Today's Encouragement (9 October 2022)

Greetings sister saints!

A new day to serve the Lord is here!

Spot the kangaroo in that picture above. I went on an early morning walk. It was refreshing and beautiful.

I had gotten up early to check the garden for frost.

I had covered up some of the tender young bean plants the night before...

Hope that helped them make it through!

The frost is pretty though...

Glory to God for all of His creations and that we, who also are His creations, can appreciate it all and give Him the praise.

Nevertheless he left not himself without witness, in that he did good, and gave us rain from heaven, and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness.
Acts 14:17

And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
Genesis 1:25

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
Isaiah 26:3

Let them praise the name of the Lord: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.
Psalm 148:13

Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
Matthew 5:6

His creation and Word is always good!

Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.

Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.

James 5:7-8

Yes in gardening too there is a lot of patience needed as well as not knowing if there even will be a harvest in the end. There's many dangers around to destroy it...just as there is for our souls too. Let's keep running the race with patience sisters!

Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Hebrews 12:1-2

Today's Encouragement (8 October 2022)

Greetings sister saints!

Are you thriving in the Lord today and being victorious in Him? We live in a world surrounded with dangers to our souls...but despite all that we know we can overcome it all with the Lord's help!

Like brother Paul here...

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
2 Timothy 4:7

I love this...

Sisters greeting each other for the day:-) It's a joyous thing the Lord let's us have communication across the world and encourage each other in the Lord in godly fellowship and love! Praise God!

We know how rare those souls are that truly love God first and are seeking His kingdom and righteousness first and desiring to be pure and blameless for the Lord! The body of Christ is precious and we know it all works together to build one another up in the Lord.

Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men. See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.
1 Thessalonians 5:14-15

Ever follow that which is good! I love that and let's keep striving after good sisters! That's also mentioned in Titus 2 for women isn't it that we are to be good. And we should go to God's Word for our definition of good as we know our culture calls evil good and good evil. We don't want to be confused or deceived by the world around us that we were born into which is ever changing. But God's Word and ways are rock solid! I know many think the Bible is 'too old and not up with the latest' and so they think we can stretch it a bit to fit modern times. But no we know God is eternal and what He says must be done! And we want to obey Him don't we sisters as it is fruit we are even of Him and we know His ways are good even if our flesh doesn't like it at times.

God's creation just keeps doing what He made it to do.

And I share this scripture to encourage us to keep pressing on by faith...

Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:
(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.
2 Corinthians 5:6-11

Let's keep labouring sisters...to be acceptable by the Lord at all times. Even though we may want to just escape from the things that are hard in this life and go be with the Lord...His will be done and we just keep working out our salvation with fear and trembling ready and watching and waiting for that glorious day to come!

Amen...He alone is worthy to be praised!

Hold fast sister saints and we're all one day closer to eternity!

Today's Encouragement (7 October 2022)

Greetings sisters!

How are you this day the Lord gave us?! I have a new day so I'm back to sharing a bit more again here. And it may be very simple what I share but all good pure and true things nonetheless! And His Word is always good to share!

I share these scriptures with a similar theme...

But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.
Job 23:10

That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
1 Peter 1:7

Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word.
Psalm 119:67

Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:
1 Peter 1:22

And this one too that a sister shared again today...

They all talk about purifying and refining don't they. We definitely want that in our own lives don't we as we want to grow in the Lord. And it's true it may not be in the ways our flesh wants...but the Lord knows best! And we want to be holy and blameless the best we can through the power of God, as we follow after our Saviour who is worthy!

But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing.

I love that scripture.

Well I must go and finish up my evening and then get some rest. I hope to be back tomorrow. And I definitely hope you're all striving on in the Lord and His good works and not growing weary in them! Remember our labours aren't in vain in the Lord! Hold fast sister saints!

Today's Encouragement (6 October 2022)

Greetings sisters!

How are you in the Lord this day? I hope you're being victorious and overcoming by His grace and strength!

For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:
And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.
2 Corinthians 5:14-15

I love that reminder of doing all to God's glory.

And we know that living in sin and rebellion does NOT glorify Him does it.

That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ; Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.
Philippians 1:10-11

Let us glorify Him in love and obedience to Him.

Blessings of daily bread...

In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Thank you sister for this scripture picture. And it reminds me of some more scriptures that encourage us to look above not on this earth!

If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

Today's Encouragement (5 October 2022)

Hello sister saints!

I'm back again for a bit of edification for my sisters. Hope your days are going well and most of all you're striving on in the Lord!

Yea, I think it meet, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by putting you in remembrance;
2 Peter 1:13

That reminds me about the scripture of exhorting daily and how we can all remind one another of many good things! Many things we want to remember for sure. So many treasure to dig into in His Word and learn more of the depths to them. And even the things we think we know we can never be reminded enough of all the good things in the Lord. And to check our lives and make sure we haven't slipped in any area and such like.

Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.
Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.
He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
Revelation 3:3-5

I love that scripture.

Bird creation picture from my day...

God's creation just keeps going about its business and we godly women want to too. I saw a parent bird diligently searching for food for it's babies. And thought about them working hard too! We can learn many things from His creation!

Yes...may He alone be glorified!

Our God is a great refuge!

I hope your Titus 2 works and all the other duties as godly women are going well. And hopefully you're pressing through each of the trials that come in this life in Christ.

Today's Encouragement (4 October 2022)

Hello sisters!

Hope you're doing well in the Lord today.

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.
James 3:17-18

I love all that don't you?! We love all such good things!

Just sharing some peaceful pictures from yesterday morning...

Good blessings from the Lord!

And a bit of God's scenery from my bus trip yesterday too...

I'm back to helping with the little ones again. Got to talk with a woman from on the bus about the things of God and share some truth and the gospel. We were talking about where we were traveling and she said she had been to a Christian camp...so that opened the door for some further conversation. Praise God!

And I share some scriptures for my sisters...

This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.
Titus 3:8

Right we know we have to maintain good works...and be careful about it.

We don't want to be like this...

They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.
Titus 1:16

Or like this...

Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying, This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
Matthew 15:7-8

He is a great God and we're blessed to serve Him!

Today's Encouragement (3 October 2022)

Greetings sister saints!

I'm dropping back in here sharing some older scripture pictures. I've had a long and busy day of travel and work but these scripture pictures are always good! Hope they edify my sisters!

God's Word is so good! And so is His creation! And we as His daughters are called to be bearing much good fruit as well. And be diligent in every good work!

Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.
3 John 1:11

Well I must go but I hope to be back tomorrow. Hope you all keep marching on as good soldiers of the Lord enduring hardness for Him!

Today's Encouragement (2 October 2022)

Greetings sisters!

How are you?

I hope you are...

Striving on!

Not growing weary!

Being patient!

Watching!

Overcoming!

Rejoicing!

And all such things we have to do to endure unto the end being pleasing to God!

That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;
If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.
Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.
Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 3:10-14

Amen sisters...we've got work to do following after our Saviour!

And hopefully we're all abounding in good works! Like our sister Dorcas was...

Now there was at Joppa a certain disciple named Tabitha, which by interpretation is called Dorcas: this woman was full of good works and almsdeeds which she did.
Acts 9:36

And we know what we are to be as godly women, some of which are all these which it's good to remind each other of...

Being shamefaced

Submissive

Having a meek and quiet spirit

Adorned with good works not externally with 'things'

Chaste

Loving husbands and children

Keepers at home

Sober minded

Ready with the gospel

Denying ourselves

Content

Patient

And some more good things here...

Well reported of for good works; if she have brought up children, if she have lodged strangers, if she have washed the saints' feet, if she have relieved the afflicted, if she have diligently followed every good work.

1 Timothy 5:10

We're blessed to know and be able to see the Lord's truth. Let us walk in it and strive to be as blameless as we can in it all. The Lord is worthy whose we are!

I love that...let us trust in God! That's another thing we women must have a lot of!

Today's Encouragement (1 October 2022)

Greetings sister saints!

I'm back again with a new day and want to encourage my sisters with sharing some edification. Hope each of you are doing well in the Lord!

I share a few scriptures on the good ways of God we are to have in putting others before ourselves and bearing with them...

I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
Ephesians 4:1-2

Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
1 Corinthians 13:4-5

Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;
Romans 12:10

I love God's ways don't you sisters?!

The baby birds are growing..

And the new leaves are too...

Such a pretty time of year. God's seasons are amazing!

Thank you sister for these gifts of scriptures added to my pictures of God's pretty creations!

So many aspects to ponder in His Word. And it's strengthening to keep ourselves in the Word as we don't want to be deceived by man and his false ways do we!
