Greetings in the Lord sisters!
I'm back again with another day!
This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope.
It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.
They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.
The Lord is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.
It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord.
Lamentations 3:21-26
Let us rejoice and be grateful in the Lord's great faithfulness! And let us humbly live for Him, giving Him glory in all we do.
I wanted to also share some pictures of beautiful flowers we have all around the place this time of year. It's all so beautiful and it makes me wonder what the garden of Eden must have been like. Well because when sin entered...it changed much didn't it.
I will sing of the mercies of the Lord for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations.
Psalm 89:1
The flowers on the almond tree are fading and it's filling with fresh green leaves...
The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.
Psalm 18:2
And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.
Isaiah 6:3
Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.
Fear before him, all the earth: the world also shall be stable, that it be not moved.
Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice: and let men say among the nations, The Lord reigneth.
1 Chronicles 16:29-31
These little creatures are starting to come out again...
I had a lot more sewing to do these last few days...
I'm grateful for my little peaceful room of refuge to do sewing in.
And also a rainbow from yesterday...
And an awesome rare treat after my long day sewing yesterday (I focus so hard on my work that I forget to eat lol).
So praise God for giving us good things and good work to do with our hands. Let's be grateful in whatever we have to do and do it as unto the Lord! And give Him praise and glory for His creations and for giving us His Word by which we live!
And I share scripture picture gifts from a sister (she made them from pictures I sent her throughout the days:-). Let's ponder the scriptures.
I was reading in Acts 20 this morning and so this verse stood out to me...
Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.
Acts 20:31
Speaking of our brother Paul's great concern for false doctrines and deception coming in amongst the believers there. I can only imagine what great grief he would have now at it all.
It's totally wicked what is going on in the name of Christ...so sad for our great and holy Saviour but we know it will be but so we need to be standing so firmly on the rock of His truth and not allow ourselves to be deceived or led away sisters. Or not become weak or soft on sin and false ways or doctrines etc.
Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness. But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.
2 Peter 3:17-18
Be on guard sister saints. Deception is everywhere and if we are not discerning and grounded in the scriptures we may be led astray. And usually that's down a path that is easier to our flesh. We find something hard to obey and then we hear someone say or teach that we don't need to be doing this or that and then we think we must have it wrong and so we are weakened. Remember the devil is a master deceiver and the father of lies. And he can come in the form of an angel of light or a roaring lion.
But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.2 Corinthians 11:3
