Another Day in the Lord

Hello sisters!

I pray you are standing strong, striving, and shining in this dark world.

Days can fly by and at other times life seems to stand still, yet though we must remember our life is just a vapour. We have it now but it could be gone tomorrow.

"Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away."
James 4:14

How are we living each day?

"There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judaea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and his wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elisabeth. And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless."
Luke 1:5-6

How are we sisters doing at that, walking blameless in all God has for us in the New Testament?

Let us remind ourselves to redeem the time.

"See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is."
Ephesians 5:15-17

Are we focusing on what's most important. Can the other things wait? Should we pluck them out or forsake them?

"Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things."
Philippians 4:8

"Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth? This persuasion cometh not of him that calleth you. A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump."
Galatians 5:7-9

"I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air: But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway."
1 Corinthians 9:26-27

Let us not take this blessing of living for the Lord lightly but let us run the race with all diligence and rest in the strength of the Lord.

As keepers at home let us not get lost in our duties but remember that which is eternal. But we know the Lord would have us to do good works of serving in our homes wherever the Lord has us. May we do our work unto Him.

Blessings from the garden...

You can hear some peaceful birds on this video if you like. I love hearing them.

And see a pretty moth...

And some blessings shared from another sister in the Lord...

(Thank you faithful sister. The Lord reward you:-)

How blessed we are to even have the written Word of God in our hands! Let us all cling to that in this wicked deceived world. Trust in God sisters.

"It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man."
Psalm 118:8

"There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death."
Proverbs 16:25

Yes, and I will add going along with others who called themselves Christian and "things that you did if you were Christian" (ie going to church, celebrating Christmas/Easter, etc) seemed like the right thing to do for me in the past in my own eyes...but I learned it leads to death.

"Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins."
James 5:19-20

"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."
James 4:7

Let us take our burdens and fears to the Lord. Let us walk in the Spirit and not the flesh, fear God and not man.

And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?

1 Peter 3:1

Love in Christ,
