Today's Edification (30 June 2025)

Greetings sisters!

I hope you're all doing well in the Lord and keeping on in His holy ways of truth!

It is good to ponder on righteousness, especially in a world that is filled with unrighteousness. God's people are called righteous and holy (saints) as well so it is clear we cannot continue in sin.

Blessed are they that keep judgment, and he that doeth righteousness at all times.
Psalm 106:3

That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ; Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.
Philippians 1:10-11

But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
1 Timothy 6:11

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
2 Timothy 3:16

For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
Titus 2:11-12

A lot of things are just so very clear in the Word aren't they sisters. We surely will be without excuse. Let us do that which is right according to God and not according to man and the culture we are in.

I hope all your godly women's duties are going well too! That is what we are to adorn with isn't it, with good works. The Lord help us press on and see what we need to do and give us wisdom and guidance in it all. So strive on sisters, reaching forth to that which is before and forgetting that which is behind! Much love to you in the faith. Be strong and of good courage!

Today's Edification (29 June 2025)

Hello again sister saints!

One more day is here to live according to His purposes for us! We know that we are not our own but His and of course He made us!

And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.

Genesis 1:26-29

And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.

And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.

And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.

And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;

And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.

And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.

Genesis 2:18-23

Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

Psalm 100:3-5

What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
1 Corinthians 6:19-20

Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
Revelation 4:11

So let us serve Him the Creator and our Master and Lord. His ways truly are good and man's ways lead to trouble and death. Let us remember why we are here and the charges He has given to us. Let us glorify His name in so doing and bear witness to Him and His pure ways.

Press on in all your duties sisters! It's a blessing to be able to do what we can when we can. The Lord be with you and keep you. My love to you in the faith.

Today's Edification (28 June 2025)

Greetings sister saints!

I hope you are pressing on in the faith and walking in all the truth. We know we live in an age of great deception and there's so little we can trust in apart from our Lord and God and His Word! And even in His Word we know man has translated it into our language so we need to be aware of that too and test all things. But the faith life is one where we need to be on guard and not caught unaware or be naive about things anyway. The Lord help us.

God's word is clear that we must remain in the faith to be saved...

For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ. I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.
Jude 1:4-5

Yes it was not once saved always saved for them was it. And we take heed today and work out our salvation with fear and trembling.

Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;

And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;

And did all eat the same spiritual meat;

And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.

But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness.

Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.

1 Corinthians 10:1-6

Yes it is clear we must forsake sin and please Him to be saved through Christ, our Saviour. Faith without works is dead. So may we please Him in all our ways with His help which we totally need!

So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.
Psalm 90:12

And indeed the beginning of wisdom is to fear the Lord.

By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the LORD men depart from evil.
Proverbs 16:6

And indeed His goodness leads us to repentance. We know there is much hope and comfort and love in Him when we repent and follow Him. Let us keep striving on after Him sisters. It is a narrow road that leads to life indeed.

Until tomorrow Lord willing, farewell sisters! Love, mercy, and peace to you in His name.

Today's Edification (27 June 2025)

Greetings sisters!

I hope you are doing well in the Lord and soldiering on through any hard parts of life!

It is good to ponder on the Lord's greatness and strength! Just thinking about it is uplifting and strengthening!

Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.

He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.

Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:

But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Isaiah 40:28-31

So I share a few more here too on the subject of strength in general.

Be thou my strong habitation, whereunto I may continually resort: thou hast given commandment to save me; for thou art my rock and my fortress.
Psalm 71:3

In the fear of the LORD is strong confidence: and his children shall have a place of refuge.
Proverbs 14:26

The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.
Proverbs 18:10

The king shall joy in thy strength, O LORD; and in thy salvation how greatly shall he rejoice!
Psalm 21:1

A wise man is strong; yea, a man of knowledge increaseth strength.
Proverbs 24:5

Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength.
Nehemiah 8:10

Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees. Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you.
Isaiah 35:3-4

Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.
1 Corinthians 16:13

Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
2 Corinthians 12:10

We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.
Romans 15:1

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
Ephesians 6:10

Let us be strong sister saints for the Lord and His truth and pressing on in all our duties He has given us! Without Him we can do nothing, so let us lean on Him for all we need, for in Him we live and move and have our being.

Hold fast to the truth and sound doctrine sisters! My love to you in Jesus' name. Be strong and of good courage!

Today's Edification (26 June 2025)

Hello again sisters!

I hope you are pressing forwards in the faith and seeking first His kingdom and righteousness.

We know we must seek Him with all that we are, indeed with the whole heart.

Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.
Psalm 119:2

With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments. Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.
Psalm 119:10-11

Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law; yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart.
Psalm 119:34

The proud have forged a lie against me: but I will keep thy precepts with my whole heart.
Psalm 119:69

Psalm 119 is rather packed full of good things about seeking His ways and loving them! It is encouraging.

And we know we must love Him with all that we are too...

Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment.
Matthew 22:37-38

Yes this will indeed make us zealous for the Lord and good works!

Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
Titus 2:14

And we can know that He is enough for us. His grace is sufficient for us whatever we have to go through on this earth. He will sustain us if we cleave to Him and trust in Him. May we not have any other 'god' beside Him of whatever sort it may be. We have been also told that covetousness is idolatry so let us be content with such things as He gives and the lives He has for us as well! Thankfulness is a definite quality we are to have as His saints.

Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
Hebrews 13:5-6

So strive on in your duties my sisters, as unto the Lord! That just makes everything so extra worthwhile doesn't it! Reminds me of Matthew 25 and doing it unto the least of His brethren is as doing it unto Him. Hold fast in all truth sisters and let us follow after our precious Lord and Saviour with our whole heart. Love to you in His name.

Greetings sisters in Christ!

I am dropping in again to share some edifying and encouragement from the Word. I hope you are all striving on in the faith and being faithful in serving our Lord and Master!

May we keep seeking after that which is good according to God.

Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
Romans 12:9

Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil.
1 Thessalonians 5:21-22

There is a lot of this going on in this world and may we not do so...

Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!
Isaiah 5:20-21

May the Lord and His Holy Spirit guide us into all truth and righteousness and goodness.

(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.
Ephesians 5:9-10

Keep seeking after the goodness of the Lord sisters. He is indeed the source of all good!

And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God.
Mark 10:18

And we too have been called to be good including here for us as women...

To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.
Titus 2:5

Indeed we have been created unto good works.

This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.
Titus 3:8

Strive on sisters! Love to you in His name.

Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Hebrews 13:20-21

Today's Edification (24 June 2025)

Hello again sister saints!

I hope you are strong in the faith today and joyous in the Lord!

Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.
Philippians 4:4

Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.
Psalm 32:11

He is good to rejoice in for He has done wonderful things whereof we are glad! What a precious gift of love He sent us in Christ our Saviour! We do not deserve such grace and mercy but let us serve Him with grateful hearts like the one healed leper that returned to Jesus!

We know the great gap that is between God and man and when you realize how short we fall in our human nature unredeemed, you see His great goodness in His forgiveness more clearly.

Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.
Luke 7:47

It's good to think on pure things in such a world as this. I'm sharing some scriptures on it here!

Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
Psalm 24:3-5

Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
Matthew 5:8

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
Philippians 4:8

Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned.
1 Timothy 1:5

Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience.
1 Timothy 3:9

Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men's sins: keep thyself pure.
1 Timothy 5:22

Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
2 Timothy 2:22

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
James 3:17

Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently.
1 Peter 1:22

And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
1 John 3:3

Yes let us purge out that which is evil and be holy as He is holy as we have been called to be. No this is not self-righteousness but just our duty and service to obey our Master, and nothing to be thanked for as this parable speaks of.

But which of you, having a servant plowing or feeding cattle, will say unto him by and by, when he is come from the field, Go and sit down to meat?

And will not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink?

Doth he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I trow not.

So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.

Luke 17:7-10

This is good too...

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

Romans 12:1-3

So strive on in the faith and obedience to our Lord, sisters! Love to you in His name.

Today's Edification (23 June 2025)

Greetings godly women, my sisters in the faith!

I am dropping in with a little edifying after another busy day for me here. I'm sure you're all keeping occupied in whatever good things the Lord has in your life! Keep pressing on sisters! May the Lord help us not grow weary in any good thing. We must endure to the end in the faith to be saved and so we must also keep going in the duties the Lord has in front of us. We will also reap what we sow.

Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

Galatians 6:7-10

A sister shared this today too and it also says about receiving the same from the Lord, reaping what we sow...

We know the scriptures speak about rewards and those are not always good rewards but also bad rewards for bad works. Let us do good in the Spirit.

Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.
Colossians 3:24

But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.
Luke 6:35

Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.
1 Corinthians 3:8

But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
Matthew 6:6

For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.
Matthew 16:27

And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
Revelation 22:12

May our works be pleasing to Him because we believe in our Saviour and know the way He has called us to!

Strive on my sisters as good soldiers of our Lord's. We do not get entangled with the affairs of this life as our citizenship and kingdom is in heaven. May we be preparing and ready, watching for our Lord's return. Love to you in His name.

Today's Edification (22 June 2025)

Hello sisters!

Hopefully you're doing well wherever you are on God's huge earth! We shine as lights wherever we have been called. May we uphold His ways in our own lives and seek to walk blameless in all things with His help.

It is essential and wise to consider this...

For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee. Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
Romans 11:21-22

Let us continue in His goodness through faith in Christ and seeking to truly do that which is pleasing to Him, keeping His Word. There can be no half-heartedness, no lukewarmness about our following Christ. We know satan is as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour and no doubt he preys on the weak. We do not want this to happen either...

I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.

So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.

As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

Revelation 3:15-19

Let us be zealous and repent and know we need Him so much. We can only be strong with His help and by feeding on and living by His Word. We must cast off sins and weights that beset us. And if we have opportunity we are to also help those who are weak in the faith too and care for saints in general if we have some in our lives.

Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.

But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;

Hebrews 3:12-14

Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:

Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

Hebrews 10:23-27

We are really blessed to have so much guidance in the Word and we are without excuse. Let us be responsible for our actions and examine them to see if they are in line with the Word of truth and pleasing our holy God.

Keep pressing on in your godly women's duties too sisters, whether that is being a faithful helper to a husband, caring for and raising children, working a job to support yourself, keeping the house in order, serving others, or whatever else the Lord has for you. May we adorn with good works that are necessary and useful and not vain dead works. Let us serve with joy and contentment in all the Lord has given us to do!

Peace, love, and mercy to you in the faith. Farewell. The Lord keep and sustain you! If He wills, I will be back here again tomorrow.

Salutations to my godly sisters!

Salute every saint in Christ Jesus. The brethren which are with me greet you.
Philippians 4:21

I hope you are doing well, strong in the faith in Christ! Yes we must abide in Him. And we are His children by faith in Him. It's precious that we can even have this hope! Our God is good and merciful!

This scripture is precious to ponder...

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Matthew 11:28-30

Rest for our souls is precious. And pondering His gentleness and lowliness is too.

Tell ye the daughter of Sion, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass.
Matthew 21:5

We too are to be like this...

Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
Matthew 5:5

But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.
1 Peter 3:4

Though the LORD be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off.
Psalm 138:6

When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly is wisdom.
Proverbs 11:2

Surely he scorneth the scorners: but he giveth grace unto the lowly.
Proverbs 3:34

Better it is to be of an humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud.
Proverbs 16:19

Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Matthew 5:3

There are many more scriptures that give us the picture of what we are to be like. Reminds me also of how we are to take wrong and reward good for evil. We're blessed to know what pleases our Father in heaven. Let us love Him and obey His commands. It is for His glory and our good too!

Hold fast sisters! Love to you in the faith. Be strong and courageous in the truth!

Hello again sisters!

I hope you're all doing well in the Lord and pressing through all the physical duties or trials of the life you have! I had another really busy day but it's good to refocus on the Lord and His Word and refresh in it and so I am sure for you too!

I'm sharing this scripture to ponder today...

When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:

And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:

And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:

Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?

When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?

Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?

And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

Matthew 25:31-40

It is good to realize that what we do 'unto the least of His brethren' you do it to Christ...or not. That adds quite a seriousness to things doesn't it. Let's ponder that sisters.

Love to you in His name.

Greetings sisters!

Here is another day to strive for the Lord and the glorious hope to come for the faithful! I have had a busy day with travel and helping at the children's. But I'm sure my sisters are keeping occupied with a variety of good works! Keep going sisters as unto the Lord who we strive to please.

I'm sharing this scripture because it's good...

But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak.

For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end:

That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself,

Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee.

And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.

For men verily swear by the greater: and an oath for confirmation is to them an end of all strife.

Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath:

That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:

Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;

Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

Hebrews 6:9-20

We have such a sure hope to press towards! God is faithful! So let us be to Him sisters.

Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?

Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

Matthew 24:44-46

His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
Matthew 25:23

Let us keep on humbly serving Him in meekness and love. We do not deserve the least of all His mercies but He has been so good to us! Glory to His name alone!

Love to you sisters. Strive on in the faith!

Today's Edification (18 June 2025)

Hello sister saints!

God's mercies are abundant again and so I am back here sharing in Him! Let us focus on Him and all His goodness!

Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: let such as love thy salvation say continually, The LORD be magnified.
Psalm 40:16

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
John 14:27

These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
John 16:33

Yes He alone is our source of peace and hope and joy. The world always has trials and tribulations and darkness in it but how thankful we can be to have such hope in Christ if we are His and abide in Him!

A sister and I were sharing about how God is unchanging and yet we are thankful that He does change in response to man's actions. And it also makes us fear as His promises to us can change based on our actions. It is interesting and important to ponder on it. We can see here that God gave a promise but it wasn't to be because of sin...

Wherefore the LORD God of Israel saith, I said indeed that thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now the LORD saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed.
1 Samuel 2:30

And of course there's much throughout the Word about it.

If ye forsake the LORD, and serve strange gods, then he will turn and do you hurt, and consume you, after that he hath done you good.
Joshua 24:20

And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the LORD searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever.
1 Chronicles 28:9

And he went out to meet Asa, and said unto him, Hear ye me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin; The LORD is with you, while ye be with him; and if ye seek him, he will be found of you; but if ye forsake him, he will forsake you.
2 Chronicles 15:2

Our actions have consequences and sin indeed separates us from God. Let us heed this and flee all sin, indeed flee every appearance of evil.

Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
James 4:8

We see in the parable of the prodigal son and his father and throughout the Word that God loves for people to return unto Him. But so many do not want Him. Nope, they are just fine without Him though they wouldn't exist of course without Him. It's sad but let us take heed unto our ways and cleave to the Lord with purpose of heart lest He withdraw from us.

Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
Isaiah 55:7

So let us keep close to Him and walk in all His ways with His help! We have so much hope in His grace and mercy to go forth serving Him!

Love and pace to you in His name. Keep pressing on in all the Lord has given you sisters!
