Today's Edification (12 November 2024)

Greetings sisters!

I hope you're doing well in the Lord today! Keep pressing on sisters! We must to obtain the crown of life.

Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
James 1:12

Encouraging to ponder on all the 'crowns' we may receive...

And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.
1 Peter 5:4

Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
2 Timothy 4:8

And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.
1 Corinthians 9:25

Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
Revelation 2:10

May we keep following after Him with our whole heart...

I will praise thee, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works.
Psalm 9:1

Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.
Psalm 119:2

With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments.
Psalm 119:10

Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law; yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart.
Psalm 119:34

The proud have forged a lie against me: but I will keep thy precepts with my whole heart.
Psalm 119:69

I cried with my whole heart; hear me, O LORD: I will keep thy statutes.
Psalm 119:145

And I will give them an heart to know me, that I am the LORD: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God: for they shall return unto me with their whole heart.
Jeremiah 24:7

Yes we cannot be divided and don't want to be. We want to be faithful servants of such a great God!

I've had a really busy day so just dropping in to share some edifying with my sisters! We have many things to work in with our hands day by day and we know what works God gave to women as well as all humans in general. Yet may we remember Mary and Martha and not neglect those important spiritual things. I consider talking to the sisters I know as important and writing here as well and also reading and sharing His Word and ready to help anyone in the truth (via email for example or however the Lord brings into our lives). We just don't want to get cumbered with much serving and doing things that perhaps are extra and unnecessary especially if we are neglecting important things. Oh yes if you're responsible for very young children who are dependent on you it can be different and hard to take a break and those are good works what the Lord has for you at the time. But just good to ponder that we don't get swept up in the things of this life to the neglect of that which is truly most important! May we set our affections on things above and seek first His kingdom and righteousness!

Hold fast to the truth sisters...no matter the cost. We cannot begin to water down the truth or compromise on anything. The truth is the truth and we want to stand for it all. Press on in the truth in Jesus!

Today's Edification (11 November 2024)

Greetings again sister saints!

I trust you're strong in the Lord today!

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
Ephesians 6:10

There's a lot of scriptures to encourage us in His strength and as our source of strength!

Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually.
1 Chronicles 16:11

The LORD is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation: he is my God, and I will prepare him an habitation; my father's God, and I will exalt him.
Exodus 15:2

I will love thee, O LORD, my strength.
Psalm 18:1

Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.
Psalm 27:14

The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace.
Psalm 29:11

Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD.
Psalm 31:24

The LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness.
Psalm 41:3

I will go in the strength of the Lord GOD: I will make mention of thy righteousness, even of thine only.
Psalm 71:16

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
Philippians 4:13

May we hope in Him and rejoice in His goodness and mercy in all He has done for us!

Just dropping off some pictures and things from my week or so here.

Definitely looking like summer here...

Just the cycle of the seasons God made that will not cease as long as the earth remains.
While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.
Genesis 8:22

Just a few peaceful creation videos too...

Seeing a ripe crop reminds me of some of the things Jesus said about harvests. We know there will be a great harvest of souls, the righteous and the wicked, one day. May we be wheat and not chaff or tares!
Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.
Matthew 3:12

Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.
Luke 10:2

Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
Matthew 13:30

And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe. And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.
Revelation 14:15-16

Satisfying seeing skirts waiting to be packaged...

My sewing machines created quite a bit of interest with the children. This one wants to be a sewing machine mechanic apparently:) He's fascinated seeing all the screws and parts and things.

Yeah I guess I've been too busy sewing to have cleaned mine out lately but then it's satisfying doing it...

Another skirt trial on myself in a different thicker fabric. Most fabrics I'm needing to sew linings in them and that really adds to the cost and bulk so it's nice to find some that don't need it. It will be a good work skirt I'm hoping.

And also want to do more pockets which I have only done a few of on skirts before but want to change that!

Just as you go along you can change things, try new things, or things that once seemed intimidating or something.

Would share...

Good blessings of food the Lord provides.

Flowers for my sisters!

Well think I had better go now. Catch some rest before another busy day tomorrow if the Lord has it for me. Hope all your duties are going well in whatever the Lord has for you!

Simple explanations of our duty...

He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?
Micah 6:8

Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.

Ecclesiastes 12:13-14

So let us strive on in His will! Farewell until tomorrow Lord willing sisters!

Today's Edification (10 November 2024)

Greetings sisters!

We got one more day to live on this earth...to bring Him glory as His creations! Indeed we are not our own. He owns us.

For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
1 Corinthians 6:20

I find these interesting scriptures to ponder and remember...

Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints?

Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?

Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?

If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church.

1 Corinthians 6:1-4

And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me; That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
Luke 22:29-30

I'm not sure how all that will be but God knows and so let us rightly judge now...against the Word of truth that is written.

I was listening to scripture in some quiet time I had and this stood out how these saints reacted to those stealing their things...

For ye had compassion of me in my bonds, and took joyfully the spoiling of your goods, knowing in yourselves that ye have in heaven a better and an enduring substance.
Hebrews 10:34

It is not the way of the flesh to take such things joyfully but we must as we follow our Saviour and profess His name! But indeed our treasures are in heaven and we want our heart there!

But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.

And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloke also.

And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain.

Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.

Matthew 5:39-42

Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:

But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

Matthew 6:19-21

And so as all of the law is summed up in loving others we do not retaliate to any kind of evil against us. This is definitely contrary to man's ways where everyone fights for their rights but God's ways are higher than man's! And He is the revenger not us...but we do hope all will come to repentance. That would be joyous!

If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.

Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.

Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

Romans 12:18-21

And indeed as scripture is confirming scripture...

My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
James 1:2-3

May we do so sisters!

And yes there may be many things to be sorrowful over too and that's OK as there's times and seasons and we are not with our Bridegroom yet but waiting and absent and preparing but may we focus on Him and rest in His peace and love and comfort.

Well I must go now. I had a bit of a quieter day today but always things to do and also have not been feeling the best with a cold. But we all just keep pressing on one day at a time and things will always change and come and go and be harder or easier. But we just want to keep striving on don't we! I encourage you sisters to do just that wherever you are! I'm thinking about you if I know you and pray for all the saints to press on! God sees and knows His own and they are all in His hands.

Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
2 Timothy 2:19

Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.
2 Corinthians 13:11

Today's Edification (9 November 2024)

Greetings sisters!

Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
Philippians 1:2

We get to be His servants one more day! There is a lot to ponder on that aspect of our life. He is God and we are His creations so naturally He is so much greater of course! He is our Master and says how He wants His creatures to live. He is the potter and we the clay.

And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great.
Revelation 19:5

And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him.
Revelation 22:3

But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
Romans 6:22

As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God.
1 Peter 2:16

And yet we also read this...

And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

Galatians 4:6-7

So let us continue as His handmaidens and daughters! We take all of scripture and not just some. There's so much depth and truth to it and we trust that He knows best!

Saw this scripture and was pondering the Lord coming with all His saints!

And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you:
To the end he may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints.
1 Thessalonians 3:12-13

And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,
Jude 1:14

For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
1 Thessalonians 4:14

These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.
Revelation 17:14

One day we shall be with Him...and all the faithful holy ones! Let us labour to please Him now while we are absent, walking by faith not sight! May we hope in His mercy and rejoice in His goodness also! May we abound in thanksgiving! He freely gave His beloved Son for us and all the world that whosoever may come to Him may be delivered from sin and death! Glory to God for all this! Be strong in His grace sisters!

Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.

No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.

2 Timothy 2:1,3-4

Today's Edification (8 November 2024)

Hello again sisters!

Another day to serve Him! I hope all your labours are going well and if not just practicing patience in whatever comes! We can be thankful for things that stretch us as it's an opportunity to overcome and grow in a variety of ways.

My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;

Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.

But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

James 1:2-4

I was thinking of this scripture and how we do not want to be found wanting/lacking...

TEKEL; Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting.
Daniel 5:27

We do not want to come short...

Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.
Hebrews 4:1

We do not want to be sent away...

But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.
Luke 13:27

So let us labour to enter into His rest.

Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.
Luke 13:24

If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
John 15:10

His love is precious. May we continue in His love by keeping His ways as obedient children. Outside of that is His wrath. I'm thankful for all He has told us! May we be wise and heed it.

I'm keeping busy here. A lot of child minding, dishes, cooking, laundry, cleaning up, and blessed to be sewing for a sister still in between it all. I'm sure my godly sisters are also busy in a great variety of things. Continue in those good works sisters...day by day! The Lord sees them and how we do them too.

And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;
Colossians 3:23

Keep striving on my sisters! The Lord is at hand. The Judge stands before the door. May we be ready and watching.

But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.
1 Peter 4:7

Today's Edification (7 November 2024)

Greetings sisters!

I am back to share some encouragement and edification for you, my sisters in His family! I hope you're pressing forwards in His hope and joy today! Our God is good!

Sharing some psalm encouragement...

The LORD openeth the eyes of the blind: the LORD raiseth them that are bowed down: the LORD loveth the righteous:
Psalm 146:8

The LORD upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all those that be bowed down.

The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their meat in due season.

Thou openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.

The LORD is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.

The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.

He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.

The LORD preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy.

My mouth shall speak the praise of the LORD: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever.

Psalm 145:14-21

He is good! May we stay close to Him.

I was thinking how it can seem suspenseful at times as we know this is coming...

But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
2 Peter 3:7

It's really serious this life but we cannot force anyone to believe and obey Jesus. Sure we can share the gospel and truth but other than that we must press on ourselves and know the Lord has all things in His hands.

Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

2 Peter 3:11-14

Yes sisters let us be diligent.

Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.

For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward;

How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;

Hebrews 2:1-3

Was pondering God honoring us as it's humbling as we don't deserve it...

He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.

If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.

John 12:25-26

And also how we are going to be glorified.

And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

Romans 8:17-18, 30

The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed.
1 Peter 5:1

And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.
1 Peter 5:4

It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
1 Corinthians 15:43

It surely is humbling but we know we can please Him and He loves His children so much. Surely He is good and so much is prepared for those who love Him! We do not deserve it and we do not lift ourselves up but He does and can!

I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.
Luke 18:14
Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:
1 Peter 5:6

May we keep our lowly, meek, humble, submitted place, fearing Him. And may He receive all the glory! Our obedience and good fruit bearing does bring Him glory!

Keep pressing on with diligence my sisters! It will be worth everything. We do not want to gain the world and lose our soul. The time is short may we continue stedfast in the faith!

My love be with you all in Christ Jesus. Amen.
1 Corinthians 16:24

Today's Edification (6 November 2024)

Greetings sisters!

Here is another day to serve our Lord! Hopefully you're pressing on in His grace which is sufficient for us! That's always so encouraging if there's any trials in the day to press through! We just need to think on His great goodness to us which we didn't deserve...and that is encouraging and uplifting!

This is a good scripture for us...

And that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy; as it is written, For this cause I will confess to thee among the Gentiles, and sing unto thy name.

And again he saith, Rejoice, ye Gentiles, with his people.

And again, Praise the Lord, all ye Gentiles; and laud him, all ye people.

And again, Esaias saith, There shall be a root of Jesse, and he that shall rise to reign over the Gentiles; in him shall the Gentiles trust.

Romans 15:9-12

He has been so good and merciful and gracious to us! And I'm sharing the scriptures from the Old Testament which it mentions in that passage above. Just interesting seeing all that has been fulfilled.

Therefore I will give thanks unto thee, O LORD, among the heathen, and I will sing praises unto thy name.
2 Samuel 22:50

Rejoice, O ye nations, with his people: for he will avenge the blood of his servants, and will render vengeance to his adversaries, and will be merciful unto his land, and to his people.
Deuteronomy 32:43

O praise the LORD, all ye nations: praise him, all ye people.
Psalm 117:1

And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:

And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.

Isaiah 11:1,10

I'm thankful to be able to be grafted in and to be part of His one sheep fold!

Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.
1 Peter 2:10

Surely it is of His tender mercies and grace we are saved! We are His work! And now we strive to follow after Him, working out our salvation with fear and trembling as the righteous will scarcely be saved and the way is narrow, the saints few, the adversaries many, and the flesh weak. But with His help we can be more than conquerors!

I was pondering this scripture...

We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.

Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification.

Romans 15:1-2

I'm pretty sure we each have strengths and weaknesses and also we can be strong at times and weak at other times and some may be stronger in the faith and some weaker in general. So in Christ's body we are to be helping one another when they are weak. Helping to build up and encourage and not tear down. There's so much hope in Christ as long as we keep striving through all things! We are still in our earthly bodies and in this world plagued with many trials and temptations. But we have the Lord as our help and strength and His Word to guide us through it all. May we not lose hope but keep fighting the good fight of faith!

Job had a good testimony of helping the weak and then he had his own time of need...

Behold, thou hast instructed many, and thou hast strengthened the weak hands.

Thy words have upholden him that was falling, and thou hast strengthened the feeble knees.

But now it is come upon thee, and thou faintest; it toucheth thee, and thou art troubled.

Job 4:3-5

More encouragement on the subject...

Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees. Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you.
Isaiah 35:3-4

I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.
Acts 20:35

Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees; And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.
Hebrews 12:12-13

But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumblingblock to them that are weak.

For if any man see thee which hast knowledge sit at meat in the idol's temple, shall not the conscience of him which is weak be emboldened to eat those things which are offered to idols;

And through thy knowledge shall the weak brother perish, for whom Christ died?

But when ye sin so against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, ye sin against Christ.

Wherefore, if meat make my brother to offend, I will eat no flesh while the world standeth, lest I make my brother to offend.

1 Corinthians 8:9-13

The Lord GOD hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned.
Isaiah 50:4

Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men.
1 Thessalonians 5:14

Good words for us to heed and obey...whatever may apply in our situations!

I was pondering about fruits and it being how we know people by. It's true we humans do not know peoples hearts the way God does and who will be saved in the end and who won't be and obviously we can be mistaken in our assumptions or judgments but we can know who people are by their fruits. Jesus said we can.

Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

Matthew 7:15-20

We do want to bring forth good fruits don't we sisters as we remain in the Vine and the Father prunes us to be even more fruitful! That is awesome. So may we also know others by their fruits, good or bad, and we know these come from the heart.

Well I must go now. Keep remembering the hope in Christ and press hard after Him sisters! Finding the kingdom is like the man who found one pearl of great price and sold all he had to buy it! We see a glimpse of how precious it is but I don't think our minds can fully comprehend all God has done and has laid up for us if we endure. So let us continue to endure patiently! Love to you in His holy name.

Greetings sister saints!

Another day to bear much fruit for His glory! And to labour diligently in the duties set before us! I hope you're doing well and pressing on along the narrow road.

I'm sharing some scriptures on the Lord being our refuge! Hope those edify and comfort you.

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Psalm 46:1

In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.
Psalm 62:7-8

I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
Psalm 91:2

But the LORD is my defence; and my God is the rock of my refuge.
Psalm 94:22

I cried unto thee, O LORD: I said, Thou art my refuge and my portion in the land of the living.
Psalm 142:5

In the fear of the LORD is strong confidence: and his children shall have a place of refuge.
Proverbs 14:26

May we truly find our refuge in Him...and not look to the things in this world for that. May we be thankful for all the blessings in our lives that make life easier. We don't desevere so much but we can give Him the glory and use all we have for good! All we have is His and He can take and give at any time! Blessed be His holy name!

Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.

Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;

Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;

Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.

The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.

He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.

The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.

He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever.

He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.

For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.

As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him.

For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.

Psalm 103:1-14

That's a good uplifting psalm! Our God is good! And we are blessed to have His written Word and to know Him and be known of Him!

But if any man love God, the same is known of him.
1 Corinthians 8:3

Keep holding fast to the truth sisters! May our great God be magnified!
