Today's Edification (15 April 2024)

Salutations to my sisters who love the Lord!

But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
1 John 2:5

Let keep diligently searching the scriptures to keep His Word.

I hope you're all pressing on sisters!

I read some scriptures on righteous and upright here...

His Word is always edifying and encouraging and so many different subjects to look in to.

A problem we will face in these last days and a solution following...

But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;

And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

2 Timothy 3:13-17

Let's continue in His Word, sisters!

Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
John 8:31-32

Praise God! Only in His truth is freedom found! And His commandments are not grievous!

For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
1 John 5:3

I heard this scripture and was looking at the word 'forged'...

The proud have forged a lie against me: but I will keep thy precepts with my whole heart.
Psalm 119:69

But ye are forgers of lies, ye are all physicians of no value. O that ye would altogether hold your peace! and it should be your wisdom.
Job 13:4-5

And thinking that there is nothing new under the sun. People still are doing it today. But one day the Lord will put an end to all evil. We just need to each be responsible for our own selves to be blameless the best we can be. And we can help each other if we have that blessing.

Keep doing your good works unto the Lord sisters...even if it's washing dishes...

Or other simple and repetitious duties! There are many blessings in all we do if we look deeper!

Garlic going into the ground...

And broccoli...

And then patient waiting for the harvest IF all goes well. Just as we wait patiently for the Lord's return.

Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain. Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.
James 5:7-8

Don't usually see different coloured flowers on the same plant I don't think...

It's a borage plant which come up all around the garden on their own. Pretty flower creations!

Doing this makes me think of the Proverbs 31 woman...

She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms.
Proverbs 31:17

A lot of strength is needed. (And caution to not cause yourself damage with the force that is needed.)

But we sisters are thankful for all we can do and the strength we do have. We're not bed ridden with someone having to look after us in everything. Oh how blessed we are to be able to do things on our own. That's not to be taken forgranted. One day it may be different but the Lord's grace will still be sufficient then. And we trust then as now He will give us all we need.

Peaceful creations...still doing what He made them to do way back then!

It's been a busy and fruitful day. But tomorrow I have early travel to the children's so some changes of duties for awhile ahead. I was thinking about just 'being' His and how even if we may have some quieter moments at times (well some of us perhaps or you make some) within our busy days where we are not physically doing much perhaps, it's still a blessing to remember we are His! We're blessed to 'be' His daughters. Take time to remember and rejoice in that sisters! We may have very much 'doing' to do in good works for the Lord but during that all we are being His daughters.

But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
1 Peter 5:10-11

I love that scripture. Let's be stablished, strengthened and settled in Him! Keep pressing on by faith, sisters...in His strength!

🌻 Love to you all,🌷
