I hope you are all having a fruitful day.
I share just a few more pictures of what is around of God's Creation in my part of the world that I am blessed to see.
I love the interesting feather patterns on this hen.
Sold these beautiful roosters...
An Australian Magpie...
Awesome fresh homegrown apricots...
Evening sunlight...
There's a lot of limestone rock here...
And old stonewalls which were already here when we moved...but they were fallen down so we built them up again.
I just shared this scripture with a sister but when I went back over it and read it again this part for some reason stood out to me. It is a great faith strengthener...at least to me. All around us we see people either saying it directly or living as if this world is going to go on forever. It even says that they are willingly ignorant of the Flood destroying the earth in the past...interesting. But as it says the day of the Lord will come. And won't that be so different to anything we've ever experienced! Let's be preparing for that day, sisters! Bringing glory to God through the power He gives us to live victorious over sin and our flesh.
"Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up."
(2 Peter 3:3-10)
"But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.
For the Son of Man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.
Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:
Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.
And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch."
(Mark 13:32-37)
Be prepared sisters! Following Him in all the ways of truth that He has showed us in His Word obediently striving day by day.
It doesn't really show up, but there was lovely evening light shining through everything and it looked so beautiful.
And then it turned to this...
The variety in God's Creation is more than we can fathom for sure...it is seemingly infinite.
I came across this video I took of two amazing birds I saw awhile ago (it does seem that blogger plays videos again so I hope that is the case). Isn't this a witness to our great Creator!
"The earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.
Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in his holy place?
He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.
He shall receive the blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah.
Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.
Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.
Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.
Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah."
