Good day sisters who love the Lord!
Well we won't get this day again will we sisters! Hope yours, whatever time it is, is a good one and you're focused not on all the trials but looking beyond that at eternal things above! We sure walk this life in faith of all what God has promised to those who love Him.
Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
James 1:12
We can be also greatly blessed and encouraged by those who have faithfully walked before us against many trials and temptations...and overcome faithfully. We know it can be done! We have the power of God and He is worthy of our life and to be glorified in it.
They that are of a froward heart are abomination to the Lord: but such as are upright in their way are his delight.
Proverbs 11:20
Isn't that such a blessing...when God is on our side and takes delight in His people. We know we sinned against Him...and that is very big indeed but we know His great forgiveness and cleansing when we repent and turn to His ways! As I shared about the other day, we leave behind all the sins and come out and be seperated unto Him and we get to be His daughters! The gospel really is a precious thing and we're so grateful for what the Lord has done in our lives! Others can have that too if they want it!
The Lord taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.
Psalm 147:11
Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised.
Proverbs 31:30
Let's keep fearing the Lord sisters. That means we love and obey His commandments for us doesn't it. His Word is so packed with them isn't it!
Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;
Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
Colossians 3:12-15
Those are some awesome ways of God to follow and obey!
-----------------------------------
Calf milk feeding things all cleaned up and ready to be stored away (and maybe for if there is a 'next time').
Because the calves are weaned. Time for them to eat lots of hay...
A sister made these little cakes and sent a picture to celebrate the calf weaning with me (and another sister)!
That was sweet of her. Thank you sister:-) It's to rejoice together in all my hard work feeding them being done! Yes it was hard work...but a blessing and also good to be done! They were getting pretty big and strong, those calves were!
And here's more Titus 2 works with cooking the evening meal...
The Lord gave us our daily bread. He is to be thanked and praised!
And that He provided us our spiritual bread...
But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
Matthew 4:4
And here's the usual dishes washing...
I'm sure you all have that to do...but it's important:-)
And I'm glad for my sisters in Christ:-) Thank you for the scripture pictures sister:-)
Oh we sure hope we can also say that when our life comes to an end! Let us strive on each day sisters! Those days all add up! It counts also how we were faithful in the small things...of minutes, hours, and days! We may think it's a long while until we grow really old (well some of us perhaps)...but we know our time is in the Lord's hands and we want to be found faithful at any and all times.
Time for me to go! May your day be blessed in the Lord and may it be a fruitful one in your labours and good works!
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
2 Thessalonians 3:18
Love in Christ,
Sister Michaela
