Encouragement For Your Day

Good day godly sister saints!

We have a new day in which to glorify the Father by our lives. Praise Him!

"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven."
Matthew 5:16

Last night's dinner/tea. It's a tortilla stack which is much like an easy version of lasagna.

That's a giant egg a hen laid today.

I used it in tea and it had two yolks of course.

I shared this pic of it with a sister in the Lord and she sent it back with the scripture.

There's some amazing verses in scripture...some of which we don't even know are in there even if we've read them before. So that got us talking a bit about salt.

"Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men."
Matthew 5:13

"Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man."
Colossians 4:6

And this one is interesting...especially considering we are living sacrifices ourselves today.

"And every oblation of thy meat offering shalt thou season with salt; neither shalt thou suffer the salt of the covenant of thy God to be lacking from thy meat offering: with all thine offerings thou shalt offer salt."
Leviticus 2:13

"For every one shall be salted with fire, and every sacrifice shall be salted with salt. Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his saltness, wherewith will ye season it? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace one with another."
Mark 9:49-50

Let us not be like this...

"But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt."
Genesis 19:26

In fact Jesus Himself told us to...

"Remember Lot's wife. Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it."
Luke 17:32-33

Of course being keepers at home and cooks we use salt a lot in cooking.

I sent this Titus 2 picture of my dishes washing to my sister and she returned it with the verse.

Yes that's something us women can think of when we are cleaning and all that...the fact that we are washed in Christ's blood and our sins are forgiven when we repent. Praise God for that! And that's not something we can take lightly...because a terrible lie going around today is that we can sin and Christ's blood still covers us. No we must repent and forsake the sin and He will forgive us.

But think of the blessing of being able to have our sins forgiven. These are and were sins against a holy, holy holy God, a terrible thing.

"And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him ; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come. And when those beasts give glory and honour and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever, The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created."
Revelation 4:8-11

"Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little. And he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven."
Luke 7:47-48

"Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee."
John 5:14

"Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered."
Romans 4:7

"Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth."
Luke 15:10

And I leave with a scripture from my sister....

Love in Christ,
