Edification for One More Day

Greetings sisters! 

Here I am back again! 

But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.

Galatians 6:14

Amen sisters! Praise God all we have and are comes from Him and we give Him glory! He created man and woman in the beginning. He sent His Son to redeem us from the destruction we deserve. And He is preparing a home for us who are His faithful people! All glory to Him and none to us! Let us do our reasonable service unto Him pleasing Him by obeying Him. 

The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts. His ways are always grievous; thy judgments are far above out of his sight: as for all his enemies, he puffeth at them.

Psalm 10:4-5

Came across that scripture today and we see the depths of the pride of man in not seeking after God. God who made us all, gave us life and breath and rain and sunshine and food and many more good things. But we sisters know that we are nothing without our great God! And we humbly strive to live for Him. He is worthy!

It was a warm day here with plenty of sunshine...

Good for drying clothes and other things.

God's creation of the sun (and moon) is still definitely doing what it was created for. May we godly women do the same. 

And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. 

And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, 

And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.

Genesis 1:16-18

Cute ducks cooling off... 

And thirsty bees drinking out the pond... 

Saw a rainbow today... 

And a pretty sunset with a reflection on the water... 

It's all just a tiny glimpse at the great creativity and power of our almighty God!

What hope in His Son sisters! He gives us life from the dead in Him! And power over death and sin. 

Let us fear and obey our mighty God we have to serve. We can remember His goodness and His severity. 

Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.

Romans 11:22

Yes He will and so let us sisters examine our lives and works making sure they are in line with His Word and holy ways. 

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

2 Corinthians 5:10

Yes so many who need to hear the truth of the gospel. So let us shine our lights and be prepared to give an answer of the hope we have. What a blessed hope it is indeed. We have precious treasures indeed! We can share it, the truth, with others and not just keep it to ourselves. 

Well I must go now sisters. I do hope your day is a joyous and fruitful one as you trust in the Lord and walk in His Spirit. Hopefully I'll be back tomorrow with some more edification and encouragement for you! Hold fast!
