Today's Encouragement (22 May 2022)

 

Greetings in love to my sisters in Christ! 

God gave us this day didn't He! How's yours been going? 

I'm sharing this scripture to encourage us sisters in the Lord's ways! 

Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; 

Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. 

And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. 

And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. 

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. 

And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

Colossians 3:12-17

What a great scripture loaded with the high and holy ways of God! His ways are awesome when followed aren't they sisters! 

Just picking a few leaves for tea from the garden... 

Good to see more good foods coming along too! 

God provides food for mankind in so many ways...not only for His people but also the evil and sends the sunshine and rain on everyone too. But let's be thankful to Him while others rob Him of His glory and thanks. 

And I love seeing the green carpet of lil seedlings coming up all over the place after the rain... 

God's creation keeps going...on and on doing what He created it to do! And we sisters keep going in what we were created for too! We must endure to the end of our lives to be saved! 

One thing we're created for....good works!  

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. 

Ephesians 2:10

Keep going about your good works sisters whether it's being a helper to a husband, raising children, keeping the home, edifying the saints, serving others, or a combination and also any of the other good works such as kindness, love, patience, mercy etc. We know we are to be zealous for good works and certainly not lazy or unfruitful in them! God is good and all good things come from Him and we have been called to be good also!

And so that's what I have to share today! Hopefully it was encouraging! I'm just a simple sister striving on right where I am, doing what I can for the Lord. And you are too, my godly sisters who are obedient to the Lord in all your ways! 

Keep pressing forward sister soldier saints! And keep shining your lights so all may see the power of Christ in you and glorify God!
