Greetings in Christ!

I'm back again here to edify you sisters one more day! I hope yours went well. Or will go well depending on when you get this.

I love this scripture!

"By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter;

Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;

Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward."

Hebrews 11:24-26

Our faith in Christ indeed has much depth to it.

And that scripture just reminded me of this one that Paul wrote about his past.

"But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.

Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,

And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;

If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.

Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.

Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you."

Philippians 3:7-15

Saw this beautiful double rainbow out of my room window...

The Lord's promises are true!

Tea tonight along with coleslaw and pumpkin soup...

Just some quick Titus 2:-)

"And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful."

Colossians 3:14-15

And I share a scripture picture from a sister...

So that is some simple edification from me to you today.

Strive on sister soldier saints!

" Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses."

Running the Race...

Greetings sisters!

I hope you are doing well.

I'm back here again after a busy day.

I had to go on another trip into town for gas and I was able to give the friendly woman behind the counter a gospel card (and also pin one on a bulletin board in a store).

And I also had to do a little bit of grocery shopping...

Thank you sister for sending these encouraging scripture pictures...

A sister and I were messaging and I commented that I needed to think of something to make for tea with tuna...so she suggested tuna patties. And that's what I made:-)

And as I was cooking them, a family member was telling me about where the marathon race got it's name. I didn't care to hear such things but I commented about what Paul wrote about the spiritual race of this life we are to run. And it's exactly what this Christian life is; it's a hard race and not an easy relax in a church pew as sadly most seem to believe.

"Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds."
Hebrews 12:1-3

"Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.

And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.

I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air:

But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway."

1 Corinthians 9:24-27

A sister and I were edifying and encouraging one another...

Exactly. Where are we promised an easy life? No where!

As Paul taught...

"Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God."

Acts 14:22

But we can have peace and joy and the Lord will give us strength in it all.

Let us sisters edify one another the best we can...until this race is over and we can rest from our labours with the Father.

And here's a flower for you sisters who love the Lord and are running the race in faith and obedience...

Lord willing I shall be back again tomorrow to help cheer you on in this spiritual race!

"And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end: That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises."

Hebrews 6:11-12

Love to you in Christ,

22 June 2021

Greetings sisters!

How are you today?

Let us look to the Lord for all we need!

Today I come with a simple post to edify you.

I bring some edification from scripture...

"For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;

Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:

Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;

And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled

In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:

If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;"

Colossians 1:9-23

What an edifying and encouraging scripture!

And I share some peace from God's creation.

A little bit of a walk through the trees...

And I saw a few monarch butterfly caterpillars...

Amazing creations!

And for some Titus 2, I share tea tonight...

And I share some scriptures I added to pictures a sister sent...

One more day is passed and if the Lord wills we shall have another one tomorrow. And so I may be back then! Strive on sisters!

"Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour."

Ephesians 5:1-2

Scripture, Creation, & Keeper at Home

Good day sisters!

"Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love."

2 John 1:3

Here I am back again another day! I hope your day went well and you stood strong and faithful to the Lord.

My post today has turned into an assortment of pictures, videos, and scriptures mainly. Whatever it is, I hope you can be edified.

And to God be the glory!

In our lives as godly women let us rejoice to be living this life we are called to in the Lord!

I enjoyed a bright, beautiful, and sunshiny morning.

There's something so refreshing about mornings.

But they are not as refreshing as God's Word! His Word refreshes and uplifts us.

"O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;

To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary.

Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee.

Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.

My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips:

When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches.

Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.

My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me."

Psalm 63:1-8

And fellowshipping with the saints is refreshing too.

So maybe if we combine all those things I mentioned, together, a beautiful morning (His creation), God's Word, and fellowshipping with a sister, it would be very refreshing!

Wait...speaking of I just remembered that I sometimes do just that! And I had a picture from this morning. No I didn't sit out in God's creation but I've shared before about the blessings of sisters edifying and encouraging one another in the Lord. And a sister and I get to do that...share the Word and fellowship in Him and share our lives! What a blessing and how refreshing in a wicked world!

Like this....

I liked seeing these cute tiny seeds sprouting...

And pretty little flowers blowing in the wind...

More pretty flowers...

Chickens hungry for grass...

Two cute crested pigeons...

His creations just going about doing what they were created to do. Let us sisters do the same!

"Unless the Lord had been my help, my soul had almost dwelt in silence.

When I said, My foot slippeth; thy mercy, O Lord, held me up.

In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul."
Psalm 94:17-19

And again I was appreciating the pretty dew droplets sparkling in the sunshine. That's amazing how water out of the air on cold nights does that! Another creation of our great God!

May we marvel at His creation and give the Creator the glory He is due!

"Glory and honour are in his presence; strength and gladness are in his place.

Give unto the Lord, ye kindreds of the people, give unto the Lord glory and strength.

Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.

Fear before him, all the earth: the world also shall be stable, that it be not moved.

Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice: and let men say among the nations, The Lord reigneth.

Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof: let the fields rejoice, and all that is therein.

Then shall the trees of the wood sing out at the presence of the Lord, because he cometh to judge the earth.

O give thanks unto the Lord ; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever."
1 Chronicles 16:27-34

Amen!

It is supposed to rain ☔ again soon here so I got a lot of washing done and hung out to dry in God's sunshine and breeze ☀⛅.

And did a bit of cleaning mold off a window. I like using straight vinegar for most all kinds of cleaning...

And for tea I used up several things that needed using...

And made a stir fry...

I mixed up some home made hot chocolate mix...

It's still in the 'trial phase' to see what's the best ratio of everything though. But it's yum!

And washing dishes...again...

And I'm sure you sisters wash dishes often too! So you might like to see another sister doing it! Such a simple (not always quick and easy:-) thing we Titus 2 keeper at home women do! Let us be joyous and grateful to do such things.

A sister sent me these...

(Thank you sister!)

OK I will leave it there sisters! I hope your day is joyous and fruitful in Christ. Lord willing...I shall be back writing and sharing with you all tomorrow.

"Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless."

2 Peter 3:13-14

Freedom From Bondage

Greetings sisters!

Let us rejoice in this day the Lord has made! We have such a blessed life to live as daughters of the Most High God! Let us treasure this life we have been called too and be careful with it.

"Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.

But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;"

Hebrews 3:12-14

What a great Saviour we have indeed! What priceless treasure the gospel to eternal life is for us and it is available to all who will seek it with their whole heart and life. It has changed our lives and we serve a mighty risen Saviour!

Amen! And in Christ we sisters can be free from sin and false ways which brings the world and many claimed believers into bondage to sin.

(And some of these things we are set free from are things like Christmas, Easter, Mother's/Father's Day, Birthdays, "the Lord's Day", worldly and unbiblical weddings, funerals and much more.)

We have been set free from covetousness/idolatry in competitions and idle things, from music, from pride and vanity in our looks and how we dressed and adorned ourselves. Instead we clothe ourselves biblically

There's so much more of course. And those in bondage don't see it because they are blinded but let us shine our light and point others to the truth by our obedient life and in our standing on the Lord's truth and holy ways.

And not to mention the freedom from the other sins that the scriptures speak of...

"Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these ; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God."

Galatians 5:19-21

We sisters have been freed from our past lives and made new by the Spirit!

"No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon."

Matthew 6:24

And we want to serve such a great God! He sent His Son to make a way for us to be delivered from death and hell!

"We love him, because he first loved us."

1 John 4:19

And we love to study His Word to see what He wants of us. We know that loving God is obeying Him.

So many look at us and think we sisters are in bondage. They see how we are to be quiet, keepers at home or helpers and submissive to husbands and the authority of man, or how we dress biblically to cover our bodies and heads.

"Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve."

Matthew 4:10

Amen let us serve this great God only who has sent His Son to die to set us free!!!

"If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed."

John 8:36

We are not in bondage to our own ways and we fight against our flesh. We can overcome in Him!

"For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:

(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)

Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;"

2 Corinthians 10:3-5

Let us trust in the Lord in this life sisters. May we look to Him for strength and wisdom. As we battle against the flesh and trials and tribulations we face, may we seek the Lord and His power in it all. As a sister shared today...

And instead of seeking after all the world's empty and foolish entertainment which we have been freed from, we see the beauty of God's creation and give Him all the glory for it.

(Thank you sister for adding the scripture to some creation I was enjoying today:-)

I like seeing the little tiny creations too!

"The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.

He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever.

He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.

For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.

As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him.

For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.

As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.

For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more.

But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children;

To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them."

Psalm 103:8-18

And a sunset from the end of my day...

OK sisters! I shall leave it there. We are all one day closer to eternity!

Let us hold fast sister soldiers!

" Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:"

Hebrews 10:23-24

Love in Christ,

19 June 2021

Greetings sisters!

One more day to write and encourage you here in the Lord. I hope you are all going well in the Lord.

I share a scripture...

"What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.

Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.

Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.

I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.

For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.

What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.

But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

Romans 6:15-23

Praise God for setting us free from sin! Let us sisters serve Him!

And I share a few simple pictures from my day.

Washed dishes...

and...

Cooked a meal...

Fellowshipped with a sister for several hours...

Praise God for sisters who love the Lord. It's a true blessing when we can edify and encourage one another in the things of God in our lives as godly women going about our duties.

And I share some scripture pictures she sent me...

Praise the Lord for His Word and His creation. And that we can share them together as sisters. We all have so much in the Lord. May we serve Him with thankful hearts!

Well I shall go for now and Lord willing be back tomorrow.

" But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life."

Jude 1:20-21

Love, peace, and joy,
