Today's Encouragement (10 April 2023)

Greetings godly sisters! 

Hope this finds you well and standing fast in the truth! 

Look at the high calling we have sisters... 

But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

1 Peter 1:15-16

Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

Matthew 5:48

We sure have such a great responsibility and the Lord will help us do our best! 

Scripture reading to edify... 

Beautiful autumn day for working in the garden... 

Praise God for every day to serve Him no matter what the circumstances are. He has spared us from so much (like the instant death we deserve) and we have that hope to come of being saved eternally if we overcome to the end! 

Titus 2...I'd serve you all a plate if I could... 

As it says in that scripture I read...we are to be content with food and raiment. We all have so much more don't we. 

The tongue of the wise useth knowledge aright: but the mouth of fools poureth out foolishness.

Proverbs 15:2

Yeah maybe some of us sisters have to hear a lot of that latter one if we're near the world. It can surprise me the amount of empty and vain things that the world and even especially those who claim Christ can pour out of their mouths. But we want to make sure our words have meaning to them and are not idle useless vain foolish. 

But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. 

For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

Matthew 12:36-37

We know words come from our heart. I'm thankful we sisters are under God's control in all areas of our lives. And we strive to be blameless and unrebukeable for our holy and great God don't we. And sometimes less words are better in the end. We want to use our words to encourage the saints don't we sisters however we can. 

Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

Ephesians 4:29

And we can use our words whether spoken or written to share the gospel or warn and rebuke those who need it in love to try to help save their souls. We know the tongue can be deadly and hard to tame and we see or have heard the damage it can do...but we sisters remember that high calling I shared about at the start and we strive to be pure in our words.

Today's Encouragement (9 April 2023)

Hello sister saints!

Hope you're doing great in the Lord today and holding fast and striving on in the truth no matter what! I'm back here again doing my best to share some edifying. The Lord always allows me to share something as I'm definitely not a natural writer so I just keep pressing on and hope I can encourage you somehow and even if no one is reading the Lord sees and we are to do things for Him first. But I hope to bless my sisters somehow. The sisters I know love to give and I am encouraged by what they share!

Here's another scripture to edify my sisters... 

So much in His Word to make sure we're putting into practice. 

I know I've shared it before but a picture like that most always reminds me of this parable... 

Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: 

But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. 

But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. 

So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? 

He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? 

But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. 

Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

Matthew 13:24-30

Yeah sisters we're growing together until the harvest aren't we. It's also a great field for us to work in however we can with the gospel isn't it.

So many thousands and millions of creatures and things He made and that it all works together so well! All people have the witness of His creation in front of them every day. 

Well that's it from me for now. Hold fast sisters and keep pressing forward not getting discouraged or weary in anything!

Today's Encouragement (8 April 2023)

Greetings sisters!

The Lord gave us this day. We know life can go past very fast...and then it will be eternity. We don't want to live for this life or to live in selfish pleasure but to serve and please the Lord and be preparing for our real life in eternity if we overcome in this one. 

And we godly women may have a lot to deal with of simple things like food and clothing and other general housekeeping. But despite all that we are seeking His kingdom and righteousness most and that also includes how we do our work and what we do and don't do doesn't it. 

Scripture reading to edify... 

We're blessed to have His Word to live by. 

This is the mighty God we serve... 

And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?

Mark 4:39-40

So let us trust Him and not be faithless and fearful! 

I'd serve you some tuna bake if I could... 

And we'd be thankful the Lord provided food to keep us going serving Him! 

Hope all your Titus 2 works are going well as I'm sure most all of you would have a lot of those to do. We know such works are pleasing to the Lord and so we want to do them also in ways that are pleasing to Him like without complaining which we know He is not pleased with. 

Do all things without murmurings and disputings: That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;

Philippians 2:14-15

Today's Encouragement (7 April 2023)

Greetings sisters! 

Hope you're holding fast to sound doctrine and keeping the right traditions and faith once delivered! 

Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.

2 Thessalonians 2:15

Baby garden blessings coming along... 

Harvest blessings.... 

We have an amazing God to create all that to feed mankind! 

Scripture reading to edify... 

Thinking about the difference between people's words and their hearts. 

And they come unto thee as the people cometh, and they sit before thee as my people, and they hear thy words, but they will not do them: for with their mouth they shew much love, but their heart goeth after their covetousness.

Ezekiel 33:31

This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.

Matthew 15:8

Makes me also think of all the words of the songs they love too. They may love to sing many emotional words to Jesus and say they love Him...but it's not in their heart to obey. We know to love is to obey. 

And we know satan knows and quotes scripture too so we can't think someone is biblical if they do or if they seem to know them very well. 

Hold fast sisters and let's not be deceived by anyone. Test all things!

Today's Encouragement (6 April 2023)

 

Greetings sisters!

Hope you're striving on in the truth today! So very much deception there is everywhere. But I'm thankful there is truth in the midst of that sea of lies. We diligently seek out the truth don't we sisters. 

I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.

1 John 2:21 

Keep loving the truth sisters! 

Cleaned the oven with a method of putting on a paste of baking soda/vinegar/water and baking for 45 minutes at 100C/212F with a dish of water to help keep it from drying too much. And then scrubbing and wiping it all out. It worked quite well! 

And then I did a bit of baking... 

Just sharing some of His creations too... 

The light of the righteous rejoiceth: but the lamp of the wicked shall be put out.

Proverbs 13:9 

So very much He made! And we know we as humans have a great place in His creation...but we want to be humble knowing our place before such a great God. We don't deserve to live but He is merciful isn't He sisters! And ahead is a glorious future for His faithful children even! Now that surely is more than we deserve but we humbly serve Him. 

Another scripture reading to edify... 

Lots of instruction for us women in there. I'm thankful to be told so we don't have to wonder! And God knows our hearts if we are truly doing the best we can to obey it all...or not. 

I hope all your various duties as godly women are going well. All around the world His few faithful daughters are obediently serving Him...I love to think of that:-) They're not out seeking for fame and wealth and popularity or being loud and wicked no. Just quietly serving the Lord in whatever calling they have and content to have meek and quiet spirits and be helpers and servants, yet God can use the weak things in the world's eyes to confound the mighty we know! Keep going sisters...no matter what as He is so worthy!

Today's Encouragement (5 April 2023)

Greetings sisters!

Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied.

Jude 1:2

(Thank you sister for sharing that this morning! It's uplifting!) 

When we focus on the Lord and His greatness and all He has done it sure tends to diminish anything we may have to endure don't you think? We want to be in our rightful place under God don't we and not lifted up in any kind of pride. 

Like this other scripture a sister shared... 

For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

Romans 12:3

All we have is from the Lord and our Creator anyway.

Hope you're doing well sisters whichever corner of the earth you are in! There may not be much true faith left...but we want to be women of great faith don't we. He is faithful and worthy of our trust and faith. Hold fast and keep fighting the good fight of faith!
