Simply Encouragement

Good day sisters!

I hope today you are strong in the Lord, striving against sin and the flesh. Let us press on in a strong faith in a wicked faithless world.

May we not be like this...

"Then Jesus answered and said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him hither to me."
Matthew 17:17

Or like this...

"And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?"
Matthew 14:31

But like this...

"He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform."
Romans 4:20-21

And like those who have not seen yet have faith.

"And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you. Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed."
John 20:26-29

And what can we do with faith?

And I share a few scripture picture gifts my sister sent me.

Let us be wise, fearing God, as we walk through this world.
"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding."
Proverbs 9:10

Let us live holy...because God is holy.

"We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth; So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure: Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer:"
2 Thessalonians 1:3-5

That is my simple encouragement for you today. Strive on and be strong one more day sisters. And as my sister told me today, "hold fast and do one at a time and we will get there!". Amen we will! He is faithful to fulfil His promises if we keep our part of being faithful and obedient. We shall receive eternal LIFE...one day.

"Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him."
James 1:12

So let us sisters love the Lord by keeping His commandments and not our own ways.

Love and peace in the Lord,

...a daughter for His glory,

"Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses."

1 Timothy 6:12
