Today's Edification (23 December 2025)

Greetings sister saints!

This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope.

It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.

They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.

The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.

It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.

Lamentations 3:21-26

This is such a beautiful scripture. And we know it comes from a writing that is one of great sorrow but through all things God is good and there is hope in Him if we seek Him. No, there is nothing but wrath and judgment coming on those who do not believe and seek Him but His mercies are over people now in giving everyone space to repent. Praise God we know this truth and only way of salvation through Christ Jesus!

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Acts 4:12

And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:

That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

John 3:14-21

He is a wonderful Saviour! May we stay close to Him and keep fighting the good fight of faith.

Who, when he came, and had seen the grace of God, was glad, and exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart they would cleave unto the Lord.
Acts 11:23
Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.
Acts 14:22

Hold fast sisters. Love, mercy, and peace unto you in His name.

Today's Edification (22 December 2025)

Hello again sisters!

The Lord has granted this world another day in His mercy and long suffering. And each of us too He has given a new day and we will choose to serve Him with joy in it! We only need to think of all He has done for us to be filled with thankfulness and hope!

I'm sharing a selection of scriptures here, many of which speak of Christ and what He accomplished in His death and what it means to us.

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
2 Corinthians 5:17

But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.

And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.

Galatians 6:14-16

And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.

For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?

For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels.

Luke 9:23-26

But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.

For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;

Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;

And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:

And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.

Ephesians 2:13-17

And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled

In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:

If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;

Colossians 1:20-23

And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
Colossians 2:13-14

Praise God for His love, grace, mercy, and forgiveness and everything else! So may we strive to walk worthy of Him and diligently seek to walk in His ways. Yes we know He taught us that to love Him and others is the basis of all we should do. May we keep seeking to be doers of the Word and not hearers only. May we continue in the fear of the Lord and be ready for His coming and judgment.

Love to my sisters around the world.

Hello sisters!

I hope your day is going well wherever you are. Mine was busy again with cooking and cleaning and other daily life things. But it is a blessing to have good and useful things to keep ourselves occupied in.

Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
Psalm 103:1-2

I wanted to read some scriptures on 'blessed'. A sister shared them with me and I was encouraged by them so thought I would read them here.

Hope they blessed you too! May we keep seeking diligently after His ways! Our redemption draws nearer so let us be ready and watching.

Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them. And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants.
Luke 12:37-38

Love, mercy, and peace to you in the faith.

Today's Edification (20 December 2025)

Hello sisters!

The glory be to our great God that we can share again in the faith. We have a wonderful Saviour and so much hope in Him. So I am back because He is good.

It is a good thing to do, to keep that which is truly important in our minds. There are a lot of physical things and duties we need to attend to and work with but the eternal things are not seen and are of utmost importance. God and our souls and their destination is what we need to be about. It is foolish to get caught up in physical things that we end up losing our souls. As the Word says, today is the day of salvation, harden not your hearts. We do not know when we will not have a physical body anymore and our soul will go on. And we know there are only two destinations. It's just such a sobering thought and we need to make sure we are right with God. We also know many will be sent away, even many who called Him Lord. The five foolish virgins were also not prepared so were barred entrance. We know all shall be judged according to their works. Yes, so may we ponder our lives and continue to do so.

Here I am sharing a few scriptures to edify us.

For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.
James 3:2

Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.
Colossians 4:6

It just reminds me of being in control of ourselves too with one of the fruits of the Spirit also being temperance (self control).

He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.
Proverbs 16:32

He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls.
Proverbs 25:28

A fool uttereth all his mind: but a wise man keepeth it in till afterwards.
Proverbs 29:11

Seest thou a man that is hasty in his words? there is more hope of a fool than of him.
Proverbs 29:20

Good to keep things in our hearts and ponder them like Mary did and be slow to speak.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
Galatians 5:22-24

It is good to keep bringing His ways to our remembrance! May we keep loving Him and being obedient. Hold fast to Christ sisters! Love and peace to you in the faith.

Today's Edification (19 December 2025)

Greetings sisters!

Good day to you, and I hope your faith is strong in our wonderful Saviour! We walk by faith and not by sight. We live as though we do see Him though, as we are fully persuaded of all that has been told us of Him.

Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
1 Peter 1:8-9

We want to be living as His faithful servants while we are absent from Him and see not our Master. We know He surely sees us though!

Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:

(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)

We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

2 Corinthians 5:6-10

We want to be doing what He wants of us and be eligible to be praised as faithful servants having done well.

Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
Luke 12:43

So keep pressing on in good things sisters! We will reap in due time, if we faint not.

Love to you in the Lord who first loved us.

Today's Edification (18 December 2025)

Hello again sisters!

Hope you're all striving on for the Lord with a pure heart for Him. In His grace and mercy, I am back again to share some edifying. Every day there is hope for all people to choose Him and repent. And we have hope and assurance as we rest in Him and keep fighting the good fight of faith.

Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.
Hebrews 4:1

Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.

If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.

John 15:8-10

Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
Philippians 2:12-13

And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled

In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:

If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;

Colossians 1:21-23

Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;

And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;

And did all eat the same spiritual meat;

And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.

But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness.

Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.

Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.

Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand.

Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents.

Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.

Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.

Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.

1 Corinthians 10:1-12

That is all some good encouragement for us to keep cleaving to the Lord by faith and being obedient lest we be cut off like the unfruitful branch of the vine. God is good to have warned us and given us examples, including Ananias and Sapphira in more recent times. So may we press on and not grow weary in any good work or our faith! We have a wonderful Saviour! May He save us.

Love to you in His name.

Today's Edification (17 December 2025)

Greetings sisters!

Here's another day to continue to press on in the faith and all good things without growing weary! We must endure to the end to be saved! May we keep our eyes on the Lord and be encouraged in His goodness!

The Lord is the source of all knowledge and understanding that we need through this life. May we feed on His Word and live!

My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee;

So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding;

Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding;

If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures;

Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.

For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.

He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly.

He keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of his saints.

Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment, and equity; yea, every good path.

When wisdom entereth into thine heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul;

Discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee:

To deliver thee from the way of the evil man, from the man that speaketh froward things;

Proverbs 2:1-12

This is the wisdom we need and not all the worldly wisdom. This will get us to eternal life. Jesus is the one and only way! And we must come His way and not try to 'climb up some other way'.

Hold fast to the Word of truth sisters! Love, mercy, and peace unto you in Christ our Lord!

Greetings sisters!

Hopefully you're doing well especially in the faith. I am back again, as the Lord has allowed, to share some edifying in the faith. In fact, let's share some scriptures about building up, growing up, and edifying which are all very similar and good to ponder. It's just encouraging as there is so much hope in the Lord. We are looking ahead and the focus is above. So we press on and must keep fighting on and being on guard against enemies of our souls.

But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
Jude 1:20-21

And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.
Acts 20:32

Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
Ephesians 4:29

As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.
1 Peter 2:2-3

How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying.
1 Corinthians 14:26

That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
Ephesians 4:14-15

But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.
2 Peter 3:18
That is all good encouragement for us to keep pressing on isn't it! There is so much that may be discouraging on this earth and yes the world is so lost and hopeless outside of Christ. But we can rejoice in hope and keep seeking to do better and grow in the Lord. He is worthy of so much. With His help, we can only do what pleases Him. So strive on where you are sisters. Love and peace unto you in Jesus' name.

Today's Edification (15 December 2025)

Greetings sisters!

I hope you're doing well in the faith today. I have had a busy one of work.

I was listening to scripture yesterday and it stood out to me how three times it talked about us being quiet.

For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat. For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies. Now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread. But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing.
2 Thessalonians 3:10-13

And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you; That ye may walk honestly toward them that are without, and that ye may have lack of nothing.
1 Thessalonians 4:11-12

I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
1 Timothy 2:1-2

And I know we focus on the 1 Peter verse for women being quiet but it is not just for women obviously. Sometimes thinking of the opposite can help us understand what it is. As one of those scriptures mention, busybodies. We know there's people who do that, spending their time tearing others down and meddling in things they shouldn't and being trouble makers. It also is used in relation to work as well and not being idle. If you're working hard in good things...well it just goes along with being quiet as the work takes our focus.

It reminds me of scriptures on peace too, of which it is abundantly clear that is what we should pursue.

Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
Hebrews 12:14
If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
Romans 12:18
Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
Matthew 5:9
May we be obedient to the Lord's commands in this also. His ways are good. Reminds me of how we are to be meek and gentle as well. There is a lot to ponder on what God wants from us. Yes we have to be strong in the faith and fight through spiritually but these are just some of the ways of obedience the Lord has for us in that.

Hold fast to the truth sisters and keep being lights in this dark world!

Mercy and love unto you in His name.

Hello sisters!

I'm back again as the Lord allowed to encourage us all to keep pressing on for the Lord and His truth and holy ways!

That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;

That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,

May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;

And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

Ephesians 3:16-19

That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;

Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:

Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

Colossians 1:10-14

In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.
Psalm 138:3

I will go in the strength of the Lord GOD: I will make mention of thy righteousness, even of thine only.
Psalm 71:16

May we be strengthened in the Lord and in serving Him by faith in these faithless times. The joy of the Lord is our strength! No matter what, He is our joy for all His goodness and wonderful works He has done!

And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.
1 John 1:4

I'm thankful for all that is written of His love and grace and mercy and forgiveness for us!

These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
John 15:11

The Lord fill you with joy and peace in believing sisters. Hold fast and keep strong in the faith! Love and mercy unto you.

Greetings sisters!

But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,

Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Not of works, lest any man should boast.

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Ephesians 2:4-10

This is joy and encouragement for our day remembering all His goodness to us! It is His precious gift as we were hopelessly lost in our sins. He alone can receive the praise and glory for all His wonderful works! And we can go forth in our days with hope and joy and peace striving to walk worthy of His grace and not take it lightly lest we fall from His favour.

Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.

For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel.

For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will.

For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:

That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.

For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;

And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man.

Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,

And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

John 5:19-29

May we hear and follow Him abiding in His love by keeping His Word. We want to be ready at all times and faithful servants occupying in good things until He comes. So strive on in all the Lord has for you where you are sisters! My love to you in His name.

Today's Edification (12 December 2025)

Hello sisters!

I trust you're holding fast in the faith and fighting off all 'enemies' with the spiritual armour God gave us such as faith, truth, righteousness, and the Word of God and more!

Here's a scripture that all of us women can learn from. Just good to refresh in these things of what is valuable and pleasing to God.

Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives;

While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear.

Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel;

But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.

For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands:

Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement.

1 Peter 3:1-6

Let us be correctly adorned sisters!

In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array; But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.
1 Timothy 2:9-10

May our adorning be meek and quiet spirits and good works and not all the external 'beauty' which is fleeting and vain.

Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.
Proverbs 31:30-31

The Proverbs 31 woman was indeed diligent and hard working in her duties. We can be encouraged to keep going in ours too!

Strive on in all good things sisters! Love to you in the Lord.

Hello again sisters!

I am back on another day God granted in His mercy and longsuffering. Hopefully you're following hard after the Lord and keeping your heart with all diligence wherever He has called you. We must take our faith seriously.

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
1 Peter 5:8-9

I was just thinking how it's that time of year too that you need to be ready to give an answer as to why you don't observe Christmas. No we don't always get the chance to explain, other than to say you don't do it but you never know. In short, these are a few reasons I have in no particular order.

*Its dark origins.

*God didn't tell us to do it.

*The date is not Christ's birthdate and the Word does not promote celebrating birthdays as the world does anyway.

*God's ways are truth and there's a lot of lies associated with this day.

*The focus in the Word is on Christ's death and resurrection.

*We do not participate in the pagan and ungodly ways of the world.

*It is materialistic, and often involves gluttony and drunkenness.

Those are some reasons that came to mind though I am sure there's more. Of course the world does what it does and we do not judge them, but those who believe need to test things and know God is holy and of the truth. We must fear Him. Oh yes indeed every day we should be filled with joy that He came! I do not demean the wonderful act of love God showed the world in sending us His best. This deserves 365 days of remembrance and thankfulness and not just one. People do seem to think that if you don't celebrate Christmas you don't celebrate Jesus being born but it is not true. But we live to please God and not man. We repent of ways that do not please Him.

It does remind me too, how God will not be mocked. People say they are celebrating Jesus but they don't care about Him the rest of the year nor on that day for that matter. They don't love Him. They don't obey Him. This scripture comes to mind and we don't want to do that.

Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devil's. Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than he?

1 Corinthians 10:21-22

We know paganism is of the devil and not of God. We know idolatry does not please Him in any way.

So let us sisters make sure we live pleasing to God no matter what and continue to walk humbly before the Lord and see if there's anything else we do that doesn't please Him. Yes this subject is important but there are many other areas to make sure we are obedient in like doing good to those who do evil, not being a false accuser, not hypocritical, being patient and self controlled, letting people steal our things etc, and many other things. In the hardest things, we must obey Him not just the easy things. May He help us!

Hold fast sisters. Love and mercy to you in His name.

Today's Edification (10 December 2025)

Greetings sisters!

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,

Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:

That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:

Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:

Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

1 Peter 1:3-9

There's a lot of beautiful encouragement in the Word for us. He is our hope and peace and joy.

Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.
Romans 15:13

But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.
Luke 11:28

But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
James 1:25

His Word says it best.

Strive on my sisters! Love to you in the faith of Christ.

Today's Edification (9 December 2025)

Greetings sisters!

Hope you're holding on faithfully wherever you are!

I was reading this scripture and it's good to ponder how the Lord wants us to be.

Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.

For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.

And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.

1 Corinthians 3:18-20

It's just good to know we can lead a simple life in this world, physically. And we want to be truly wise by fearing God and having His knowledge of salvation and ways.

It reminds me too how God's children are to be humble, meek, gentle, pure, self-controlled, and many such things including having quiet spirits for us as His daughters which is of great price to God.

We do know Christ's death is foolishness to the world but to us it is our only hope and joy! Faith is not something that the world can really understand as they want to see and feel. We must come to the Lord and His kingdom like a child.

I am reminded of this section of the Word...

Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.

And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved?

But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

Matthew 19:23-26

There is much in this world that blinds people's hearts. It is what the flesh wants, to be satisfied immediately. But we are living for the next life which will be immeasurably and incomparably better and we deny ourselves things here of that which isn't pleasing to the Lord. So let us keep on for our Lord, being content with food and raiment and living thankful lives for all His extra blessings and goodness.

Love, peace, and mercy unto you. Strive on sisters!
