Greetings sisters!
I come back today to share a few simple things to edify you. In a way nothing of the Lord's truth and Word is simple because it's so priceless and precious but some days of my simple life as a Titus 2 woman are simply days that you go about doing simple yet they really are important and good things.
I share some from the Word...
"Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.
For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth.
And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.
And the word of the Lord was published throughout all the region."
Acts 13:46-49
"Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.
This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus."
Acts 4:10-13
Boldness...something we women need to have in this dark and compromised world in living for and standing on truth and when situations arise in sharing the gospel. All of course within the confines of our meek and quiet roles. We all are different but need to live as a light bringing glory to our God who has bought us with a great price.
"For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day."
2 Timothy 1:12
I finished sewing my shirt today...
We got lots more rain today too. And I went for a walk in it...
That will be great for greening up the grass more...
"He sendeth the springs into the valleys, which run among the hills.
They give drink to every beast of the field: the wild asses quench their thirst.
By them shall the fowls of the heaven have their habitation, which sing among the branches.
He watereth the hills from his chambers: the earth is satisfied with the fruit of thy works.
