Today's Encouragement (26 March 2023)

Greetings sisters!

God blessed us with another day...I'm back writing and edifying and you may be back reading and being edified! It's another day to choose Him and His ways over our flesh or the world's ways! Let's keep striving in this even if so very few are and even if we find ourselves alone one day. It's the Lord we are living for and we believe He is all He has said He is in His Word and will do all He has said and promised. Hope you're all striving on and your Titus 2 works are going well.

Thankful for His Word.

I'm sharing a few more scriptures to edify from my study on fear in His Word...

O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!
Deuteronomy 5:29

And now, Israel, what doth the Lord thy God require of thee, but to fear the Lord thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul, To keep the commandments of the Lord, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good?
Deuteronomy 10:12-13

And I know I will find we are to fear Him in the NT too so it's not something that has gone away for us today.

And I thought this one was an interesting one also.

And the officers shall speak further unto the people, and they shall say, What man is there that is fearful and fainthearted? let him go and return unto his house, lest his brethren's heart faint as well as his heart.
Deuteronomy 20:8

And today we are in a spiritual battle are we not and so we don't want to be hanging out with fearful 'soldiers' in this very important battle of eternal life or death, right sisters?!

(Thank you sisters for that picture...one for the picture and one for the scripture added:-) That scripture reminds me that we have business to do for the Lord and we don't want to get sidetracked do we. We too are passing through this land as strangers and pilgrims so we don't want to be caught up in any allurement of the world do we sisters.

Reminds me of this one too..

No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.

2 Timothy 2:4

Yep we've got important work to do so let's keep our mind on the task at hand and keep setting our faces like flint and marching on to please the One who has called us as we seek His kingdom and righteousness first!

Today's Encouragement (25 March 2023)

Greetings sisters!

Coming to you today in the name of our Lord and on His side in His truth! How are you going there where God has you?!

Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth.
Psalm 124:8

New scripture reading for my sisters...

Praise God for His Word and knowing how He wants us to live. There's a lot of good in that scripture of course but I was thinking about where it says envying and strife come from vs the opposite which is good things from God. We sisters want to be selfless, humble, and living at peace as much as we can.

And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.
Luke 4:4

His Word is so important isn't it sisters. Let us strive to live by it all and not pick and choose what we like or take any of it lightly. We also know that the enemy knows the scriptures very well so we must live by it all not take bits out like he does. Hold fast sisters! And I'm so glad we also have many specific commands for us as women striving to live godly. Thankful to know how to live in this dark and confused and sad world with people with no hope. But we have hope and we try to offer it to the world even though most don't want it as the cost is so high...but we know how precious it is.

Hope all your Titus 2 works go well for you today. Strive on no matter what sisters as good soldiers enduring hardness.

Today's Encouragement (24 March 2023)

Hello sisters!

Hope you're doing great in the Lord on this day!

Thank you sister for sharing that scripture picture. God's paths are so good aren't they sisters.

He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Psalm 23:3

Make me to go in the path of thy commandments; for therein do I delight.
Psalm 119:35

His Word is so good. We know we live by it all and are so blessed to have it.

Thankful for such things.

Hope your labours unto the Lord are going well sisters. My day has been a busy one with house work mostly...

Today's Encouragement (23 March 2023)

Greetings sisters!

I come to you in His love! Hope all is well in your day and life!

Those spring flowers a sister shared are so pretty and I'm sure a welcome sight after winter. Amazing the opposite seasons in the north and south and they keep changing over year after year while the earth remains. Glory to the Creator of it all!

I'm doing my own personal study on fear in the scriptures. I know I will see much about fearing God and not fearing circumstances. But it's awesome to study particular subjects to get a greater biblical perspective in things.

I share this scripture for one example...

And Moses said unto the people, Fear not: for God is come to prove you, and that his fear may be before your faces, that ye sin not.
Exodus 20:20

Yeah...the fear of God leads us away from sin doesn't it sisters?! Amen it does.

Flock of pelicans in flight...

Amazing that such big birds can fly. Yet I guess it's not in a way because nothing is impossible with God! But all such things are just a testimony to Him throughout the whole world.

I've had a busy Titus 2 day. I'd share a meal I cooked if I could...

Thankful for many things, we sisters are!

Today's Encouragement (22 March 2023)

Greetings sisters who love the Lord!

Wherever you are on this huge earth...I hope you're doing well in the Lord!

I'm glad to know what is good and what we are to do...

He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?
Micah 6:8

Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;
Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
Colossians 3:12-15

How awesome are God's ways! They work so well when followed but we know humans cause all kinds of issues when they rebel. We want to walk in them all and we do the best we can and the Lord helps us.

Garden blessings...

I'm sure you all appreciate seeing the things God grows from the ground. I know my sisters are diligent in providing food for their households and no matter where you 'harvest' the food from it's all a blessing to keep us going in the Lord's work!

Let's keep abiding in Christ our vine sisters! Without Him we are like a dead branch ready to be burned.

I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

Today's Encouragement (21 March 2023)

Greetings sisters!

Hope you're all doing well on this day we will never get again! My day was busy but if we're striving on in the Lord it's a good day no matter what! We always have various little trials or challenges to deal with don't we! Or big ones but it's our reasonable service and we need to handle them all with patience and peace still don't we.

Cute baby lizard in the garden...

The Creator made so very many different unique creatures didn't He! It's hard to fathom them all and we can't even know everything of course!

Saw this cute new baby duck sitting next to chicken 'mum'...

God made the birds to sit patiently for several weeks to hatch their eggs. I think I shared about that one time before here how not only do we humans have to work hard the animals do too like when watching the parent birds always feeding their hungry babies and searching hard to find them food. We know the Word often uses nature to teach us lessons too.

I was washing evening dishes and wondering what to post to edify my sisters today and I thought of this scripture about where it says a little folly in the person that is considered wise is not a good thing...

Dead flies cause the ointment of the apothecary to send forth a stinking savour: so doth a little folly him that is in reputation for wisdom and honour.
Ecclesiastes 10:1

We all have a responsibility as bearers of Christ's name to not bring reproach on His name. And also people sure are watching us (for various reasons and just because they see what we do even if they aren't specifically watching us for any particular reason). I think of them watching Jesus trying to entangle Him in His talk. So I share these scriptures for interest and edifying.

Then went the Pharisees, and took counsel how they might entangle him in his talk.
Matthew 22:15

And they watched him, whether he would heal him on the sabbath day; that they might accuse him.
Mark 3:2

And they watched him, and sent forth spies, which should feign themselves just men, that they might take hold of his words, that so they might deliver him unto the power and authority of the governor.
Luke 20:20

Of course being perfect they wouldn't have had anything to find with Jesus even though they tried but with us we also need to make sure all we do is blameless...for His glory. And if not just like that verse in Proverbs it's not a good thing when we may fail. But we keep being diligent and striving our best and God knows our hearts doesn't He sisters.

His Word is so good and strengthening.

Do all things without murmurings and disputings: That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;
Philippians 2:14-15

What we do does matter amen sisters. God is watching and knows everything we do but also the world and other saints are watching also! Let us be good examples and also keeping humble knowing that we are capable of failing even though we sure don't want to. I greatly appreciate my sisters who are fervent for the Lord and zealous to not bring reproach upon His holy name and willing to be changed to be more like Him!

Hold fast sisters and keep striving on faithfully...no matter what!

Today's Encouragement (20 March 2023)

Greetings sisters!

Hope your day is going well in the Lord and you're striving on no matter what! My day has been busy in housework and such but it's almost over so I'm coming back here to edify my sisters best I can.

Read this scripture this morning and thought about that phrase 'adorning the doctrine of God'.

Exhort servants to be obedient unto their own masters, and to please them well in all things; not answering again;
Not purloining, but shewing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things.
Titus 2:9-10

And in one way or another us godly women are servants, not in the way they had them back then but still we can learn from and use the commands for servants in His Word to know how we too ought to live like too. We know serving is one of the greatest things isn't it as Jesus Himself our Lord and Master served and gave us an example for us to follow and it comes from love doesn't it.

But so shall it not be among you: but whosoever will be great among you, shall be your minister:
And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all.
For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
Mark 10:43-45

Today's Encouragement (19 March 2023)

Hello again sister saints!

Here's another day to serve our mighty and holy one true God! We're so blessed with the opportunity to do so!

And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
John 17:3

Garden blessings on the way...

God grows food for mankind from the ground. And we too were created from the ground and return to dust don't we. Amazing all that! Glory to Him!

That's with all of us isn't it. He is worthy. And we know to love Him is to obey Him amen sisters?!

We have sacrifices to make today still! We're so thankful to Him for all He has done and the hope to come.

Today's Encouragement (18 March 2023)

Greetings sisters!

We got given one more day to serve the Lord! What a blessing that is! Let's keep treasuring all we have!

Gospel going out with a sewing order...

It's His precious good news of how we can find eternal life and escape the destruction under God's wrath that we deserve because of sin. It's such a treasure and we sisters know we wouldn't give it up for anything but cling to it and know it's like the man who sells all he has to buy a field with treasures in!

Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.

Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls:

Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.
Matthew 13:44-46

Another scripture reading to edify...

Hope you're strong in the faith sisters in this faithless and deceived generation. We know our faith has to be strong and is so important.

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Hebrews 11:6

(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
2 Corinthians 5:7

Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

Hold fast faithful sisters and keep pressing on in Him through all things! One day we shall be gathered home with Him if we overcome and will receive our reward! Strive on soldiers!

Today's Encouragement (17 March 2023)

Greetings sisters!

One more day He gave us to choose Him! What a blessing to have the hope and His mercy and goodness to be able to follow Him. He is a good God and we don't deserve what He has done for us.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
Psalm 23:6

Beautiful still day on the river in my travels home...

And a pretty sunset too...

And then the blessing of rest after a busy day. But for now I'm here edifying my sisters:-) hope you're all going well few though you may be! The mighty God is on our side and greater than all things!

Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
1 John 4:4

The Lord is pleased in our hard works and minding our own business and we know we are to live at peace with all as much as we can although we know the world will also hate us if we live godly as we ought.

Hello godly sisters!

One more day we have to live for the Lord! What better thing to do than that right?! He is so worthy! Glory to His holy name! Let us daughters of His be zealous for Him and His holy ways...hating all false ways and sins.

Today's Encouragement (15 March 2023)

Greetings sisters!

How are you on this new day? Even though I may not be able to hear your answer ☺, I hope you're well in the faith and holding fast to the Lord!

I was thinking about how we sisters are to be givers...of many different good things. It could be time, help, resources, and many more things which really would or should come from giving love. It is the opposite of selfishness really isn't it which wants to keep and heap up comforts and fleshly pleasures etc for one's self or do what we want to do. I wanted to share these scriptures to edify and encourage on that concept.

I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.
Acts 20:35

And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.
Matthew 10:7-8

Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
2 Corinthians 9:7

Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.
Philippians 4:17

Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.

Himself! And we give our lives for Him and so let us willing give to others...to the saints and the lost especially with the precious truth of the gospel which can set them free!

Today's Encouragement (14 March 2023)

Hello sister saints!

I'm back in the Lord sharing some edifying with my sisters whom I love in the Lord.

We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers;
Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father;
1 Thessalonians 1:2-3

Precious are the true children of God who have humble willing fervent hearts towards the Lord and are zealous for Him and good works!

Here's another scripture reading to edify...

Thankful again for His Word and how we can know all He has done for us!

And in that day shall the deaf hear the words of the book, and the eyes of the blind shall see out of obscurity, and out of darkness.
The meek also shall increase their joy in the Lord, and the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.
Isaiah 29:18-19

I love that scripture I came across today. Praise God for the work He does in His people!

Today's Encouragement (13 March 2023)

Greetings sisters!

How are you going in the Lord? I hope you're stedfast and strong and striving as good soldiers of Christ!

He is our hope and strength and peace and joy and so much more.

Here's another scripture reading for my sisters...

So glad and thankful for His Word. He is good to give it to us.

There is so much hope in Him...and in the end that's really only if we lose our lives and follow His Son into eternal life!

Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God:
Psalm 146:5

Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.
Psalm 43:5

Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.
Romans 15:13

Let's hope in God sisters, and not in man or anything else!
