Today's Encouragement (19 April 2022)

Greetings this day to my sisters who love the Lord!

I've had a busy day out in town today but I share some scriptures I put in here yesterday.  Hope each of you are strong in the Lord this day!

So I thought I'd just share a few scriptures on rising up as it's an encouraging thought! What a great God of hope we have! Our hope is above and we set our affections there and also we can be joyous and not in despair, overcomers and not defeated, pressing upwards and not growing weary while we are down here.

I like this one as it shows the power of God too...

And there came thither certain Jews from Antioch and Iconium, who persuaded the people, and, having stoned Paul, drew him out of the city, supposing he had been dead.

Howbeit, as the disciples stood round about him, he rose up, and came into the city: and the next day he departed with Barnabas to Derbe.

And when they had preached the gospel to that city, and had taught many, they returned again to Lystra, and to Iconium, and Antioch,

Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God .

Acts 14:19-22

And after these things he went forth, and saw a publican, named Levi, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he said unto him, Follow me. And he left all, rose up, and followed him.

Luke 5:27-28

May we too in whatever situation it is rise up to follow Christ and not go away and back and serve ourselves by doing things we know are not right.

And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:

Luke 24:46

Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.

Colossians 2:12

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17

Just some simple scriptures to ponder on! Lord willing I will be back tomorrow! Hold fast to Christ sisters! Keep pressing on even through the trials...whether it's physical or spiritual ones! Let us not grow weary in doing well! We will reap if we don't faint! If my sisters are feeling faint...I cheer you on and encourage you to look to our Saviour! He is worthy!

Love in Him,

Sister Michaela
