Today's Edification (7 January 2026)

Greetings sisters!

I hope you're pressing on in the faith. We have the most precious promises ahead if we endure faithful.

Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.
Psalm 27:14

O love the LORD, all ye his saints: for the LORD preserveth the faithful, and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer. Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD.
Psalm 31:23-24

God is good to have given us so much encouragement...for He knew we shall have much tribulation. It always has been a part of this world since man's fall, but one day if we endure, old things shall pass away!

And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

Revelation 21:3-7

Let us strive to overcome through the blood of the Lamb and our faith in Him.

For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
1 John 5:4

Keep pressing on in the life God has you in, sisters! He sees! Love, mercy, and peace unto you in Jesus' name.

Today's Edification (6 January 2026)

Greetings sisters!

The glory be to God for another day on this earth that He granted us. There are many blessings in it of His goodness and mercies.

I am glad we have been shown what we are to do!

He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?
Micah 6:8

And now, Israel, what doth the LORD thy God require of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,

To keep the commandments of the LORD, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good?

Behold, the heaven and the heaven of heavens is the LORD'S thy God, the earth also, with all that therein is.

Deuteronomy 10:12-14

Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.
John 6:28-29

Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
Ecclesiastes 12:13-14

And we have many specific commands to obey today and they are always good! His Word is a light to our path. Man's ways are always changing but we can trust in His ways that change not.

Keep pressing on in His will, sisters! We are grateful to have some specific direction for us as women aren't we. He is our Creator, our Father, and our Master. We are not our own.

Love unto you in the faith and truth in Jesus.

Today's Edification (5 January 2026)

Hello again sisters!

By His grace and mercy I am able to write again here...to the glory of God! I hope you're edified and encouraged somehow too.

I'm so glad to know and serve the one and only true and living God!

And saying, Sirs, why do ye these things? We also are men of like passions with you, and preach unto you that ye should turn from these vanities unto the living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein:

Who in times past suffered all nations to walk in their own ways.

Nevertheless he left not himself without witness, in that he did good, and gave us rain from heaven, and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness.

Acts 14:15-17

Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.

But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;

Hebrews 3:12-14

As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is none other God but one.

For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,)

But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.

1 Corinthians 8:4-6

For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.
1 Timothy 2:5-6

And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but he:

And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.

Mark 12:32-33

God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;

Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;

And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;

That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:

For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.

And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:

Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

Acts 17:24-31

Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.

I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.

I have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, that I am God.

Isaiah 43:10-12

It makes me so thankful to know this and be able to serve Him! There's a lot of good encouragement in those scriptures! So let us press on serving Him in obedience.

Love, mercy, and peace unto you in the name of Jesus. He is the only way to heaven and the only Saviour. The way is narrow. Let us strive for it sisters!

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Acts 4:12
Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
Matthew 7:13-14
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
John 14:6

Hello again sisters!

Another day of His mercies is here and I am here too to edify in the Lord. I hope you are doing well in your corner of the earth. The Lord sees all His children and is a good Father to us. May we be strong in faith and not fearful and faithless.

I was thinking how people today are even more without excuse as we all have ready access to the Word of God via technology. That is one great blessing of it despite its many downsides. And of course no one needs anything other than the Word to come to the knowledge of the truth. You don't need me or any other saint to explain the way of salvation when God said it all in His Word. But no doubt we can talk about His Word and God can use people for His purposes to share His way of salvation in Christ. Sometimes I ponder this scripture too...

Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men: Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.
2 Corinthians 3:2-3

And it makes me think how we get to actually live out in practice that which is written of His commands. They are not just written in words but being shown in how we live. We do and not just hear. And of course people see that. It also reminds me of this scripture about the men beholding their wives holy lives and being won.

Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives;

While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear.

Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel;

But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.

For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands:

Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement.

1 Peter 3:1-6

And we know many are not reading the Word of God today. And we know we are to be His witnesses, representing His ways of holiness. It is a high calling and one we should take seriously. We do not want to take His name in vain and do things that are contrary to His doctrines and thus blaspheme Him. It's really sad how the way of truth is being evil spoken of by those who do things extremely contrary to scripture, and then the unknowing world is confused and turned away by such repulsive actions by those naming His name. But may we adorn the doctrine of God by acting in His ways of love, mercy, compassion, patience, truth, holiness, and everything else.

Praise God for our Saviour, Jesus Christ and Him crucified and raised again for our salvation! Let us continue in our faith in Him and depart from iniquity. The Lord help us! How glad we are to have His Word to guide us through this life. Keep striving for the heavenly kingdom, sisters!

Love unto you in His name.

Today's Edification (3 January 2026)

Greetings sisters!

I hope this finds you steadfast in the Lord! Every day we have many choices and decisions to make. May we ponder the path of our feet and keep thinking before we act.

Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee.

Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established.

Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil.

Proverbs 4:25-27

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Proverbs 3:5-6

Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
Proverbs 4:23

May we keep simply obeying our Lord's good ways and others will naturally see them and in that God is glorified!

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
Matthew 5:16

Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
John 15:8

Keep going in all your duties as women, sisters! If we faint not (yes we know we can lose our hope of salvation), we will reap in due season! Let's keep being patient for our rewards and glorious inheritance to come. We have good works to occupy in as faithful servants of His for now. May we press on in His strength and with His help!

Love, peace, and mercy unto you in Jesus' name.

Hello sisters!

I hope you're getting your joy and strength from the Lord today and pressing on!

I was listening to the account of Joseph and his brothers and it's just such an inspiring one. We see God's plan behind it. And it makes you ponder how while a situation or something may look completely evil, we do not know everything or the full picture or plan of God. We know all things work for good to those that love Him. I'm sharing just a bit of this as it is an incredible account.

Then Joseph could not refrain himself before all them that stood by him; and he cried, Cause every man to go out from me. And there stood no man with him, while Joseph made himself known unto his brethren.

And he wept aloud: and the Egyptians and the house of Pharaoh heard.

And Joseph said unto his brethren, I am Joseph; doth my father yet live? And his brethren could not answer him; for they were troubled at his presence.

And Joseph said unto his brethren, Come near to me, I pray you. And they came near. And he said, I am Joseph your brother, whom ye sold into Egypt.

Now therefore be not grieved, nor angry with yourselves, that ye sold me hither: for God did send me before you to preserve life.

For these two years hath the famine been in the land: and yet there are five years, in the which there shall neither be earing nor harvest.

And God sent me before you to preserve you a posterity in the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance.

So now it was not you that sent me hither, but God: and he hath made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord of all his house, and a ruler throughout all the land of Egypt.

Haste ye, and go up to my father, and say unto him, Thus saith thy son Joseph, God hath made me lord of all Egypt: come down unto me, tarry not:

Genesis 45:1-9

Our God does many wonderful works!

He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the LORD is gracious and full of compassion.
Psalm 111:4

Many, O LORD my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.
Psalm 40:5

Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
Psalm 107:8

And in His perfect time, He sent us a wonderful Saviour!

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Isaiah 9:6

Thanks be unto God for His unspeakable gift!

He is the Creator of this world and has His own plan and timings for everything. We know not when the Lord's day will be exactly...but we have been told to be aware of the signs and be ready at all times. It will not come upon us as a thief, as it will to the world, if we are ready and watching. So let us be faithful and preparing for His return.

But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.

For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.

For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.

Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.

Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.

For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.

But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.

For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.

Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.

1 Thessalonians 5:1-11

Keep pressing on faithfully in whatever the Lord has given you sisters! Hold fast till He comes!

Love and peace unto you in His name.

Today's Edification (1 January 2026)

Greetings sister saints!

The joy of the Lord is our strength! And in the hope to come we will rejoice! Jesus our Saviour is joy and hope and life...

Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
1 Peter 1:8-9

For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

Titus 2:11-14

God's word is just so packed full of nourishment for our soul isn't it! May we feed on it and live.

And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.
Luke 4:4

In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
1 John 4:9

Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.

Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.

For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.

He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.

As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.

This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever.

John 6:53-58

It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him:
2 Timothy 2:11

Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.
John 14:19

Praise God for life! Indeed our God - the one and only true and living God - has given us all things that pertain to life!

According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
2 Peter 1:3-4

And we will hope for our eternal life to come and strive to be found worthy and faithful on that day!

In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;
Titus 1:2

Hold fast to the truth, sisters! Love to you in His name.

Today's Edification (31 December 2025)

Greetings sisters!

I hope this post finds you faithful in the Lord and doing well. I am here. By faith, we know our Lord and the precious promises to come. In Him we have so much and He is sufficient for us. Thanks be unto God for His unspeakable gift!

It is the end of another month. It is the end of another year. To me, the changing of a year is more a time to ponder more deeply eternity and being ready for the Lord. It's really just another day out of time with a different number of year, with nothing particularly special about it. But it does make me ponder the passing of time and how eternity is coming closer. It can make you think of the lost world so unprepared which is a sad thought too. But we are responsible for our own lives. So let's reflect on them and see if we are doing our best for the Lord in them, as we should always ponder our ways. And we can reflect on the Lord's blessings of the year gone by and rejoice in His goodness! We trust the future to Him and go forward in His strength! We have His Word and Spirit to guide us through the unknown. We know what is prepared for those who love Him after this life but we do not know what He has for us down here. But we have His promise that He will never leave us or forsake us! So no matter what, we have hope! Let us stay close to Him and He will to us too! He is faithful.

So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.
Psalm 90:12

See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.
Ephesians 5:15-17

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
Galatians 6:9

Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain:

Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.

For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that.

But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil.

Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

James 4:13-17

Let us press on each day and submit to His will.

And so it is also time for another picture post catchup too.

A lot of pictures of the garden here which is going reasonably well for the most part.

Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain. Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.
James 5:7-8
There's so many things that can go wrong with getting a harvest. The heat on a few days have been damaging some things here, so it's just an extra blessing whatever you get. There's also hungry creatures, and also some tomatoes and potatoes have viruses so it's so good when you actually can pick fruits or vegetables! As that scripture says...long patience for the precious fruit of the earth! I can relate to that!

I know God designed the leaves of some plants to wilt on hot days to conserve moisture but sometimes it's just too hot and it kills the leaves like in these pumpkins below...

Looks like a frost has been through but one 40 degree C day did it. So there can be disappointments too but such is life in this world.

We got some artichokes before the snails killed most of them off. Very rare to have snail problems here but they loved these.

Not really a vegetable you can get much out of anyway so probably no real loss. Their flowers are huge and really pretty though!

One night I decided to cook a meal strictly with vegetables from the garden and eggs from the hens here.

Just salt and oil were store-bought and I made a frittata with them all. It's a blessing and satisfying being able to do that! Hard work with challenges but just simple and good.

We got some apricots again this year. We only have one tree which seems to be doing better now.

Many of the other fruit trees seem to be having a year off with not much fruit and a lot of leaves. But I am thankful for what we get!

As in that scripture I shared above, it mentions the husbandman, and I guess that's just an interesting translation and word we don't use today. But yes I am being a 'husbandman' working in the gardan and orchard here. There are more scriptures that use the word.

The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits. Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things.
2 Timothy 2:6-7

I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
John 15:1-2

They say unto him, He will miserably destroy those wicked men, and will let out his vineyard unto other husbandmen, which shall render him the fruits in their seasons.
Matthew 21:41
It also reminds me of the first man and woman on earth, placed in the garden. And the Lord told Adam that in the sweat of his face would he eat food. There is a lot in the Word about such things really, and spiritual lessons to learn as well.

Storing onions in the room I use for sewing...

I am trying them in bread crates this year as we had them in onion bags other years and a lot go to waste. But not sure how these will go this year. Hopefully better airflow to them all to keep them drier.

Good foods the Lord provides! I would share.

Learning how to use sourdough more too.

Apart from bread...

Using it in apple muffins...

Crackers...

And scones...

I'm still keeping reasonably busy with cleaning jobs in between everything else. It's a blessing to be able to support yourself more and be able to lay some aside in store for future needs of myself and others.

I am making most of my own cleaners lately. Maybe I will share the recipes sometime but there's a lot online to find.

Just good being in control and not using anything super toxic. Hopefully cheaper too.

And I have had quite a bit of sewing this month actually. I got several orders and also just adding more items to my store. So I am thankful to keep busy and have the strength and health for it. I'm sure you're keeping occupied in whatever good works the Lord has given you, sisters!

So that's about it for my monthly catch up picture post. It's just a blessing to live a simple life in quietness and peace in the land, minding our own business, and of course we have a high standard to live up to and are His witnesses here and ready to give an answer of the hope we have. The Lord keep using us in all good things. He knows where His own are.

Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
2 Timothy 2:19

Keep fighting the good fight of faith sisters! It is a spiritual battle for we do not wrestle against flesh and blood but against spiritual powers of darkness. But God gave us armour!
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Ephesians 6:10-13

Hold fast, sisters! Fare well! Love, mercy, and peace unto you in His name.

Today's Edification (30 December 2025)

Greetings sisters!

Grace, mercy, and peace to you in Jesus' name. He is our hope today! In that we rejoice!

When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
Colossians 3:4

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
John 14:6

Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?
John 11:25-26

And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
1 John 5:11-12

Yes our only hope of life is in Jesus. He is so critically important for our salvation! He is our Saviour! Let us cleave to Him with purpose of heart and follow Him. We must abide in Him to be saved we know. May this be our life's focus as we do not want to be foolish and gain the world and lose our souls.

Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.

If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.

These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.

John 15:4-11

May we hold fast to Christ and His words, sisters. We know He taught us the way of truth, love, and caring. Yes we will be divided and set apart unto Him, keeping ourselves unspotted from the world. But we are in the world. Jesus was in the world and He gave us good examples of how to treat people. Of course He is God and so that is a difference but His teachings are written of our learning for which I am so glad!

Here is a good chunk of His practical teachings for our life today to edify us!

But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you,

Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.

And unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloke forbid not to take thy coat also.

Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again.

And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.

For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them.

And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same.

And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again.

But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.

Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.

Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:

Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

Luke 6:27-38

May we keep being doers of the word, sisters! Strive on!
