Today's Edification (30 June 2026)

Greetings sisters!

I hope this post finds you well and pressing on in the faith and all the Lord has given you.

And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.
Colossians 3:23-24

That's encouraging isn't it! It also reminds me of this one...

When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:

And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:

And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:

Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?

When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?

Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?

And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

 Matthew 25:31-40

Let us be renewed with zeal to do good unto all!

As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
Galatians 6:10

And if we are so blessed as to know of other believers we are to focus on doing good to them. But God knows the opportunities we do and don't have! We need to focus on being faithful with what we have and content and thankful.

Another month has come to an end! Time moves on steadily for sure. And it's time for me to drop off pictures here. Hopefully they're just encouraging or edifying and most of all God-glorifying in some way or another!

Lots of general garden pictures. It's just nice to see things growing! Not everything does well and there's always creatures out to get things and unfavourable conditions where some things don't thrive, so it is a blessing and refreshing when things do grow! God is merciful and good to allow us such good things!

He watereth the hills from his chambers: the earth is satisfied with the fruit of thy works.

He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth;

And wine that maketh glad the heart of man, and oil to make his face to shine, and bread which strengtheneth man's heart.

Psalm 104:13-15

So much weeding to be done this time of year!

Finally picked all the pumpkins. 34 more to be exact. There's been a few really mild frosts but the vines were still going a bit. So that's around 70 or so pumpkins for the year! Have to give some away!

Yes He is good to provide food for mankind!

It is satisfying using the fruit of your labours!

I'm trying to use the pumpkin seeds too. It's easy to roast them in the oven with a bit of salt and oil or whatever seasonings you like.

My latest adventure is yoghurt and kefir making.

Regular 'greek' yoghurt...

And also you can grow particular strains of bacteria with different health benefits so that's interesting too! I'm literally farming germs! Good creations and food God made! It's also interesting to think that our human bodies are made up of so many other creatures as well. But God made us and all the members and creatures working together!

I got some free kefir grains that a lady was giving away, so now it will be an almost daily process for me, Lord willing. But it's so easy and the health benefits are great.

Amazing all the different things God made!

Here's some more sauerkraut too. I hope to post a recipe here soon...which will also help me remember as some of the recipes online seem complex and I want to make it super simple which it really is.

My little place on this earth that I currently call 'home' and where I write my blog posts from. Having shelter and a place to live is such an extra blessing! I'm thankful!

Interesting bird's nest fungi I saw!

God made so many unique and beautiful things!

We have been blessed with more rain but yeah not driving through that!

Been some beautiful sunny winter days here in between cold and cloudy ones.

Simply stunning! Glory to God!

And that is all I have in pictures for another month. We don't know how many more months or days we have left, so let us make good use of our time right now. (I'm linking last month's picture post here too. It kind of ends up as a diary for me too!)

Keep going strong and faithfully in whatever the Lord has given you where you are, sisters! The Lord sees! He will judge all one day and it will be according to our works. May we be abiding in Christ the Vine and bearing much good fruit for His glory!

Love unto you in His name.

Today's Edification (29 June 2026)

Greetings sisters!

I get to share in the Lord again here today! I hope your faith is strong and you are pressing on in hope!

Praise God for a Saviour and His forgiveness!

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Romans 8:1

But he, whom God raised again, saw no corruption. Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.
Acts 13:37-39

Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:
Luke 6:37

The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree. Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins. And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.
Acts 5:30-32

Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.
Luke 7:47

Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
Ephesians 1:5-7

And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
Ephesians 4:32

Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee, To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.
Acts 26:17-18

Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
Colossians 1:12-14

These are all encouraging scriptures to give us hope to keep pressing on! He is worthy of all the glory for opening the way of salvation through Christ!

Love, mercy, and peace unto you in His name!

Today's Edification (28 June 2026)

Greetings sisters!

In His grace and mercy I am able to write again here as I have another day to live!

That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us: For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.
Acts 17:27-28

For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that.
James 4:15

We are in His hands. He is in control.

Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
1 Peter 5:6-7

We don't deserve anything good but He is good! All the glory be unto His name!

May we be encouraged to keep pressing on in good useful works! The Lord has set us free from that which is in vain.

This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.
Titus 3:8

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
Galatians 6:9-10

Keep striving on where you are, sisters! The Lord knows where we are and what we have to work with in our lives. Let us be diligent and faithful to the best of our abilities with His help.

Brethren, let every man, wherein he is called, therein abide with God.
1 Corinthians 7:24
Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come. She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness. She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.
Proverbs 31:25-27

Love unto you in His name. Be of good courage in the Lord and His hope, sisters!

Today's Edification (27 June 2026)

Greetings sisters!

I hope this post finds you well and pressing on by faith! We are all being tested and we want to be found faithful when our time is up don't we.

Our actions, not our words, show our love for God and others...or not.

Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?

My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.

And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him.

1 John 3:16-19

And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?

Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like:

He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.

But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.

Luke 6:46-49

Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.

At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?

Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.

John 14:19-24

Let us continue to ponder our doings and make any changes the Lord shows us! It is a great blessing to be seeking His ways. God is merciful to us. We do not want to be turned over into sin and darkness, so let us guard what we have and be faithful to Him. Let us love Him and others in deed and in truth.

Love, mercy, and peace unto you in Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour.

Today's Edification (26 June 2026)

Greetings sisters!

The Lord gave another day in His mercies! I had a busy one, but still get to share here in the Lord as that's important that we keep Him first in our lives. But there's a lot of different things that please Him though!

Good to ponder on light as we are to be of it and not of darkness. We know God is light and we are simply reflecting that in this world! We are living examples of His written word!

For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
Ephesians 5:8-11

This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
1 John 1:5-7

But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.
1 Thessalonians 5:4-6

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.
1 Peter 2:9-10

May we walk in the light of God, sisters! His truth makes us truly free! His Word is a lamp unto our feet and light to our path. We will not stumble if we remain in His light. Press on in faith, sisters! We will reap if we faint not!

Love unto you in His name.

Today's Edification (25 June 2026)

Hello sisters!

I hope you're holding fast in the faith and sound doctrine where you are! We must cleave to the Lord and fight off all the spiritual dangers. We need to be careful not to get complacent or entangled with the cares of this life. Oh yes we must do our part on this earth and obey the laws of the land and make many physical decisions too as well as physically laboring in many things. But there's so much vanity and sin in the world and we do need to be careful of the lusts of the flesh and eyes and of the pride of life. We are not to love this world or the things in it. It's good to live a simple humble life and deny ourselves all the unnecessary things this world has to offer. And in all we do have, may we be thankful to the Lord for providing well for us. For now, we have ready access to food and clothing which are the bare essentials but we have so much more!

I know I probably share these scriptures often but they encourage me to keep going. His Word is always good to bring into memory over and over!

Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
2 Peter 3:14

And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment; That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ; Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.
Philippians 1:9-11

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
2 Timothy 3:16-17

Do all things without murmurings and disputings: That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;
Philippians 2:14-15

I give thee charge in the sight of God, who quickeneth all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession; That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:
1 Timothy 6:13-14

Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.
2 Corinthians 13:11

May we keep striving on to be more perfect and blameless and unrebukeable and without offense. We need His help for this! How grateful we are for His Word and Spirit to guide us!

Love to you sisters, in Christ our Lord.

Today's Edification (24 June 2026)

Greetings sisters!

God in His mercy has granted me life and health on another day. And I get to write here again. There are many of His pure mercies right in front of our eyes every day! Let us be grateful and give Him glory and thanks for them all.

We are looking for a new heaven and earth aren't we, sisters. This one is full of sorrows and evil and death. But praise God there is hope through Christ!

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Revelation 21:1-8

And in that we see the goodness and severity of God and we must fear Him. May we be preparing and ready and worthy to partake of that wonderful new world!

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

2 Peter 3:10-14

Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
Revelation 22:14

Let us not grow weary in well doing! We will reap if we faint not! I want to encourage you sisters to keep being faithful where you are! Each of our lives is different. But there's also a lot of the same too and we all face the same general struggles as humans. Let us reflect on our lives and days and use each one for His glory and keep growing and striving to do better!

Love, mercy, and peace unto you in His name.

Today's Edification (23 June 2026)

Greetings sisters!

Here's another day the Lord gave us! I hope you are pressing on by faith wherever you are. We are to be seeking first God's kingdom and righteousness. All we do is to be for His glory and as unto Him and what is pleasing to Him. It is good to ponder our lives and make sure what we are doing meets those. This life is short, so may we redeem the time in good, pure, and true things.

Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee. Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee. Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established. Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil.
Proverbs 4:23-27

For the Lord GOD will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.
Isaiah 50:7

But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.

Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,

And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;

If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.

Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.

Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 3:7-14

Those scriptures encourage us to keep pressing on with our heart and mind on things above, determined to endure to the very end no matter what! I'm encouraging you to keep running your race with patience, sisters! Let us look unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith!

Love unto you in His name.

Today's Edification (22 June 2026)

Hello sisters!

God has allowed me to be able to share here again! It is a blessing to be able to edify and encourage in the Lord! He is good! His truth is good! He is our greatest treasure.

Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.
Romans 14:19

Even so ye, forasmuch as ye are zealous of spiritual gifts, seek that ye may excel to the edifying of the church.
1 Corinthians 14:12

That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

Ephesians 4:14-16

Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.
1 Thessalonians 5:11

And it is also beneficial to think about the opposite of edifying which would be to tear down and destroy and such like. We don't want that. There's so much of that out there in the world sadly.

Therefore I write these things being absent, lest being present I should use sharpness, according to the power which the Lord hath given me to edification, and not to destruction.
2 Corinthians 13:10

For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another. This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
Galatians 5:13-16

May we keep walking in the truth in the lives the Lord has given us! He knows if we are using the opportunities we have in our lives to do good or not. And we can rest and trust in that!

We are to also live in peace with all people as much as is possible on our part. It often does take two to be quarreling doesn't it. As Jesus showed us, there's a time to keep silence in certain situations also. It is not weakness but strength! When we know our place before the Lord then we don't so much take things personally as we know we are nothing. God sees all and in that we trust, for vengeance is His, not ours! There's so much to ponder from His Word for our daily lives. Let us walk in His ways and live!

Love unto you in His name.

Today's Edification (21 June 2026)

Greetings sisters!

I hope this finds you pressing on for the kingdom of God! Faith is such a big concept to ponder and what it looks like, is, and what a lack of it would also look like. We know it is being truly persuaded of that which is not seen. We walk by faith not by sight and we know we are absent from the Lord for now. Jesus gave us parables about a man leaving his servants and going into a far country. He gave his servants tasks to do and good rewards and praises were given to those who did well while he was away. That helps us also get the picture of what we are and should be doing faithfully. God is good to have given us all these concepts of spiritual truths in things people would understand!

I share this precious scripture about our Saviour today. May it keep us in our place before Him. How thankful we ought to be for all He did and went through. May complaining and ungratefulness be not once named among us.

Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?

For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.

He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.

He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.

And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.

Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.

He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.

Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

Isaiah 53:1-12

He is our only hope. May we press on with thankful hearts for all He has done for us in His love, mercy, and grace. The glory be unto His name! He has been and still is so long suffering with mankind. But let us who know the truth live pleasing to Him by walking in His good ways! How glad we are that He gave us His Word also! It is a lamp unto our feet and light to our path! Let us live by it and endure unto eternal life!

Love, mercy, and peace unto you in Christ our Lord.

Greetings sisters!

The glory be to God on this day He gave us! May our lives bring Him glory as we bear good fruit.

I'm sharing scriptures on humble today. Of course it is what we are to be and while it may be hard to explain what it exactly is and looks like, we do know what the opposite of pride is which is an abomination to God and we do not want.

Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;
Colossians 3:12

Before destruction the heart of man is haughty, and before honour is humility.
Proverbs 18:12

But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble....Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.
James 4:6,10

Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
Matthew 18:4

Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble. Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
1 Peter 5:5-7

I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.
Luke 18:14

Let us walk in humility under His mighty hand. He is Lord and we are undeserving subjects of His grace and mercy, and for that we are so thankful. Let us keep in our place and serve Him willingly!

Hold fast to the truth, sisters! Love unto you in His name.
