Today's Edification (25 October 2025)

Hello again sisters!

The Lord granted me life again to come back here to edify in the faith.

And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord, And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.
Luke 1:46-47

And so it is today, a good day to rejoice in God our Saviour!

And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house, forsomuch as he also is a son of Abraham. For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.
Luke 19:9-10

For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them. And they went to another village.
Luke 9:56

Indeed it was said peace and good will towards man at His coming.

Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
Luke 2:14

For He was and is our Saviour!

And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
Matthew 1:21
And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.
1 Thessalonians 1:10

Yes we need a Saviour from our sins and from God's wrath on us because of them.

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
Romans 1:18
Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
Ephesians 5:6

Praises be to God for His precious gift as we did not deserve it.

Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
Titus 3:5
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Ephesians 2:8
This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.
1 Timothy 1:15
But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
Matthew 9:13

He is good. And so let us be deeply grateful and bring forth fruit fitting for repentance.

Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance: And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham. And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
Matthew 3:8-10

So let us walk in newness of life and rejoice in hope of that precious inheritance to come which is laid up for the faithful. Let us be faithful unto death, following our Saviour! He is the only way.

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Acts 4:12

Let's hold fast to Him, sisters! Love and mercy unto you in His name.

Today's Edification (24 October 2025)

Greetings again sisters!

Hopefully this finds you pressing through in the faith on one more day that we have!

I was thinking about forbearing as it is something we are to be with others.

With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
Ephesians 4:2

Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
Colossians 3:13

And as usual our Lord is our perfect example in this for He put up with us in our sins didn't He. And we are thankful for that! So let us be with others as He taught us. And we just know that sometimes people can be challenging whether it's something we don't like what they do or yes that we want them to stop sinning. But we do not try to change the world to make them be more agreeable to us. God can change people if they are willing but let us focus on our own actions ourselves. Of course this does not mean we think sin is OK, far from it, but we are in sin ourselves if we are not forbearing and long suffering through this life with so many things. Also reminds me of patience. We need a lot of that in general in this life and again with others. The tests of our faith really are when things get hard.

Let us praise the Lord for His goodness, forgiveness, mercy, love, grace, and longsuffering. And as we have freely received let us freely give these to others! He is the judge, not us, so let us leave all revenging in His hands.

Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge standeth before the door.
James 5:9

Let us keep discerning (and judging) what is right and what is wrong and may He help us!

May we keep living out the faith in all these ways that He has for us! May He be glorified in us!

Today's Edification (23 October 2025)

Greetings sisters!

I hope you are well and striving on in the faith today! It is another day of His mercies, faithfulness, and goodness! Another day for us to go forth with thankful hearts for His grace and love in Christ our Saviour!

Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
Ephesians 4:13-14
I was thinking how, no, we don't want to be carried here or there with false doctrine but we also don't want to be so set in our beliefs that we can't change when we are actually found to have something wrong. So it is a balance, because of course we have had things wrong and may still but the Lord knows if we are truly seeking and wanting to change to be right. But yes we do need to be really careful of what doctrines we hear proclaimed as truth (well sometimes we can't help what we hear of course, but what we consider or heed and accept). Of course man is saying a lot all over the internet and in books and such. And sadly much of it is just that, man's ideas and interpretations and opinions. So we do stay away from such things. We need His Word, and the Spirit to guide us and a willing heart to obey all we find.

Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
Psalm 139:23-24

For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me.
Psalm 31:3

Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.
Psalm 25:5

So let us keep pressing on in His truth in the Word. No we don't change it to make it more relevant. It is the same truth as it was when Christ and His apostles walked the earth (and of course from the beginning but not the added law which has been replaced by a better covenant!).

Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.
2 Timothy 1:13

Let us sisters hold fast to sound doctrine and keep going in 'the old paths' of the truth we have in the Word.

Today's Edification (22 October 2025)

Greetings sisters!

That was a beautiful sunset here last night. It's been a bit stormy here and the different clouds add to the sunset! Glory to God for all good things in this world!

Today I am sharing the end part Proverbs 31 to encourage us women to keep pressing on with diligence and strength!

Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.

The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.

She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.

She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.

She is like the merchants' ships; she bringeth her food from afar.

She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens.

She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard.

She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms.

She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night.

She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff.

She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy.

She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet.

She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple.

Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land.

She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant.

Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.

She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.

She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.

Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.

Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.

Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.

Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.

Proverbs 31:10-31

It's just encouraging isn't it! Hard work is pleasing to God, as being idle is not. It is in works that are useful and benefit others of course! And we know order is also of God and for example the house itself needs a lot of work to keep order in it.

I'm also sharing some scriptures on what we don't want to be...

I went by the field of the slothful, and by the vineyard of the man void of understanding;
And, lo, it was all grown over with thorns, and nettles had covered the face thereof, and the stone wall thereof was broken down.
Then I saw, and considered it well: I looked upon it, and received instruction.
Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep:
So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth; and thy want as an armed man.
Proverbs 24:30-34

Slothfulness casteth into a deep sleep; and an idle soul shall suffer hunger.
Proverbs 19:15

The slothful man roasteth not that which he took in hunting: but the substance of a diligent man is precious.
Proverbs 12:27

And in this age we live in with all the entertainment and pleasure seeking on offer, it's just a sad state of affairs. But let us labour in good works and for others, indeed as unto the Lord and He sees! So keep pressing on with strength sisters! And I will strive to here. Yes we may have physical weaknesses in these bodies to press through or they may hinder us but we can press through a lot and to keep moving is even better for us. But yes sometimes you become so limited and need to rest and that's good too! There are times and seasons for these things so let us be patient through it all and looking to the Lord our God!

Also as it mentions in that Proverbs 31 scripture, the fear of the Lord. This is the beginning of wisdom and we do want to be wise women. No not worldly wise as that is foolishness to God but wise from fearing Him and obeying His ways.

Keep pressing on in all good things sister! Keep the faith! Love to you in His name.

Today's Edification (21 October 2025)

Hello my sisters in the Lord!

I hope you're steadfastly pressing on in the faith! We can be encouraged by those gone before us like as recorded in Hebrews 11 of their faith and obedience. A lot of them went through some really hard things and still kept faithful to the Lord! It is inspiring for us today! They had to wait on the Lord and trust His promises even when they didn't see them for a long time.

I just saw this scripture and it is a good one to ponder and rejoice in how His grace is truly sufficient for us Gentiles. The glory be to God that He has extended this hope to us. Yes we were hopeless and lost without Christ but now in Christ we are made near by His blood. He is our peace. Let us abide in Him and His love.

For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles,

If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:

How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words,

Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)

Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;

That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:

Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power.

Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;

And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,

According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:

In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.

Ephesians 3:1-12

And we indeed ought to listen to those who God has chosen and sent to us. We are so blessed to have so much truth poured out through Christ's apostles.

And in that we do have instructions for us as women too, from apostles Paul and Peter. So let's keep pressing on in those too and everything else! Let us hold fast to this truth and conform our lives to it as we keep walking by faith. Over time we do have our senses exercised to better discern good and evil. But we must keep disciplined otherwise we just lose that and become insensitive to things and then compromise which we do not want.

But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
Ephesians 4:15

But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.
2 Peter 3:18

May we keep growing by feeding on His Word sisters! And indeed the experiences we go through over time also help!

Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:

But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;

Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:

1 Peter 1:13-17

Be strong and of a good courage to keep standing for the Lord sisters! Love, mercy, and peace unto you in His name.

Greetings sisters!

I am able to be here again to encourage us in the Lord our wonderful God! The joy of the Lord is our strength! And only in Him can we truly rejoice!

Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.

Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:4-7

We truly are richly blessed in Him on this earth and of course to have such a grand inheritance ahead for if we endure faithfully to the end! And we can with His help.

In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.
Psalm 138:3

The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
Psalm 27:1

Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.
Psalm 27:14

Let us keep looking to Him to sustain us through this life. We need His wisdom and guidance so much.

Let us keep living day by day in whatever good works we have and can find to do. To God be the glory!

Today's Edification (19 October 2025)

Hello again sisters!

I am here again to share in the Lord! I usually get to write my posts first thing in the morning with my cup of tea, so it's a nice start to the day focusing on the Lord and remembering His mercies for a new day!

God our Father and Saviour is the most important object in our lives of course. So to keep our mind on Him as often as we can is what we want. Yes the duties and things of this life right in front of us do take a lot of thought and consideration too but in it all His Word is guiding us in what we do and how as well. We do walk by faith as we cannot see God but we know as the parable says as it is like as if He has gone into a far country for a long time. But we know our Saviour is coming back! We just want to be found faithful and watching, as His obedient servants. We need to keep ourselves from this world and from loving it with all its enticements and lusts. We also know the dangers of false doctrine and ways associated with the truth which are particularly dangerous as well. So we have a lot to ward off with our armour and keep our focus on Him, our Loved One who died for us and rose again so we can have life everlasting!

Nevertheless I am continually with thee: thou hast holden me by my right hand.

Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.

Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee.

My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.

For, lo, they that are far from thee shall perish: thou hast destroyed all them that go a whoring from thee.

But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all thy works.

Psalm 73:23-28

Let us keep ourselves pure for our Lord.

Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
James 1:27

We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.
1 John 5:18

Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
Jude 1:21

Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
Psalm 139:23-24

Let us keep pondering the path of our feet and keeping our hearts with all diligence. The Lord help us, sisters! Love and mercy unto you. Strive on!

Today's Edification (18 October 2025)

Greetings sisters!

I hope you're well and seeking first the kingdom of God and His righteousness!

But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
1 Timothy 6:11

Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.
Philippians 1:11

(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;).
Ephesians 5:9

For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
Romans 14:17

Here is a precious scripture to ponder too...

If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.
John 12:26

God honouring us? But we don't deserve that. No we don't, but He is merciful and forgiving and loving. Let us seek to please Him with thankfulness! It is good to always remember we are His servants.

Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart;
Ephesians 6:6

But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
Romans 6:22

Let us press on and not grow weary! We will reap in due season if we do not faint! Hold fast sisters! Love unto you in His name who first loved us. All the glory be to Him!

Greetings sister saints!

I'm dropping in on a busy day here. I'm sure you also are keeping well occupied in what the Lord has given you. It is a blessing to have good things to labour in too. Being idle is not a good thing.

It is another day of His mercies here. We can focus on His goodness and make sure we are walking in His good ways, and as Titus 2 for women says we are to be good. There is so much about good works and so let us remind ourselves to keep pressing on in them with zeal and joy!

This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.

And let ours also learn to maintain good works for necessary uses, that they be not unfruitful.

Titus 3:8, 14

Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate;
1 Timothy 6:17-18

And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
Hebrews 10:24

Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
Titus 2:14

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
2 Timothy 3:16-17

A lot of good encouragement and instructions for us there!

Let us keep seeking after good works and doing them with diligence and cheerfulness!

Strive on my sisters! Love to you.

Hello sister saints!

Hopefully all is well with you and you are pressing on in the faith and truth in Christ our Saviour! Oh yes we shall have tribulation on the earth but we can be strong spiritually through it all if we seek it from Him and His ways! His Word surely encourages us a lot. Indeed we live by it also and not food alone.

Here are some of God's perfect good ways for us!

Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,

Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;

Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;

Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

1 Corinthians 13:4-7

Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.

Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.

Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

Matthew 5:3-12

God's ways are the truth and any ways outside of them are false. Man's ways are ever changing and are evil but the Lord's ways are sure and stedfast and indeed are built on love.

May we sisters keep seeking after His ways for us! And we know serving is for all saints but we as women have a lot of such works. Let us be joyful in them and appreciate all the blessings around us even if we don't care for a particular day or circumstance or whatever. Let us just live each day and do the best in it! It is all we have as tomorrow may never be.

May our Lord be glorified as we live by His ways. Love to you in the faith.

Greetings sister saints!

God's mercies are upon me as I write you another post in hopes to edify and encourage you in the faith! Hopefully you are pressing through life strong in the faith. We do not see or hear Him directly but by faith we press on knowing He made this world, sent us a Saviour, and will come again in His time.

Praise God for the new way through Christ! Let us follow hard after Him to eternal life! He is the one and only way to heaven.

Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.

For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.

But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.

Romans 7:4-6

Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,

By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;

And having an high priest over the house of God;

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:

Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

Hebrews 10:19-27

For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread:

And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.

After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.

For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come.

1 Corinthians 11:23-26

Praise God for new and better things in Christ! He is life so let us abide in Him and be washed in His precious blood.

Keep pressing on in your women's duties too sisters! The Lord give you patience and long suffering in those too and everything else needed! His ways are good!

Love unto you in His name.

Greetings sister saints!

Here is one more day on the earth that we will never get again. And while many of the days seem to have much the same things we do in, yet each one is unique. Each one is an opportunity for us to do well for our Lord. And if we fail one day, the next is another opportunity to do better for Him! There is hope in Him!

I am sharing this scripture as it is another good one to ponder and live by!

Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.

For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.

The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.

Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.

But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.

Romans 13:8-14

We have a precious high calling to walk in light, righteousness, holiness and all His good ways for His glory.

May we stay close to His Word in this ever changing world where that which is false and fake is rampant and you can almost not trust anyone or anything it seems. But we can trust in our Lord and His Word though man tries to change that as well. May He come soon and end this chaos of man and may we be ready!

Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Matthew 6:10
He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

Today's Edification (13 October 2025)

Greetings sisters!

I am dropping in again on another day the Lord granted. I hope you are all doing well most of all spiritually and pressing forwards in the faith of Christ!

I was just pondering how it is wise to be slow to speak. It is human nature to jump to conclusions, think they know things, assume things, and just be too free with speaking their mind and heart. But I think of Mary who pondered things in her heart.

But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart...

And he went down with them, and came to Nazareth, and was subject unto them: but his mother kept all these sayings in her heart.

Luke 2:19, 51

And His Word teaches the same too.

Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.
James 1:19-20

A fool uttereth all his mind: but a wise man keepeth it in till afterwards.
Proverbs 29:11

There's so very many scriptures on the tongue in fact. So many warnings and guidance. And sometimes our Lord didn't speak either so let us use our words with wisdom. There is a time to speak and a time not to.

He that answereth a matter before he heareth it, it is folly and shame unto him.
Proverbs 18:13

I'm sharing this good scripture too...

But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.

For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.

For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.

Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.

Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.

For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.

But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.

For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.

Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.

1 Thessalonians 5:1-11

We look for the coming of the Prince of peace who will come in wrath to judge this present evil world. He will gather His elect and there will be a new heaven and earth where there is no more curse. He will make all things new! Let us be watching and ready and not caught unaware. Hold fast sisters!

And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you: To the end he may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints.
1 Thessalonians 3:12-13

Strive on as good soldiers of Christ, sisters! He is worthy! Love, mercy, and peace unto you.

Today's Edification (12 October 2025)

Greetings sister saints!

I hope you are strong in the faith and looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith!

I was just pondering on peace, and quietness, and humility, and simplicity, and contentment.

It is just a picture of what the world is not and of how we are to be in our lives. And sometimes it isn't what the flesh wants either but as in many things we must submit to His ways which are good and best! So I will share a few scriptures on these things in general.

But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
1 Timothy 6:6-8

Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
Hebrews 12:14

I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
1 Timothy 2:1-2

Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;

Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.

And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.

And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

Colossians 3:12-15

Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
Hebrews 13:5-6

Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all.
2 Thessalonians 3:16

There's so many more scriptures and so many different angles to ponder on too. We can only have true peace when we are living in all obedience to Him the best we know how and continuing to seek His ways and be led of His Spirit of truth and holiness. Let us keep seeking Him as our first priority. And everything else falls into place under that. May He help us in these perilous times where faith is rare and love is waxing cold. Our redemption draws nearer! Let us be ready for our Lord!

Peace, mercy, and love to my sisters in Christ around the world!
