Today's Encouragement (10 February 2022)

Hello sisters! 

Hoping you're fighting on in this faith! 

I have some simple edification of various things for your day. 

Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

Matthew 5:13-14

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Matthew 5:16

We appreciate that section of scripture...and the reminder to keep being salt and light...in this wicked world. 

And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Matthew 24:12-13 

One way we can shine our light is through our love for others. 

A sister was sharing an account of how she got to help an old lady with her shopping today and how the lady was surprised and so thankful about that because it's so rare in this dark world where most seek their own. We get rewarded too when we follow God's ways. And more important than physical help, she got the most valuable truth in the world of the gospel of Christ! 

God's ways are surely much higher than man's and it's what we sisters are all growing up in by the Spirit. 

Here's some scriptures from a sister (thank you!)... 

Many places where God tells us to not fear our situations isn't there. And He tells us not to fear the enemy as well...but He does tell us to fear Him! And that's all mixed up and in reverse in this world where people tend to fear circumstances, man, and satan. What a lie all that is. And I know it is a fight at times to not fear things we shouldn't...but we can chose to trust in the Lord at such times and walk in the Spirit casting down fear. 

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

2 Timothy 1:7

I share my hot chocolate with a scripture... 

And some potato lunch... 

What great blessings God gave to feed us...keep us going to glorify Him! 

This big bag of baking soda is an awesome thing to have on hand for cleaning the house and many other uses. 

Just a Titus 2 blessing. 

And here's some peaceful creations this evening... 

Glory to God the Creator! 

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

John 1:1-4

OK sisters...time for me to go! We each have our lives to walk out don't we. We can't take a trial that another is going through (even if we'd want to spare them from it)...we each must face them but we can support and encourage those in them. We all will have them if we are living godly in Christ. It is a blessing to give and then all be edified in giving and receiving. God has us all in the life He has for us and knows what we need. He sees and knows all...sees the wicked and the righteous. And He is just. 

Keep pressing forward sister soldiers...in patient continuance in well doing not growing weary! 

Lord willing I shall be back here tomorrow!
