Today's Encouragement (2 August 2022)

Hello sister saints of the most high God!

God gave us life on this earth one more day! And it's to glorify Him and not to please ourselves! He created us and redeemed us and so let us give Him the glory due unto His name!

Give unto the Lord, O ye mighty, give unto the Lord glory and strength. Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.

Psalm 29:1-2

I love that! Amen sisters! And there is great beauty in holiness! And I was just reading and studying this morning about how a godly woman adorns with good works and qualities like having a meek and quiet spirit! She doesn't seek to draw attention to herself with outward adorning of any kind.

Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised.

Proverbs 31:30

A woman that fears the Lord...how rare those are! We see so many feeding their flesh and  seeking the pleasures of this world and living for other people even but so few are those actually putting God first! Many may say "Lord Lord" but they don't do what He says.

Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.

Proverbs 31:10

Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Matthew 7:14

I think this is an interesting scripture too on that subject of godly women being rare...

And I find more bitter than death the woman, whose heart is snares and nets, and her hands as bands: whoso pleaseth God shall escape from her; but the sinner shall be taken by her.

Behold, this have I found, saith the preacher, counting one by one, to find out the account:

Which yet my soul seeketh, but I find not: one man among a thousand have I found; but a woman among all those have I not found.

Lo, this only have I found, that God hath made man upright; but they have sought out many inventions.

Ecclesiastes 7:26-29

Reminds me of this one too...

As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.

Isaiah 3:12

It's this wicked world with things around the wrong way of what they ought to be. But let it not be so among God's daughters!

I was also reading in Numbers 11 and thinking about bearing burdens as Moses was feeling overwhelmed with looking after the people.

And how we sisters can share our lives and bear burdens however we can in encouraging and edifying and praying for one another. The body of Christ is a precious thing indeed!

Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;

Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.

And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.

And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

Colossians 3:12-15

Thank you sisters for sharing these scriptures...

Praise God for those who tell the lost the truth!

I love that! True love rejoices in the truth and not iniquity!

That is a great one...let's not get distracted but press on seeking the kingdom of God and His righteousness first!

Amen He has indeed and we are glad!

OK sisters well I am going now. Hold fast and keep pressing on with much patience!

Love to you all,

Sister Michaela
