What have you all been up to? I hope and pray you are striving on strong in the Lord! I've had another fruitful day in the Lord.
I shared this scripture with a sister today and so wanted to share it here also to edify you all.
Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.
And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.
The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.
Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.
But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.
Romans 13:8-14
Amen sisters what a great scripture to remind us to strive to be holy children of light and to be sisters who love first of all God and also the brethren and others too.
As I said I was going to share about my day yesterday. So I'm back again to do that and edify and encourage you in that by seeing the life of another godly woman going about her work. I'm encouraged hearing about and seeing yours.
I set my phone camera up (before I started driving) and you came with on a tiny part of my drive yesterday. You can see a bit of the lake that we live by.
Praise God for His power in creating this great earth we live on!
Ah Lord God ! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee:
Jeremiah 32:17
I needed to go shopping for fabric...
And buy some for sewing for a sister (and bought some extras too...we'll see what I make with it:-)...
Since the fabric store is near the ocean I stopped off for a bit and it was such a beautiful sunny day and the water a deep blue and green.
We sisters are often in awe aren't we of the beauty to be seen in the world which are all creations of our Father. We'll give Him the glory won't we sisters! While most rob Him of His glory, let us not be among them. In fact that reminds me of the account of the 10 lepers that were healed and only 1 returned to Jesus to thank Him.
I'll share it here...
And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.
And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off:
And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.
And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.
And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,
And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.
And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?
There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.
And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.
Luke 17:11-19
Let us be like that one giving glory to God for all things we ought to sisters!
And I saw a large group of kangaroos eating grass basically in the middle of the busy town. There were about 80 there I reckon...
And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
Genesis 1:24-25
I had to do some grocery shopping for the family too...
I'm so grateful to live in the country and have that peace and I still get to encourage all you sisters from my quiet corner of the earth. Praise God for technology! And yes there's lots of dirt in the country so if you are someone who wants everything clean and tidy well you'll have to kill your flesh and get over it! And we sisters set our minds and hearts on things above and don't stress about such things anymore.
Yesterday I was driving home but I stopped off quickly at a lookout just in time to see the sun set behind some clouds over the ocean I had just been at...so beautiful.
So that was some of my day yesterday.
And here's a bit from today.
So very many flowers around here...
It was a good day for drying a lot of washing before it may rain again...
And I get to see and smell the flowers nearby:-)
I made more chia pudding...
I took you sisters with to feed the lambs (and look at flowers along the way). The lambs are going to a new home tomorrow...so we won't see them again.
(Thank you sister for those scripture pictures:-) Amen, worthy is the Lamb of God!
OK time for me to go now! Lord willing I shall be back tomorrow to edify us all in the Lord. I hope and pray you all strive on seeking first the kingdom of God and His righteousness.
I leave you with this...
Love in Christ,
