Today's Encouragement (3 October 2023)

Greetings sisters!

God gave us a new day to serve Him! I hope you're standing strong in faith and trust in the Lord!

I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

Psalm 91:2

Yet another beautiful day in His creations...

Glory to God for it all and we want to remember to be thankful that we can see and hear and feel. Of course more importantly is being able to hear and see spiritually but we can be very thankful for both!

But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.
Matthew 13:16

And he said unto them, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

Mark 4:9

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Revelation 3:13

It's amazing what you can overlook in the reading of His Word if your eyes cannot see or ears hear. We know the Lord reveals things to us.

The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

Ephesians 1:18

How thankful we ought to be and treasuring it greatly!

Pondering how we can and should be pleasing to the Lord...

Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, so ye would abound more and more. For ye know what commandments we gave you by the Lord Jesus.

1 Thessalonians 4:1-2

When a man's ways please the Lord, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.

Proverbs 16:7

So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

Romans 8:8

But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

Hebrews 13:16

Why would anyone not want to please such a glorious God and our Creator? We sisters do, so let's keep striving in it!

Was reading and pondering also how we don't want to be the one causing any stumbling to anyone...

Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come! It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.

Luke 17:1-2

Let us be very careful to be in the truth and preferring others. We want to be good witnesses of the Lord, and others sure are watching us.

Hold fast sisters! This life is so short let us redeem the time in the Lord's work! And let us strive to walk worthy in obedience to the one who is forever worthy to be praised.

Love in Christ,

Sister Chayil
