Today's Edification (1 December 2025)

Greetings sisters!

Time is moving on steadily. The last month of the year is here and eternity for each of us is closer. It just makes you reflect on life and how you're spending it, and to make sure you're ready.

So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.
Psalm 90:12

See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.
Ephesians 5:15-17

Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.
Colossians 4:5

There is a lot about wisdom and time in those!

There may be a lot we don't like going on in the world and of course much that is plain sin but we are responsible for our own life. We need to focus on ourselves and be aware of hypocrisy and how easy it could be to slip into it. It may be easy to think and worry about what other people are doing but there's nothing we can do about it but instead focus on our own walk with the Lord. Focus on Him of course, but keep our own hearts with all diligence.

I sometimes think about envy and what it really is and looks like. It is clearly a work of the flesh and not of God, and we need to keep ourselves from it too of course.

But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.
James 3:14-16
For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?
1 Corinthians 3:3
For I fear, lest, when I come, I shall not find you such as I would, and that I shall be found unto you such as ye would not: lest there be debates, envyings, wraths, strifes, backbitings, whisperings, swellings, tumults:
2 Corinthians 12:20

There's more scriptures on it to show us it isn't good but it's another thing we want to keep ourselves from and test our hearts for including any subtle forms of it too. The Lord help us be purified and holy unto Him, walking in the fruits of the Spirit from above.

This is a good scripture to encourage us to be diligent.

And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;

And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;

And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.

For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.

Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:

2 Peter 1:5-10

Yes we must put in effort and indeed fight the good fight of faith.

Keep striving on for truth sisters! Love, peace, mercy, and grace unto you in His name.

Today's Edification (30 November 2025)

Greetings in Christ, sisters!

Hopefully you're holding fast in the truth in your corner of the earth! One day all shall come from the north and from the south, from the east and from the west and be gathered to His kingdom! But we must be walking worthy of it now indeed as many things will not be allowed to enter His kingdom. It is a pure and holy one.

Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:

But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;

Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:

Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;

But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

1 Peter 1:13-19

Yes we are to be holy and pure unto our God, walking in all His ways and washed in the precious blood of the Lamb. It is all unto His glory of course as without Him we know how evil the heart of man is all over the world. All good things are from above.

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Romans 12:1-2

Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
1 John 3:2-3

Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
Matthew 5:8

So may we sisters keep seeking to keep ourselves pure and unspotted for our Lord. His Word is there to guide and correct us in it all, so we are so blessed!

If He wills, I will write again tomorrow. Love to my sisters in Christ.

Today's Edification (29 November 2025)

Hello sisters!

In God's mercy and grace I am back to edify in Him. Hopefully my sisters are still pressing on in the faith and all good works possible!

As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
Galatians 6:10

This scripture reminds me how we do good as we have opportunity. We all have different ones and different lives too so the Lord knows if we are doing our best. He sees us everywhere of course including when others don't. He is whom we please and live unto. But we do please people too in the work we do for them etc. No we don't please them by doing everything they want us to and such because that may go against God and our faith and conscience but in all good things we can do our work well.

Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ;

Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart;

With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men:

Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.

Ephesians 6:5-8

The many teachings written to servants can help us see how God wants us to work for others.

Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ.

But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.

And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.

Matthew 23:10-12

But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them.

But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister;.

And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant:

Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

Matthew 20:25-28

It's always good to bring these things into our remembrance and it is encouraging to know that is what God wants. Jesus as usual is such a perfect example. He did so much for us...although He thought it not robbery to be equal with God. He lowered Himself so much to become a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death. He is so good.

Let us keep following hard after our glorious Saviour! We are here on earth still and shall have much tribulation but may we be of good cheer as He has overcome the world! He is risen and given us this hope too! Press on sisters.

Love, mercy, and peace to you.

Today's Edification (28 November 2025)

Greetings sisters!

I hope this finds you doing well and striving on steadfastly and patiently in the faith. I am dropping in on a busy day here. I don't know how many sisters in Christ I have but it is nice to know there must be some all around the world shining their lights where God has them. I'm sure they are going about their duties as godly women with meek and quiet spirits too. No there are not many but all of God's children are precious to Him and we love our siblings in the faith.

Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:
1 Timothy 1:5

That is a good scripture to ponder. Yes we know Jesus Himself taught His disciples to love one another. And I am sure we can only have a good conscience when our sins are forgiven by His blood and we are not living in sin. And indeed we must believe in Him to be saved. And it cannot be feigned faith either. And true faith always shows itself in good works. It it a blessing to know all these things.

It does remind me of this scripture passage and where it talks about the remembrance of sin they had every year.

For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.

For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins.

But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year.

For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.

Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:

In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.

Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.

Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law;

Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.

By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:

But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;

From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.

For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

Hebrews 10:1-14

Praise God for the better covenant in Christ! We have much joy and thankfulness to know this way. Let us hold fast to it and not let it go. There are many enemies of our souls but let us fight on and commit the keeping of our souls to Him. He is faithful!

Strive on in all good things sisters! Love unto you.

Today's Edification (27 November 2025)

Hello again sisters!

Yes we do many of the same things each day and also many of the same things many times in a day, again and again. And so I am also back again to share in the Lord a little edifying today. So few want to live fully for the Lord and obey His truth. But even if totally alone we absolutely must remain faithful to Him alone. There is nothing worth losing our soul over and of course He is so worthy, it's sad if we went away from following and loving Him first. He alone is worthy to be worshipped and served. And it is by faith now, but one day we shall see Him in peace if we abide in Christ our Saviour.

Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.

Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

1 John 3:1-3

For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
Romans 8:18

Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.

Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,

Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.

2 Thessalonians 2:15-17

Our God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. We hope in this.

In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;
Titus 1:2

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
Galatians 6:9

So strive on my sisters wherever you are! The Lord sees and knows His own. Let us trust in Him and keep going about the duties He has given us to do.

Love to you in His name.

Today's Edification (26 November 2025)

Greetings sisters!

Our God is great and forever worthy to be praised! It is not hard to see His mercies and goodness in the things around us. Yes there are hard things but we remember where those come from when man sinned against God and the Lord fulfilled His promise that man would surely die if He sinned, and indeed He cursed the earth. And of course there is much of man's sins and the consequences of them in this world.

And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
Genesis 2:16-17

Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.

And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;

Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;

In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

Genesis 3:16-19

And indeed almost everyone was destroyed in the flood for their wickedness. But in His longsuffering and mercy the Lord is allowing mankind to live on. And He sent us a wonderful gift so we may find our way and escape His wrath.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

John 3:16-17

God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;

Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;

And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;

That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:

For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.

And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:

Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

Acts 17:24-31

Yes all are getting a chance to repent and choose Him. May we be humbled by His grace and longsuffering towards us. And now that we know the truth may we strive to walk worthy of Him. We have a high calling and standard to live up to indeed. May He help us. Hold fast sisters!

Love, mercy, and peace unto you.

Greetings sisters!

It is another day to press on in faith. We must just keep doing that! We know we will reap great rewards...if we don't faint! And our Lord is so worthy and good to keep living for! I hope your faith is strong and you're holding fast to truth!

Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
James 1:12

There are many precious promises for those who endure to the end aren't there.

And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
Matthew 24:12-13

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God...

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.

Revelation 2:7,17

There are, and will continue to be, many things to press through, physically and spiritually. But it surely will be worth it all.

And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

Revelation 21:3-7

Precious promises indeed. We know they are not unconditional though as no people who are practicing sin will enter the kingdom. But let us fully believe and trust in the Son of God to save us from our sins as we work with Him through His Spirit to crucify the deeds of the flesh.

For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

Romans 8:13-18

In Him there is so much hope! Let us abide in Him and His Word and doctrines of truth. Hold fast sisters! Love to you in our Lord and Saviour who first loved us.

Today's Edification (24 November 2025)

Greetings sister saints!

Here it is a new day of His mercies. And I am back again to share in the Lord too! We can do nothing without Him and "in him we live, and move, and have our being;". The day is another one of His patience and long suffering on the world, indeed of His mercies as He is sending rain and sunshine upon the earth. That is His goodness to mankind though man is being wicked against Him. It is a good example for us to follow of returning good for evil. And He even gave us His beloved Son when we were dead in our sins.

For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
Romans 5:6-9

This is such a precious gift to treasure with humble thankful hearts.

Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD. Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart. They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways. Thou hast commanded us to keep thy precepts diligently. O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes!
Psalm 119:1-5

With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments. Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.
Psalm 119:10-11

So may we keep seeking Him wholeheartedly and fighting against the enemies of our souls.

Hold fast sisters! Love and mercy unto you in Christ.

Today's Edification (23 November 2025)

Hello sisters!

I hope you're holding fast in the faith today. We must keep our eyes on the Lord in strong faith in such an evil deceiving time. It seems there is every alluring and distracting thing imaginable today and of course people can choose whatever group of so called believers' interpretations of the Word that they prefer. But most cannot endure the truth that changes not which has been once delivered to the saints in Christ and His chosen ones.

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
2 Timothy 4:3-4

Fables, the world is full of them. Let us love the truth and keep seeking it in His written Word.

But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;

And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

2 Timothy 3:13-17

May we keep our hearts and minds on Christ our holy Saviour and the hope we have through His death and resurrection.

If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable. But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.
1 Corinthians 15:19-20

For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.
2 Corinthians 5:14-15

For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.
Romans 14:9

Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
Romans 6:4-5

That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.
Philippians 3:10-11

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
1 Peter 1:3

He is the only way there is! It is a narrow way which few find. Let us diligently seek Him and His ways only. May we not let anything slip that we have heard but heed it earnestly. The punishment is very severe for those who do not heed God's only Son. May we be wise and fear Him and obey.

Love unto you in His name.

Greetings sister saints!

Here is one more day in the Lord! Mine has been really busy, so just a quick post today. I'm sure you understand those days! The Lord sees how we spend all of our time. We just want to please Him don't we and within that is being useful and helpful to others. We are to relieve the afflicted and such like too. But I also want to edify my sisters and ponder on Him more myself and sharing here helps with that too!

I was just thinking of some things that endure. Many of man's things are changing and also just physical things around us too but it's settling to know we can trust in the Lord and His truth. He is our Rock!

The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.
Psalm 18:2

For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.
Malachi 3:6

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
Hebrews 13:8

For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.
1 Peter 1:24-25

And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
1 John 2:17

Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
Matthew 7:24-25

We have great hope if we obey Him don't we sisters. It is hope of eternal life! Let us press on in the truth to obtain this!

Mercy, love, and peace unto you in our Saviour's name.

Greetings sisters!

I am back today sharing in the Lord. I hope you are doing well wherever you are which the Lord sees!

Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.
Philippians 4:4

A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.
Proverbs 17:22

A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance: but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken.
Proverbs 15:13

From the Lord comes our joy! Yes there is definitely a place for sorrow but to have joy is a true blessing.

Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.
Romans 12:15

There shall always be trials and hard things on this earth but they shall all be wiped away if we endure faithful!

Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.
Romans 12:16

I was just pondering that scripture and how we want to care about those of 'low estate'. We ourselves are to be meek and humble and indeed we are nothing before the Lord.

Hold fast sisters! Keep labouring diligently in your duties! Love unto you in His name.

Hello again sisters!

Just dropping in briefly on a really busy day here. But through all things the Lord is there and He is our refuge and strength to go to to help us keep pressing on!

The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him. The LORD is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed.
Psalm 28:7-8

But the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD: he is their strength in the time of trouble.
Psalm 37:39

I will go in the strength of the Lord GOD: I will make mention of thy righteousness, even of thine only.
Psalm 71:16

Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD.
Psalm 31:24

The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace.
Psalm 29:11

Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.
Psalm 27:14

So yes let us go forth in His strength and joy! Love unto you! Let's not grow weary in any well doing!

Peace be to the brethren, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen.

Hello again sisters!

God granted life another day in His mercy and many blessings in the day! It is good to get our mind set on Him and seeking Him first. There may be many things to do in a day but through it all there is only one thing needful and that is the Lord and eternal things. Just reminds me of Martha who was too anxious about getting things right in serving.

Now it came to pass, as they went, that he entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house.

And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus' feet, and heard his word.

But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me.

And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things:

But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.

Luke 10:38-42

Let us keep everything in the right perspective. Yes it is good to serve as Jesus said so and showed us that Himself in His life but it shouldn't get out of place and be more important than things that truly matter.

I will love thee, O LORD, my strength.

The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.

I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.

Psalm 18:1-3

May our Lord be our first love always. And we know we do that by being careful to obey Him. We are thankful for all His goodness to us and what our Saviour did for us. As we know we cannot serve two masters and we cannot love God and the world at the same time.

Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

1 John 2:15-17

May we do the will of God with His help, sisters. So strive on and hold fast. Love unto you in His name.

Today's Edification (18 November 2025)

Greetings sisters!

I hope you're holding fast and doing well today. It's another day to drop back in and share in the Lord our great God!

O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;

To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary.

Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee.

Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.

My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips:

When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches.

Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.

My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me.

Psalm 63:1-8

Yes He is whom we seek and love. May we be careful to not let anything get in the way of us doing that. He is the only one and true living God and there's so many so called gods and of course more subtle forms of 'gods' that people devote their lives to in this world like riches and pleasures and such.

May the Lord be our joy and He is indeed sufficient for us. Without Him we do not even exist of course, but if we do not believe and follow Him, we are most hopeless, lost and destined for judgment.

Our God is good! May we go forth in our days rejoicing in hope! Though we do not deserve anything good He is merciful, loving, and gracious. May we have thankful humble hearts before Him and fear to despise His goodness and sin, lest we fall from His grace.

But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
James 4:6

Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
Hebrews 4:16

For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

Titus 2:11-14

How thankful we are also for His Word to guide us through this life! We have been told what is acceptable to Him and what is not.

Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.

Be not ye therefore partakers with them.

For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:

(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)

Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.

And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

Ephesians 5:6-11

For we do have a high calling and standard to live up to to walk worthy of His holy name.

And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment;

That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ;

Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.

Philippians 1:9-11

May His Word guide us with the truth through these evil times of deception and sin. Hold fast to Him where you are sisters! His return draws nearer! Mercy and love unto you.
