Today's Edification (27 March 2024)

Greetings daughters of God!

I hope you have your heart and mind on the Lord and seeking after His pure ways!

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Matthew 6:33-34

Here's the final Matthew reading to edify you today...

Thankful for His good pure Word and all our Saviour did for us!

The beginning of strife is as when one letteth out water: therefore leave off contention, before it be meddled with.

He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both are abomination to the LORD.

Proverbs 17:14-15

(For all the Athenians and strangers which were there spent their time in nothing else, but either to tell, or to hear some new thing.)

Acts 17:21

You won't see a lot of 'new' things here on my blog most times sisters. There will be a lot of the Word and just my encouragement to you and some thoughts and some of my daily life and experiences and such. Let us not get distracted here on sharing confusion and speaking of things we do not fully know about or things that displease the Lord. May God be glorified here. If you don't like tons of scriptures...perhaps this isn't the place for you...but I hope you do, as His Word is the best and all we really need! We can use it to edify (build up) others!

We are to flee many things in this faith life...

But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

1 Timothy 6:11-12

Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

2 Timothy 2:22

Let us follow all those good things!

Let's refresh ourselves in the pure ways of God for His saints...

Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,

Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;

Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;

Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

1 Corinthians 13:4-7

And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

Ephesians 4:32

Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;

Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.

And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.

And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

Colossians 3:12-15

Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.

Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;

Romans 12:9-10

And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.

1 Peter 4:8

Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous:

 1 Peter 3:8

Greet ye one another with a kiss of charity. Peace be with you all that are in Christ Jesus. Amen.

 1 Peter 5:14

Awesome commands God gave us. Not to just pull out on their own of course but take into account with all the others.

I have been pondering something. God made us humans with feelings and emotions and while of course some can be bad, I do not believe we should kill these lest we become cold and dead. Something to ponder sisters. I encourage you to go study the NT about how saints are to relate to one another and study what the real works of the flesh are that need to be killed with a vengeance as listed in the Word. May His Word be our guide and not what we think. Of course that doesn't mean we accommodate or are soft on sin, no, but I studied this and it was different to what I was hearing some seem to say.

Paul often commended or greeted faithful saints by name in his letters. It's a nice glimpse into their lives back then and we can be encouraged still today.

I commend unto you Phebe our sister, which is a servant of the church which is at Cenchrea:

That ye receive her in the Lord, as becometh saints, and that ye assist her in whatsoever business she hath need of you: for she hath been a succourer of many, and of myself also.

Romans 16:1-2

Let us only fear God sisters! I do not fear what any one can do unto me...let anyone say what they like or threaten or throw me in jail or kill me, that's the cost for the faith and we know extreme things are coming closer. Many have had that happen to them before and even in some places today...but we are in a time of great blessing and peace and safety. But let us be ready and we know trials and persecutions will be part of our lives. There is no escaping it if you live godly. (Well it may be hard in the flesh and there may be fear to overcome but I trust what the Lord said to only fear Him and to not fear as He is our helper!)

And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

Matthew 10:28

So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

Hebrews 13:6

Let's fear Him.

Good pure and true creations in a dark world...

Here's some simple evening encouragement for you too...

Strive on for the Lord sisters and stand boldly for Him! Keep fighting as the spiritual battles rage hot. The Lord is my portion and He is enough. Is that the case for you sisters?

Unfeigned love to you all,

Today's Edification (25 March 2024)

Greetings sisters!

A new day of His grace and mercy and goodness and love for His daughters! Focus on Him!

Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: let such as love thy salvation say continually, The LORD be magnified.

Psalm 40:16

O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.

Psalm 34:3

And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord, And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.

Luke 1:46-47

Amen sisters!

After all what's gone on lately and as the spiritual battles rage it really did make me feel like 'going into Arabia' (like brother Paul did) just with the Word and shutting off all outside influences that are trying to tear you left and right. But we know we can't always do that and it's all our good reasonable service to face head-on all we must and no I don't know what Paul did when he was there but we know Jesus went into the wilderness to pray to the Father at times. But we just keep going as we can't get out of this world. We just press on doing our best. And use the Word of God as our sharp sword!

I got to be washed in the Word by listening to scripture the whole way on my three hour trip to the children's. It was awesome! Filled me with joy at how pure and good and trustworthy it is! I listened all the way from Titus 1 to the end of Revelation. God's pure ways are so good. And indeed His Word corrects and guides us in the way we ought to walk. I wanted to keep stopping and picking out scriptures I liked and that jumped out at me to share here with you but then my trip would have taken ten hours and I have to be a good servant too so let's just say it was super edifying!

I did stop and read the next chapter of Matthew here...

Thankful for all Christ went through for us. I'm sure it's hard for us to fully grasp because we just read it and we were not there seeing the brutality of it. But let us be thankful and remember why He came...to save us from our sins along with other things. Let us be like the one leper out of the ten that returned to thank and glorify Him which would be following after Him and obeying Him because we're so thankful He made a way for us back to the Father! He is glorified in this!

But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

Hebrews 2:9-10

I do still remember a few scriptures that stood out...

For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

Hebrews 10:36

It says after sisters! After doing the will of God we get the promise. Hold fast and let's keep being doers of the Word sisters!

Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.

James 3:10

Yeah we want to bless others and not curse them in however ways that would mean. It doesn't mean we can't call out sin of course. Good to ponder on.

But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Revelation 21:8

I knew there were two scriptures about lies not entering heaven but I forgot about that one. Yeah and we can remember Ananias and Sapphira for a fearful example of what God thinks of that sin.

Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: For our God is a consuming fire.

Hebrews 12:28-29

I encourage you to keep feeding on His Word sisters! We know we have rejected the words of man in all their garbage books and false teachers and the media and such. So we have a lot more time to be filling up with the pure word of truth!

Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings,

As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.

1 Peter 2:1-3

Keep your sword sharp sisters! We need to do much battle and have all our armour on!

And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

Ephesians 6:17

Remember when someone brings you a scripture which can look very convincing as being something different than we are believing or doing we need to remember the rest of the scriptures and that Jesus countered scripture (from satan) with scripture. We also need to diligently search the scriptures...

These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.
Acts 17:11

We need to read the context and the whole chapter and the whole book even too don't we sisters. We know we are to live by EVERY word of it. I want to keep the phrase "it is also written" in my mind all the time when someone brings the Word to perhaps try to convince me or whatever their motive is even if it is well meaning. You can get horrible theology if you just take some scriptures.

A woman asked for my thoughts on 1 Corinthians 3:10-15 about the works that get burned up and she mentioned the judgement seat of Christ. I basically just gave her scriptures to go study. We know we don't need anyone to teach us as the Word and Spirit are the best teachers. Of course there is a good place for sound biblical teaching which can be super helpful...but I don't teach theology as a woman. I do share some emails here for testing, accountability, and edification. So lots more of the Word ahead here sisters!

"While I cannot teach on that scripture you brought up I would encourage you also to read Philippians 1:12-18 about how people were teaching the truth of Christ but with the wrong motive. And here I share some scriptures that talk of the judgement in general to help us remember to be ready to face judgement.

We know Jesus is God. So I share these scriptures for you to ponder and study yourself.

Acts 10:42

And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead.

Romans 2:16

In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.

1 Corinthians 4:4

For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judgeth me is the Lord.

2 Timothy 4:1

I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;

1 Peter 1:17

And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:

1 Peter 4:17-18

For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?

Revelation 20:12

And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

Hope those help too. God's Word speaks for itself and then there may be things we just will need to wait on God to understand or perform and we just need to be ready to be judged...according to our works. That's clear."

Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.

2 Corinthians 5:9-11

Why would there need to be terror of the Lord if it was just a case of losing some rewards then?

But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

1 Corinthians 9:27

And how could you be a castaway?

Good to ponder. Let's keep labouring to be acceptable unto Him sisters.

This verse has been coming to mind...

When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

1 Corinthians 13:11

We should be growing upwards in our faith life too and definitely not acting childish or foolish. Let us be wise and self controlled and that starts with fearing God.

And remember it's loving to make people aware of their faults so they can repent. I know most times people don't see it as loving but it's loving God and others with true godly love and not fleshly love. You may not want to do it because it may hurt them but we know it's for their good and for God's glory. But we do it in love and kindness and all the ways God's Word tells us to...try our best to anyway.

Pretty still river creation with reflections. Peaceful and pure.

And praise God for safe travels. I get to see the cheery sunflower creations again too...

🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻

I'll have some different serving duties for awhile. I hope your good works are going well too sisters! Keep pressing on in them knowing they are pleasing to the Lord.

She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.

Proverbs 31:27

And finally I share some scriptures on the whole big concept of being born from above and being God's children etc. Hope it's greatly edifying as it was to me!

Lord willing I will share again here tomorrow. I'm thinking of and praying for you all...well all I know about and we can pray for all the saints worldwide and even others like it says in 1 Timothy 2. God wants none to perish.

Be strong sisters...in the power of His might! Stand! Endure.

Love, peace, and joy to you all,

Today's Edification (23 March 2024)

Greetings sisters who love the Lord!

It's a new day to serve Him with a willing heart!

But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.

Deuteronomy 4:29

Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.

With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments.

The proud have forged a lie against me: but I will keep thy precepts with my whole heart.

Psalm 119:2,10,69

There is much in the Word about the heart.

Only God can change hearts!

A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

Ezekiel 36:26

Yet we know this is true...

The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.
Jeremiah 17:9-10

And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man.

For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,

Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:

All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.

 Mark 7:20-23

Let us not be defiled by any of those (or other) evil things. We know nothing that defiles will enter the gates of heaven.

And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.

Revelation 21:27

But there is hope for all of course because God's goodness leads us to repentance! Christ can cleanse us from all evil! There is hope in Him!

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

2 Peter 3:9

I don't want anyone to perish either...in outer darkness, and fire, in weeping and gnashing of teeth and where the worm dies not. I hope all repent.

Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
Matthew 5:6

I was pondering that scripture. That's the heart of all us sisters isn't it. We want what is right before the Lord. I couldn't begin to list everything that is right! We can simply read basically anywhere in His Word (the NT for today) and see what those are.

Matthew 26 reading here...

And some scriptures on mercy here...

Although there may be storms all around...the Lord can give us a great peace and keep us settled in Him. He can establish us on the solid Rock!

But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

1 Peter 5:10-11

But there is a time and season for everything and it's OK to have low times and one's of great uprooting and re-sorting out of your thoughts etc. His Word helps us! Sometimes storms leave a great aftermath to clean up too so that can take time and then there's rebuilding to do. But we have to be ready for the next storm that comes! Look to Christ through it all sisters!

Good peaceful creations...

Let this be us...standing for the Lord no matter what and where...

Titus 2 works and blessings glimpses...

The ants are a people not strong, yet they prepare their meat in the summer;
Proverbs 30:25
His animal creations are hard working and keeping busy in what the Lord made them to do. Let us godly women be too!

Lots more headcoverings cut out and started sewing...

Going to be a very hot oily-smelling sewing machine ahead! Hope it holds up! Major sewing works which I'm thankful the Lord allows me to have to do. Got to try to get them done before I have to travel to the children's again.

I was also pondering how the internet has it's limitations. (We all know that!) But it has many blessings too. But I was also thinking how we don't want to blame it's limitations on others. Say we were communicating with someone and we thought we knew them very well and they weren't exactly the same as the way they seemed to be on the internet and we may well be disappointed. But is that really the persons fault or is it the limitations of the internet? Just something to ponder sisters. We do need to be careful. And we all ought not to think too highly of ourselves or of anyone and we all need to keep humble knowing how much we need the Lord and His help and mercy and grace as we strive in Him.

With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
Ephesians 4:2-3

Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.
Philippians 2:3

Oh how good are the Lord's ways! And how sad it is that they are not to be found walked in much on this earth by men. I long to walk in His ways and that others may too as they are awesome. Everything would work so well if everyone did. I am striving to. I know I can fail but I want to keep doing better for His glory.

He that covereth a transgression seeketh love; but he that repeateth a matter separateth very friends.
Proverbs 17:9

An ungodly man diggeth up evil: and in his lips there is as a burning fire. A froward man soweth strife: and a whisperer separateth chief friends.
Proverbs 16:27-28

Let us let God's Word strengthen us to the truth of this life. His Word says it all. There is no new thing under the sun or in the heart of man.

For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

Hebrews 4:15

For every high priest taken from among men is ordained for men in things pertaining to God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins:

Who can have compassion on the ignorant, and on them that are out of the way; for that he himself also is compassed with infirmity.

Hebrews 5:1-2

Pondering on our Saviour who became like one of us!

And when he was at the place, he said unto them, Pray that ye enter not into temptation.

And he was withdrawn from them about a stone's cast, and kneeled down, and prayed,

Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.

And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.

And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.

Luke 22:40-44

Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared;

Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;

And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;

Hebrews 5:7-9

Deep things to ponder. We know the faith life is not all one of joy and rejoicing although there's always cause for that in the Lord no matter what! But there is a very great seriousness to the faith too and there is never a time to take anything flippantly and call it joy in the Lord. No we need to be sober minded right through it all.

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

1 Peter 5:8-9

I love that word, STEDFAST!

For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;

Hebrews 3:14

A woman (who was one of my sewing customers) sent me a short email encouraging me to look into the early Christian's writings. My answer to her was this...

"Thank you for reaching out. I am doing really well...as the Lord is good and yes I am sincerely trying to serve Him. I hope you're doing well.

I really believe we should only read the Bible as our source of truth.

Paul said this...

Acts 20:29-30

For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.

So I don't want to be deceived by any man. False doctrine came in so fast so the best thing to do is only read and obey the written word of God. We can be safe doing that!

Matthew 4:4

But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

2 Timothy 3:16

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

His Word is more than enough!

Hope that explanation makes sense! I hope you will also follow the Lord through the scriptures alone. While there may have been some godly people writing much back then, I really don't know who they were...so it's best to stick to scripture and make sure we are being godly ourselves!

Psalm 119:140

Thy word is very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it.

I would love to talk about how one can find eternal life with you if you would like. There is only one narrow way through Jesus Christ but there are things we must do and know about to get there! Would love to talk about that with you as I do care about souls. Let me know."

His Word is enough amen sisters?! In these perilous time we live in, it's even worse to know who to trust. Trust His Word and cling tightly to it. Man may have a lot of truth or very close to truth yet deny Him by his actions. But that is not the Word's fault of course but the failings of man. His truth stands no matter how terribly it has been and is being abused by most.

Oh the pride of man to think they know everything about you and know your heart, motives or thoughts. For the record, I do not think I am better than anyone in the slightest. (God's ways are better yes which I am trying hard to walk in.) I am thankful for the mercy of the Lord for my sins and would love to have more of a ministry in the gospel...IF...the Lord had that for me but He doesn't, today anyway. Don't let anyone make you feel bad for the calling the Lord has for you sisters. Paul said...abide in the calling you were called. It could change one day but just because you're not out on the streets sitting with the homeless and sharing the gospel with mostly naked people doesn't mean you don't want to or wouldn't, in the slightest! I would love and rejoice for those people to be set free in Christ! Plus it wouldn't necessarily be wise for me to have such a ministry on my own. My quiet calling as a servant is not because I feel defiled by being around the world. Not at all! I never think such thoughts but I am limited in what I can do as a single woman as well. God knows. What I can do is search the internet for email addresses to email the gospel to and however I can when I go out into the world.

We are just responsible for keeping ourselves unspotted from the world and Jesus prayed the Father would keep us from evil and not take us out of the world. We are not to love the world or the things of it or be a friend of the world but we are not defiled by it no matter how much of a trial it could be. You can overlook such things to get to souls especially (but no need to set the world in front of our eyes when that's not what we're doing.) God doesn't want people to hide in caves from the world! That I do know. He wants us to be lights and salt!

Sisters, let's learn not to make horrible false judgements. I'm also thankful for lessons in what not to be and do from others. Always something good comes from bad if we love the Lord. I try my best not to repeat them. Oh the pride of people who seem to think they have it all going on and know everything about your heart. Rest in God sisters...He knows. Oh how He does know.

My friends scorn me: but mine eye poureth out tears unto God.

Job 16:20

So I returned, and considered all the oppressions that are done under the sun: and behold the tears of such as were oppressed, and they had no comforter; and on the side of their oppressors there was power; but they had no comforter.

Ecclesiastes 4:1

Please go and read what the Pharisees really were doing in Matthew 23, sisters before you allow someone to call you one. Don't let anyone tear you down from your pure devotion to Christ being thankful and content in the calling He has and doing what you can to offer hope to the lost and hopeless...even if it is 'little'. Now who's possibly the Pharisees in that? God be Judge. Beware of those doing 'many wonderful works' who may perhaps look down on others who can't. Who could possibly be the Pharisee if someone does that? God knows and let's search our hearts.

Could you not add to what the Pharisee praying to God was saying..."I preach the gospel to the publicans and harlots, I do this, and I do that wonderful work and not like that other person who is just a quiet servant or a mother etc who doesn't share the gospel as much." or "I thank thee that I don't go near those saints who have issues they're struggling to overcome." Beware of such hypocrisy or similar, sisters or whatever it is. God knows. We can all be guilty of that if we aren't careful too. I sure don't want to. 😔

I know we all need to look in the mirror and search our hearts...I do know that and humbly do and know I could miss something but let us humbly submit to whatever calling the Lord has for us and not covet something else or be discontent. May humility reign in us.

My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with respect of persons.

For if there come unto your assembly a man with a gold ring, in goodly apparel, and there come in also a poor man in vile raiment;

And ye have respect to him that weareth the gay clothing, and say unto him, Sit thou here in a good place; and say to the poor, Stand thou there, or sit here under my footstool:

Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges of evil thoughts?

Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?

James 2:1-5

Then said he also to him that bade him, When thou makest a dinner or a supper, call not thy friends, nor thy brethren, neither thy kinsmen, nor thy rich neighbours; lest they also bid thee again, and a recompence be made thee.

But when thou makest a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind:

And thou shalt be blessed; for they cannot recompense thee: for thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just.

Luke 14:12-14

I was wondering what a 'lie hurricane' feels like. That's when you keep getting so many lies hurled at or about you that you can feel overwhelmed. Don't let satan get you down sisters. Christ reigns and He is our firm foundation that no storm can beat us off of!

Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like:

He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.

Luke 6:47-48

In Christ, we will prevail! He has gone before us and we are no greater than our Master who suffered such contradiction of sinners against Himself.

For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.

Hebrews 12:3

From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy.

Psalm 61:2-3

Keep pressing on the narrow hard road sisters...not growing weary in well doing! It will be worth it all!

By honour and dishonour, by evil report and good report: as deceivers, and yet true;

As unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and, behold, we live; as chastened, and not killed;

As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.

2 Corinthians 6:8-10

Fervent love to my sisters,

Today's Edification (21 March 2024)

Salutations to my sisters who obey the Lord!

A new day of His mercies to keep pressing on forwards in His hope!

He is a God of hope! Hope. That's a precious gift. We have hope in Him and so do others! It is not hopeless in that we will always have our sins hanging over our heads! No He forgives when we repent! He remembers them no more...praise Him! We can move forward and we can get up and keep going in the truth! Let us comfort ourselves in this thought of His forgiveness and give Him glory by embracing it!

For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

Hebrews 8:12

He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.

For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.

As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him.

For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.

Psalm 103:10-14

A sister and I were talking today. I shared a few scriptures on comfort with her but wanted to share more with you all here on this audio below. There are a lot in His Word! We are commanded to do that to one another in fact. Commanded and we are not in disobedience or the flesh if we do it of course! We are walking in the Spirit and loving God and each other. If God has put saints in our lives we need to deal with them as Christ would have us, the best we can. Sure we need to be ready to walk alone for the truth...and I have every intention of doing so but God has given us what's in front of us. I will continue to post on this blog to love my sisters and edify you and I will continue to communicate with those who are striving on to love and edify also...as long as the Lord wills! I want to be faithful in what the Lord has given me...today. Tomorrow may be different but I live in today.

So here's some scriptures on comfort...

The sister shared this scripture...which goes along with comfort too.

If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies,

Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.

Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.

Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

Philippians 2:1-7

Another sister shared this...

Seems to be a theme going on of comfort among us. God is our comfort and He comforts us and then we can comfort those who are suffering and have been hurt and stumbled. Jesus is the good Shepherd and there can be healing and comfort among the sheep of God. And we can get up and strive on for His glory!

Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.
1 Thessalonians 5:11

We never can overlook sin but we sure can help each other strive on in the truth and grow wherever the Lord has us and in the callings we have been given. We rejoice today in saints striving on!

We know it sure isn't sinful to have or want saints in our lives if God gives them to us. I will not cast out anyone who comes to me seeking fellowship if they are truly striving on!

For God is my record, how greatly I long after you all in the bowels of Jesus Christ.

And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment;

That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ;

Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.

Philippians 1:8-11

We have brother Paul as a very good example on how to treat saints.

Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

James 1:27

God cares for widows...and we are commanded to as well.

Cursed be he that perverteth the judgment of the stranger, fatherless, and widow. And all the people shall say, Amen.
Deuteronomy 27:19

A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.
Psalm 68:5

Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.
Isaiah 1:17

Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Execute true judgment, and shew mercy and compassions every man to his brother:

And oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless, the stranger, nor the poor; and let none of you imagine evil against his brother in your heart.

But they refused to hearken, and pulled away the shoulder, and stopped their ears, that they should not hear.
Zechariah 7:9-11

Matthew 25 reading here...

Lots of good in there. Pondering especially that last parable about how we treat people as doing or not doing it as unto Christ. 🤔

But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.
Matthew 5:39

Ye have condemned and killed the just; and he doth not resist you.
James 5:6

We see the just and the innocent may indeed need to take wrong in this life, quietly, knowing God will avenge. Christ's kingdom is not of this world.

Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.

John 18:36

This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

2 Timothy 3:1-5

Oh how perilous the times are! Let us not be deceived or surprised.

And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.

Luke 21:8

We sisters are always examining what we do or we sure should be! We do not and definitely should no stay in one state without change. It should be upward! There may be things I do on this blog that I will come to see I could do better in time. It is refining and maturing to be more God glorifying. As I shared before I repented of posting a street preaching video link here on my blog (which I removed) that included a lot of biblical nakedness in them (and some crude words also). And while I still do believe there is a rightful place for some street preaching videos to train others up and edify...I am not against them per se if done well, but I came to the realization that I was perhaps in the sin of stumbling others by putting vileness in front of their eyes that is completely unnecessary. And I had a hard time watching some of them at times without having to avert my own eyes all over the screen to avoid fixing my eyes on what I shouldn't be. So I see this as a good change the Lord led me to to greater holiness and blamelessness. I do not know why anyone would think this is a bad change do you? I can't understand why they do. Well I can't understand a lot of things what people say and think. It's confusing and unreasonable. Stand for holiness sisters. And have good biblical reasons why you do all things and be ready to give a clear unconfusing biblical answer to others.

Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.

1 Peter 3:16

These are an abomination to God...

A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

Proverbs 6:1 9

Make no friendship with an angry man; and with a furious man thou shalt not go:

Lest thou learn his ways, and get a snare to thy soul.

Proverbs 22:24-25

A talebearer revealeth secrets: but he that is of a faithful spirit concealeth the matter.
Proverbs 11:13

Where no wood is, there the fire goeth out: so where there is no talebearer, the strife ceaseth.

As coals are to burning coals, and wood to fire; so is a contentious man to kindle strife.

The words of a talebearer are as wounds, and they go down into the innermost parts of the belly.

Proverbs 26:20-22

God's mercies...think on how great they are each new day, sisters!

So let us also be to those around us.

Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
Matthew 5:7

Would share passionfuit on yogurt:-) Good extra blessings He provided!

(peaceful creations)

Should be a lot of this ahead...

More than we ever had I think. Or I don't know but either way I'm thankful.

I got quite a few headcoverings cut out...

Thankful for various good works to occupy in!

I would share...

I got to use some of the tomatoes I dried in there too. The Lord provides. And also more important spiritual food through His Word. Let us feed on and cling to that!

Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.

John 6:27

I love you ALL. All you sisters or women who are reading. All I have ever communicated with. All I have ever fellowshipped with. Look to the Lord everyone and strive on no matter what! Let us all keep learning and growing humbly. And keep repenting where we all need to at times.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
Galatians 5:22-23

Christ is coming back soon! Be ready like the five wise virgins I read about above and not caught unprepared in willful sin and false ways.

And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.
Matthew 25:6

Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:

Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.

And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.

Mark 13:35-37

Have a joyous day in Him!
