Quick and Simple Bread

Hello Titus 2 sisters!

Today I'm sharing about a simple bread that is good for us godly women who are looking for making the best use of our time. We all have different lives...some busier and some quieter but we may all appreciate being able to do things that are usually done a different way more simply with similar outcomes. This bread is one of them. It requires no kneading. It does require the usual rising time but as we know we can let that be while we go about other things.

I got this from another sister (thank you:-). It is a bit different method but still the same ingredients. And your conditions might be different again. But it's good to know that we don't need to spend a great deal of time on bread making.

3 cups plain (all purpose) flour

1 tsp salt

1 tsp yeast

1 1/2 cup warm water

(and you can add a few tsps sugar if you like)

Mix dry ingredients together and then add the warm water. Mix until well combined.

The dough should be very sticky...

You can cook it in any pan you like but I recommend lining with baking paper as the dough tends to stick when baked.

I spread the dough to rise in the same pan I'm cooking it in...

Let it rise until well risen (hour or two)...

Then bake in hot oven 200C/400F for 20-30 minutes until cooked. (I lower the temperature for the last half of baking but not sure if you really need to. I guess it stops the outside getting too brown.)

It has a nice spongy inside...

So there you have it!

Great to have with soups (best toasted) or just spread with butter...or whatever you use bread for.

You can toast a whole lot of bread at once in the oven...

Let us be thankful for what the Lord provides us day by day.

"Give us day by day our daily bread."
Luke 11:3

And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
Acts 2:46-47

Love to you in our Lord,

Sister Michaela
