Today's Encouragement (10 February 2023)

Hello sisters!

Here's a new day to live for the Lord and be joyous in Him no matter what! He is good always!

I love that pretty flower and sunshine and blue sky picture a sister sent. Well I'm not even sure if they're flowers or leaves but pretty creations nonetheless! And we give God glory for them and all good things He made!

Titus 2 and my daily bread filled with garden veggie blessings...

It will keep me going in good works and I do my serving work for others in making it.

Thank you sister for sharing these scriptures...

Such a blessing to be able to bring up the scriptures to memory and be exhorted daily in doing so. Contentment; that's so important isn't it sisters?!

Yes we want to take good heed to that and many things. So many are not taking heed and just blindly believing what they were taught or what they want to believe.

So I share some more scriptures on taking heed...

And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
Matthew 24:4

And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.
Luke 12:15

For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.
Romans 11:21

Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.
1 Timothy 4:16

Aren't we so blessed to have all these warnings from the Lord? I think so! We would be wise to fear Him and heed them amen sisters?!

Well I must go but hope you're doing well and striving on and holding fast in the faith. We can think about and pray for one another because we are all scattered and God has His remnant in this dark world where so many are on the broad road to destruction. We all have our duties to do shining our light and being salt on this earth.

Today's Encouragement (9 February 2023)

Greetings sisters!

I hope you're resting in the Lord's peace today!

Thank you sister for sharing that scripture. It made me think about sharing some more verses on peace from the Lord.

These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
John 16:33

Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
Romans 5:1

Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.
2 Corinthians 13:11

It is a great blessing to be at peace with God, and not to have the opposite.

There is no peace, saith the Lord, unto the wicked.
Isaiah 48:22

The Lord will give strength unto his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace.
Psalm 29:11

So many precious gifts we can have in Him!

I love seeing the dew on all the plants on a dewy damp morning...

Looks refreshing to me...especially during hot weather when the mornings are cooler!

What a beautiful sight...

...picking sun-warm tomatoes on a warm evening. Good blessings the Lord allows to grow to feed us!

And so much variety from the garden to use...

Pretty clouds this evening too...

And time to pick some pears and save some from the birds...

God is good to bless mankind with so much! Glory to Him!

Nevertheless he left not himself without witness, in that he did good, and gave us rain from heaven, and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness.
Acts 14:17

(Thank you sister for the scripture picture.) What a joy to know a few saints who truly love the Lord no matter what. I'm so thankful for the ones I know in these dark times. Hold fast you sisters! Until tomorrow Lord willing...

Today's Encouragement (8 February 2023)

Greetings sisters!

Hope you're all well today...most of all spiritually! All what we see even our own physical bodies are temporal but things we can't see are eternal! This is what we are labouring for amen sisters?

While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
2 Corinthians 4:18

Amen and people may think we're strange doing that but one day they will see Him too. And so many say they have faith don't they but they don't even try to fully obey the One they have faith in and say they believe what He says. But let us sisters live and strive and obey as if we truly believe in Him...because we really do!

I share some scriptures to encourage us sisters and to remind us that we are the Lord's and to be set apart unto Him!

And ye shall be holy unto me: for I the Lord am holy, and have severed you from other people, that ye should be mine.
Leviticus 20:26

Then they that feared the Lord spake often one to another: and the Lord hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the Lord, and that thought upon his name.
And they shall be mine, saith the Lord of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.
Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.
Malachi 3:16-18

For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.
Romans 14:8

And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
2 Corinthians 6:16-18

I love all of those. It's good to remember who we are isn't it sisters. Helps us keep our focus and correct any thoughts that may need correcting.

I hope all your Titus 2 good works are going well! I'm sure there's a long list of those us sisters do every day or in a lifetime. Many things may seem so simple like cooking food or washing dishes daily etc but they're so necessary and good!

Today's Encouragement (7 February 2023)

Greetings sisters!

I hope on this new day you're striving on in the Lord and thriving in Him and patiently enduring! I am here and I know some sisters who are!

I'm thankful to have His written word and to know how He wants us to live...

If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.
Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
Romans 12:18-21

And that isn't always what our flesh wants but it's God's good ways and we see that they are good! He will deal with the wickedness around us and what people do to us. That's not our job is it sisters.

Today's Encouragement (6 February 2023)

Hello sisters!

How are you today?! I hope you're strong in the Lord! I love His Word that we can just simply read it and obey it. It says what it says and I'm glad it is the rock solid truth in this unstable world we live in!

As that scripture above says...it is glorifying to the Father to bear much fruit. His disciples are good fruit bearers! If we see little or bad fruit we know therefore that they are not His disciples. Let's not be deceived sisters as many will come in His name calling Him Lord.

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Matthew 7:21

We test them to see if they are doing the Father's will don't we. Reminds me of this one...

For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.
Matthew 12:50

We sisters cannot compromise for anyone can we...fellowship, friends, family? We know God must be first and us doing His will!

Reminds me of these scriptures too...

And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father's business?
Luke 2:49

Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.
John 4:34

Let us do the same in the callings He has for us!

My sisters and I talked today on scriptures about rejoicing.

Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.
Luke 10:20

So much to rejoice about in the Lord!

Today's Encouragement (5 February 2023)

Greetings sisters!

One more day we have been given. Hope you're walking in the Lord's true wisdom. I'm so glad to be set free from any of the world's foolish ways!

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.
Proverbs 9:10

I read 1 Peter 1 to edify us sisters today...

God's Word is good and we have many precious promises!

Thankyou sisters for sharing these...

The Lord is indeed worthy to be praised! He is a great God and we are as nothing before Him.

All nations before him are as nothing; and they are counted to him less than nothing, and vanity.
Isaiah 40:17

Let's remember our place and keep serving Him in humility for all He has done for us after we sinned against Him.

Hold fast sisters and I hope you keep enduring patiently and not growing weary in well doing.

Today's Encouragement (4 February 2023)

Greetings sisters!

I hope you're standing stedfast today...no matter what!

That no man should be moved by these afflictions: for yourselves know that we are appointed thereunto.
For verily, when we were with you, we told you before that we should suffer tribulation; even as it came to pass, and ye know.
1 Thessalonians 3:3-4

Let's not be moved by afflictions for Christ's sake whether it's in or own lives or in other saints lives!

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Romans 8:28

It says 'all things' doesn't it sisters?!

Reminds me of this one too about 'all things' being new in Christ...

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
2 Corinthians 5:17

What a great God of hope He is!

I had a hand sewing job to do today...

...hemming up some large curtains for someone. Good works to occupy myself in.

And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;

That ye may walk honestly toward them that are without, and that ye may have lack of nothing.

1 Thessalonians 4:11-12

I love seeing the garden growing and bearing fruit...

God's good creation doing what it should.

Today's Encouragement (3 February 2023)

Hello sisters!

How does this find you on this day? I often think about how the early saints were consumed with the things of God and meeting house to house etc daily...and so I do what I can on this blog daily because we all are scattered.

And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,
Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
Acts 2:46-47

I've had a busy day of Titus 2 work and many hours of holding and watching my 7 month old nephew to try to keep him happy.

Just a pretty view for some of my day watching the clouds and rain and sunshine come and go.

This is a good one to remember...

Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:
For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.
Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
Romans 11:20-22

That really reminds us to watch out and keeps us humble doesn't it. We are so grateful for the grace and mercy of God on us. A sister shared a picture of olives and said it reminded her of the olives in the Bible so I thought of that one and how thankful we can be to be graft into God's family!

He is such a God of hope!

We can rest in that can't we sisters!

Amen let us live obedient lives that show our faith in Him and glorify Him through that and live humble lives serving as Christ taught us how.

Hope you all have a joyous and fruitful day! If we are in the Lord and striving on then no matter what happens we can have that joy...inner calm cheerfulness. Hold fast sisters and let's keep watching/being vigilant!

Today's Encouragement (2 February 2023)

Hello sisters!

I hope you are pressing on in the truth on this day.

But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
John 4:23-24

And we sisters are His true worshippers in spirit and in truth. Praise God for showing us His truth in His Word!

I've had some busy Titus 2 days and helping look after the children again.

I'm sure all of my sisters have a lot of similar work to do also. And it is glorifying to God. Keep going in your good works sisters, not growing weary!

We need a lot of patience in this life in Christ don't we sisters. The other day my sisters and I talked and shared scriptures on it. We need patience in so many areas from the big one of enduring in the faith until the end to little things that may bother us in our every day life etc.

I share some of my older scripture pictures on patience and related...to edify you further...

Yes...we must endure patiently until the end to be saved! And we don't know when our end may be...it may be tomorrow or next year or twenty years but that is the race we will each have set before us to run. We want to finish our course don't we sisters...fighting the good fight! Our Saviour is so worthy! God made us anyway and He can say how He wants us to live but we willingly serve and obey Him amen sisters?!

Hold fast sisters as good soldiers of the Lord!

Today's Encouragement (1 February 2023)

Greetings sisters!

Here's another day and I'm back too, with some edification or just sharing to encourage my sisters!

Even so ye, forasmuch as ye are zealous of spiritual gifts, seek that ye may excel to the edifying of the church.
1 Corinthians 14:12

Amazing seeds God made to bring forth food for mankind...

That's pretty awesome when you think about it!

I thought this was an interesting idea too...

All sorts of foods there are God made! All surely are without excuse that there is a Creator!

And we can relate to that of our job we have to do whenever we go shining our light and sharing truth with others.

So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.

Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.

For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.
1 Corinthians 3:7-9

I love that bit too about being labourers with God. We aren't to just sit around and let Him do it all! We have work to do in planting and watering! Yes even us sisters do, though in line with our roles as under authority. But He gives the increase and all glory to Him!

Fruitful plants...

Just like we are to be fruitful in good works!

Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
John 15:8

Thank you sister for sharing these today...

Rejoicing in the truth...we love the truth don't we sisters! It's so precious!

That's encouraging isn't it seeing his good example of contentment in all things. We sisters want to be like that too don't we!

Days come and days go and His mercies are new every morning! Such hope we have ahead...not behind!

Let's keep pressing forward sisters...

Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 3:13-14
