Today's Edification (25 January 2025)

Greetings in the name of the Lord, sisters!

For without Him we can do nothing and are nothing and are most hopeless. But in Him we have so much hope as He is life and light and truth! Here is another day we get to be His daughters!

Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
2 Corinthians 6:17-18

I hope you are striving on in holiness!

Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.
Ephesians 5:1-2

May we sisters remember what is of great price to Him...having meek and quiet spirits! So let us go forth in our good works in such a demeanour! He sees us and He is the one who will reward all according to their works. And yes rewards aren't always a good thing in the Word. Everyone will reap what they sow...good or bad rewards.

I heard a scripture recently that mentions what was better and so I thought I'd look up more scriptures with it and read them to us to edify us in the truth of what is better according to God!

One day if we remain faithful we will be in a far better place which is not worthy to be compared to this one even. May our Lord come soon in His will and end all the evils of this world. But He is not willing that any should perish but that they might repent. So much time He is giving people to repent. His long-suffering is great. May we keep living to please Him sisters. No matter what comes in this world we just want the Lord on our side and to stay close to Him ourselves.

Forsake me not, O LORD: O my God, be not far from me.
Psalm 38:21

Cast me not off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength faileth.
Psalm 71:9

Now also when I am old and grayheaded, O God, forsake me not; until I have shewed thy strength unto this generation, and thy power to every one that is to come.
Psalm 71:18

I will keep thy statutes: O forsake me not utterly.
Psalm 119:8

Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
Hebrews 13:5-6

I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.
Psalm 37:25

So strive on one more day! Hope in Him! Mercy and love to you in His name.
