Greetings sisters!
I hope you're holding fast and doing well today. It's another day to drop back in and share in the Lord our great God!
O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;
To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary.
Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee.
Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.
My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips:
When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches.
Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.
My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me.
Psalm 63:1-8
Yes He is whom we seek and love. May we be careful to not let anything get in the way of us doing that. He is the only one and true living God and there's so many so called gods and of course more subtle forms of 'gods' that people devote their lives to in this world like riches and pleasures and such.
May the Lord be our joy and He is indeed sufficient for us. Without Him we do not even exist of course, but if we do not believe and follow Him, we are most hopeless, lost and destined for judgment.
Our God is good! May we go forth in our days rejoicing in hope! Though we do not deserve anything good He is merciful, loving, and gracious. May we have thankful humble hearts before Him and fear to despise His goodness and sin, lest we fall from His grace.
But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
James 4:6
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
Hebrews 4:16
For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
Titus 2:11-14
How thankful we are also for His Word to guide us through this life! We have been told what is acceptable to Him and what is not.
Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
Be not ye therefore partakers with them.
For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:
(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)
Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.
And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
Ephesians 5:6-11
For we do have a high calling and standard to live up to to walk worthy of His holy name.
And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment;
That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ;
Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.
Philippians 1:9-11
May His Word guide us with the truth through these evil times of deception and sin. Hold fast to Him where you are sisters! His return draws nearer! Mercy and love unto you.
