Sharing Scripture and Creation

Hello sisters!

Let us rejoice that we can 'meet' here on this blog again thankful to be God's daughters and obeying Him. I hope you are strong in the Lord today and holding fast to the truth in His Word.

Today I will share some scriptures, and pictures of God's creation to edify us all.

"For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.

Rejoice not when thine enemy falleth, and let not thine heart be glad when he stumbleth:

Lest the Lord see it, and it displease him, and he turn away his wrath from him.

Fret not thyself because of evil men, neither be thou envious at the wicked;

For there shall be no reward to the evil man ; the candle of the wicked shall be put out.

My son, fear thou the Lord and the king: and meddle not with them that are given to change:

For their calamity shall rise suddenly; and who knoweth the ruin of them both?

These things also belong to the wise. It is not good to have respect of persons in judgment.

He that saith unto the wicked, Thou art righteous; him shall the people curse, nations shall abhor him:

But to them that rebuke him shall be delight, and a good blessing shall come upon them."

Proverbs 24:16-25

And I share these dew drop pictures. I love them and also the way the little water drops act as little magnifying glasses and make things look bigger. God's amazing creations surely defy logic!

"These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens, And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the Lord God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground. But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground."
Genesis 2:4-6

"He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass: as showers that water the earth."

Psalm 72:6

"The Lord by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he established the heavens. By his knowledge the depths are broken up, and the clouds drop down the dew."
Proverbs 3:19-20

"For the seed shall be prosperous; the vine shall give her fruit, and the ground shall give her increase, and the heavens shall give their dew; and I will cause the remnant of this people to possess all these things."
Zechariah 8:12

"Behold, God is great, and we know him not, neither can the number of his years be searched out. For he maketh small the drops of water: they pour down rain according to the vapour thereof: Which the clouds do drop and distil upon man abundantly."

Job 36:26-28

Praise God for His creation in all it's different forms!

God's ways are so much higher than our own.

"Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven."

Matthew 18:21-22

There's so many examples of things like that how we are to live; loving, praying for and blessing our enemies and doing them good. That is not the way of our flesh always but we look to our perfect example in our Saviour who forgave those who tortured and killed Him and did not answer or threaten them when He was falsely accused greatly.

"A fool uttereth all his mind: but a wise man keepeth it in till afterwards."

Proverbs 29:11

That's a good one for us women too. Being a wise woman and obeying the Lord, being meek and quiet, and examining all our words. And keeping in what shouldn't be said.

I was reminding myself again today how that we often speak of looking forward to heaven and being with the Father and being free from all that is bad and trials here. But of course we ought not to be living just for that but to glorify God each moment. That certainly helps to lift our spirits if they are down knowing we are glorifying Him right now in what we are doing. It goes along with being content too. Yes we long to leave this wicked world with all its sin and the consequences behind but we know that we can please our Lord in what His will is and that is that we live on this earth today. If we endure faithfully He will take us home when it's our time.

"For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:

If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.

For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life."

2 Corinthians 5:1-4

Let us be preparing and prepared at all times for that time.

A sister made this picture for me from two different pictures of things I had sewn. Thank you sister for all you share. I'm grateful for the opportunity to learn to sew such things to clothe ourselves.

Thank you sister for being an example of the believers in dress and headcovering (for one area) which starts with a godly heart made new by the Spirit.

That's it from me for today. I hope it edified and blessed your day sisters.

"As cold waters to a thirsty soul, so is good news from a far country."

Proverbs 25:25

Indeed it is a joy to hear and know of other saints living in the Lord's ways and truth.

"For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth. I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth."

3 John 1:3-4
