Today's Edification (3 December 2024)

Greetings sisters!

A new day to serve the One who made us and owns us! I hope you're doing well in Him!

It is good to remember that our every day duties done unto the Lord are not in vain! Our great God is so worthy to do all things unto and strive to please Him! Let's go forth in our day remembering what matters most! We are to seek first His kingdom and righteousness and we know what duties His gave specifically to women. So we know if we do those day by day be it washing dishes, cooking, washing clothes, caring for children and other such things then these are good works pleasing to our great God!

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Matthew 6:33-34

If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.

Colossians 3:1-3

And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
Mark 12:30

We know what is most important in our lives! So may we do all things unto Him!

Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.
1 Corinthians 10:31

And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;
Colossians 3:23

That doesn't sound like growing weary in anything! So may we do our works which will often be serving others heartily as unto the Lord!

I must go now but Lord willing will be back tomorrow to edify in love. I think I have travels back again so then it's always somewhat different duties I have to do but some the same too. Just keep going sisters wherever you have been called! And may we keep sober and on guard as well. And yet being of good courage as He has overcome the world which we will have much tribulation in. Hold fast!

Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.

But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

2 Peter 3:17-18

Today's Edification (2 December 2024)

Hello again my sisters!

God granted another day with the sun coming up and so I am here again too! I hope you are striving on in your day whatever time it is where you are! Our Lord is so worthy so let us keep walking by faith. No we do not seek signs and wonders but truth and righteousness and know the Lord told us we find eternal life by faith.

But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.
Romans 4:5

May we keep seeking to follow after the One in whom we believe!

Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.
John 20:29
For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.
2 Timothy 1:12

I had travels to the children's again so am dropping off a few pictures from my last several days.

Cicada on a pear.

Got the garlic harvested...
That's a blessing!

Sometimes birds get into the nets on the trees and can't find their way out so you get to see them up close...

Just peaceful creations in the midst of this world.

I was keeping well occupied in garden and animal works as well as Titus 2 duties and sewing. I'm adding a larger size of headcoverings to my store after a few requests from people so I'm working on that. Also was blessed to get a lot more fabric at half price so whenever I get to that I can work on more sewing. But it's all Lord willing as we do not know what a day may bring forth.

For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that.
James 4:15
Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.
Proverbs 27:1

Woke up to the beautiful birds this morning...

How peaceful! God's mercies are new each day!

So I must go now as I have other work to finish up for the day, but I hope you keep pressing through all the duties the Lord has for you! May we not grow weary in well doing! Our labours in the Lord are not in vain!

May we keep waiting for His Son from heaven too! Let us be ready!

And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.
1 Thessalonians 1:10

Today's Edification (1 December 2024)

Greetings sister saints!

I hope you are well and strong in the faith! One more day we have been given to live for the One who died for us.

And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.
2 Corinthians 5:15
Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
1 Peter 2:24

What a great sacrifice of love it was to lay down His life. So may we be exceeding grateful and serve and love Him with all our heart and mind and soul and strength!

I find this encouraging to remind us to press on as our Lord is as if He has gone into a far country...

He said therefore, A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return.

And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.

Luke 19:12-13

We need to be patient for His coming and occupying and being faithful servants while He is gone!

Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.
James 5:7

May we too have long patience while He tarries.

I was pondering this scripture...

To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.
Titus 3:2

We do not want to speak evil of anyone even the evil people. Doesn't mean we can't state the truth but we always must be responsible for ourselves to be blameless and pure in all our ways. Vengeance is always the Lord's isn't it sisters!

For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.
1 Peter 3:10-11
Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice.
Ephesians 4:31
Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings,
1 Peter 2:1

God's awesome and pure ways to strive to live perfect in.

Here are the next two Ecclesiastes readings to edify you sisters in wisdom...

A sister was just sharing it today, the scripture that tells us that Solomon asked God specifically for his wisdom and received it.

Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge thy people, that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this thy so great a people?

And the speech pleased the Lord, that Solomon had asked this thing.

And God said unto him, Because thou hast asked this thing, and hast not asked for thyself long life; neither hast asked riches for thyself, nor hast asked the life of thine enemies; but hast asked for thyself understanding to discern judgment;

Behold, I have done according to thy words: lo, I have given thee a wise and an understanding heart; so that there was none like thee before thee, neither after thee shall any arise like unto thee.

1 Kings 3:9-12

We know the Lord is the source of true wisdom and the wisdom of this world is foolishness to Him. So may we be truly wise. We also know fearing Him is the start of wisdom! His Word is wisdom! Let us feed on it and grow on it!

May we keep pressing on in our daily duties the Lord has for us. Truly everything we do not unto the Lord is in vain. He is the only One truly worthy of our effort and time and love! Let us keep serving Him with one mind sisters! Hold fast and keep being patient in all things! Love to you in His name.

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
1 Corinthians 15:58
