Today's Encouragement (4 August 2022)

Greetings sister saints!

One more day is here! And what does that mean for us? We get to be godly women, daughters of God, living for Him who created us and redeemed us, one more day!

For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

1 Corinthians 6:20

I was thinking about how much in the Word there is about rocks as we know God Himself is our Rock too.

And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

Matthew 7:25

How firm, and stable, and unmoving are rocks! And not like the sand that we know that scripture goes on to talk about if we don't do what Jesus says. Anything built on it falls when the storms come! We don't want to fall.

Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.

1 Corinthians 10:12

Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.

2 Peter 3:17

Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

2 Thessalonians 2:3

Thank you sister for the scriptures...

We love that one! It's a great picture of the early saints and their love of the Lord and the joy and zeal and unity they had!

And there's one reason for the joy...the light of Christ in hearts! We love the light don't we sisters and hate darkness and the evil of it. We all know about what our pasts were like and we sure see so much more clearly now the deception, blindness, and darkness we were in. Praise God for this...

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
1 Peter 2:9

Amen and to all my godly sisters!

Hold fast today sisters...through all things! The Lord sees and knows everything in your lives. May we endure through all things as our reasonable service and be so thankful that we have already far far more than we deserve. Let's remember that sisters!

Love in Christ,

Sister Michaela
