Today's Edification (30 September 2024)

Greetings sisters!

Another day is here that God made! I hope you're doing well:) It's time for me to share a bit more edifying with you! It's a blessing to be able to and it's good to rejoice in all our blessings! God's mercies are over us again and all His creations!

The LORD is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.

The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.

All thy works shall praise thee, O LORD; and thy saints shall bless thee.

Psalm 145:8-10

Let us rejoice in His great goodness!

I will mention the lovingkindnesses of the LORD, and the praises of the LORD, according to all that the LORD hath bestowed on us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which he hath bestowed on them according to his mercies, and according to the multitude of his lovingkindnesses.
Isaiah 63:7

You really see the patience and long suffering of the Lord as the earth remains day by day.

And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,
Exodus 34:6

He is slow to anger...

And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil.
Joel 2:13

And we are to be also...

A wrathful man stirreth up strife: but he that is slow to anger appeaseth strife.
Proverbs 15:18

Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:

For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.

James 1:19-20

Reminds me also how 1 Corinthians 13 says love is not easily provoked. Just all sorts of things to ponder from His Word! And learn of our God and follow His good ways!

So I am back at the children's for now (thankful for safe travels), and I never know how long I will be here! But I already had and will have a lot of dishes to wash and laundry and baby minding and other cleaning and housework and cooking and other bits and pieces I'm sure! My sisters are also keeping busy in whatever the Lord has, aren't you sisters!

Just was sharing a bit from my travels. It's very dry already...but still His creations which are good.

Was beautiful flowers at the bus break stop...

Sharing them with my sisters! God made them!

I was listening to scripture earlier and pondering how Paul tells us God was giving us a greater lesson and meaning through an old law.

For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen?

Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope.

1 Corinthians 9:9-10

Just thought it was interesting to ponder. And surely it would be the case in more than just that. There's just so much depth and meaning in His Word isn't there!

For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.
Isaiah 65:17

Saw that scripture and pondering how this old world will not be remembered nor come into mind! Well, I'd be glad for that wouldn't you, at least for all the bad parts. Lots to look forward to and not back to isn't there! So may we endure to the end faithfully and stedfastly.

Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
2 Peter 3:13-14
And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
Revelation 21:1

Cheering my sisters on to do just that. Let us continue to be godly holy women with meek and quiet spirits and going about our good works patiently and doing them as unto the Lord! Strive on sisters!

Love in Christ,

Sister Chayil

Today's Edification (29 September 2024)

Greetings sister saints around the world!

Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
Philippians 1:2

I am back again here and you are too! When things are going along normal it's not to be taken forgranted either as we know life can change and have trials in it. But whatever the Lord has for us is good too as He is always there so we don't need to worry about things! But that can be easier said than done but it comes down to truly believing in Him, trusting and obeying as He told us to cast our cares upon Him. But it's good to remember to be thankful for the things in our lives that always seem to be there!

I was thinking how having the written Word of God in itself is definitely not something to take lightly at all. It's a very precious gift and it is possible it could be taken away from us sometime. But we have His Word in our hearts but still our memory can fail us and we know we feed on His Word every day and it guides and refreshes and corrects us. But we do know it is a faith that works by love so that sums up a lot for how we are to live! We love God first and others second. But let's be thankful for it sisters and not take it lightly.

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
2 Timothy 3:16-17

It is profitable for many things and helps us be perfected and throughly furnished unto all good works!

With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments. Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.
Psalm 119:10-11

I know it is spirit and truth worship we practice but God's written Word is so important and it is a sharp sword as well and part of our armour.

And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
Ephesians 6:17

And as Jesus used it to combat satan's scripture twisting as well...so can we.

Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.
Matthew 4:7

So may we feed on His Word sisters! And use it as our defense in this world of that which isn't truth! His Word is pure truth!

I was also thinking how many many people say they live by the Word. But it has to be it all that applies today doesn't it and also people may say they do but in practice they don't. We know all people can fail in living it out well but it's also key how they react to failure isn't it whether they take it flippantly or are sorrowful and humbled and repentant to do better. We have to take these matters seriously don't we sisters as they are the most important matters in life. Let us keep pressing on in the truth after Christ who is the Word made flesh!

I was thinking of this scripture and how something as forsaking a saint, Paul wanted it not to be laid to their charge...

At my first answer no man stood with me, but all men forsook me: I pray God that it may not be laid to their charge. Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.
2 Timothy 4:16-17

But God was with Him! He also talked about someone not being ashamed of his chain.

The Lord give mercy unto the house of Onesiphorus; for he oft refreshed me, and was not ashamed of my chain:

But, when he was in Rome, he sought me out very diligently, and found me.

The Lord grant unto him that he may find mercy of the Lord in that day: and in how many things he ministered unto me at Ephesus, thou knowest very well.

2 Timothy 1:16-18

Just interesting to ponder on I guess! Always different angles and aspects to dig into in His Word and what people did and said.

Time for a picture dump from my past busy days! Perhaps you like to just see a glimpse into some things here or what I see in my corner of the earth. All the gory to God for all things He has made and that He allows us to do!

This was a small mountain right near a town I was in so I had a quick look before moving on.
All the different things in His creation are amazing! There's still peaceful and good things in this crazy world which has a lot of violence and other evils in it. Let us look to our Saviour and wait and long for His coming to set things right one day! He reigns!

I would share apricot and applesauce muffins too...

Thankful for a jar of applesauce I canned last season and here's next season's apples in the making...

Amazing how He set it up and we also have to patiently wait for the precious fruit of the earth.
Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.

Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.

James 5:7-8

Mulch is pretty much essential for conserving water especially if you cant be watering for long periods of time (like when I'm away at the children's)...
It's amazing how much of a difference it makes! The sun on bare soil just causes so much heat and evaporation so I'm thankful for mulch even if it's just grass clippings.

Reptiles of various sorts are coming out here including snakes.

Much more vigilance needed in doing things around the place.

Good food blessings from the land...

I was blessed with three cleaning jobs on three consecutive days.
Lots of little windows to clean on this one. I just use a homemade spray mix of dishwashing liquid, vinegar, water, and yep some cornflour (you can find recipes online) along with my trusty super fine steel wool and paper towels (usually actually the cheaper the better of those as they're more like paper and leave less lint!). You probably well know how challenging windows can be to get them clean and streak free! Just maybe sharing some tips to help you:)

This was another one of an ocean front two-story house...
And no it's not a time to just look at and appreciate the view as sometimes when you're starting a big job it can seem almost overwhelming but you tell yourself 'one thing at a time' and you always get there and rejoice when it's done and can hardly believe it, lol! But the woman paid me some extra as she appreciated the work so that was nice of her. While we get the reward of pay after doing our work, we too will receive our reward from the Lord when our life is over! Just as it's important to do well in physical jobs, so too it is more important to make sure we 'strive lawfully' to obtain our incorruptible crown amen sisters?!
No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.

And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully.
2 Timothy 2:4-5

Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.

And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.
1 Corinthians 9:24-25

But having to press on in our work, reminds me of how that is the same in our faith life how our life can seem long but one day or even minute at a time sometimes and if we are faithful in little it will amount to a life of faithfulness! Let us not grow weary in any well doing! Strive on sisters! There is never a time to lay aside our armour and think we don't have to be on guard and wary and pondering and correcting our actions and such like.

Lots of fabric washing went on here...

Many blessings in a simple picture! Water and sunshine and fresh air blessings and more! And actually, my cleaning jobs allow me to buy so much fabric in advance, so that's a blessing too as fabric isn't really cheap even if you buy it on sale most times but not too bad I guess at least what I use.

I was thankful to find the dark brown fabric for headcoverings in a store several weeks ago so I bought a large amount while I could and got to sew them and add them to my store too.

I even sewed a skirt for myself which is rare but some of mine were getting worn so I did. It's also a good time to test different fabrics so this seemed to work well with a thicker denim so it is a good work or winter skirt.

Hope to add them to my store in time...Lord willing!

I did get a skirt sewn for my shop too...

So I'm thankful for whatever I can get done.

And I now have a large stash of fabric washed and waiting to be sewn into skirts, shirts, and headcoverings whenever I have the time!

My store has been getting kind of cleared out of some things so hopefully I can add some more as soon as I can even if that's not very soon! We just do what we can and are so limited unlike our God who can do everything and anything at once!

When the electricity goes out in the main house when you've started cooking a meal then that can be a problem! Thankful for a gas stove in my little caravan refuge to finish it off!
Nice to have more than one way to do basic necessities. Life these days is usually so set up around electricity

And if this doesn't sound cozy with the rain on the roof too I don't know what does!

And here's a dawn chorus of beautiful birds one morning...

Peaceful. And God's mercies are new every morning too! And His creations are good and beautiful in this troubled world. Glory to Him!

Just a peaceful view...

And no that's not that cow's calf like it may look like. Just makes me think how things can look like something when they aren't and how in relation to humans we don't want to falsely judge as the story can be much different than it appears! It's easy to assume things but we can be so wrong sometimes but the Lord knows all things!

Calf coming for his milk...

Just reminds me too how we are to grow on the milk of the Word and greatly desire it!

As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.
1 Peter 2:2-3

Well I guess that's all for today sisters! Just catching up I guess on all good, pure, and true things!

I leave you with a sunset...

I have travel back to the children's by bus tomorrow so Lord willing I shall be back here after that. I normally get to work on my post to redeem the time on the 3 hour trip too if it's not too distracting. Depends if you have someone making noise around you. But good practice at focusing if so I guess. I'm sure I'll have something to share from His Word as there's always something!

Keep striving on my sisters! Let us keep valuing that which is most important and eternal and the Lord will provide all we need.

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Matthew 6:33-34

Much love to you in His name,

Sister Chayil

Today's Edification (28 September 2024)

Hello again sisters!

I trust you're holding fast in the faith wherever you are! Yep we know few find the narrow road so there will be scarcely any people we may know who are truly loving the Lord with all they are, to obey Him fully. In fact it would be very easy to know of no one doing so and it's a great blessing if the Lord allows us to know of any of His people. I am blessed to know just a very few and I surely treasure them and love them much in the Lord. As Paul said, he was refreshed by faithful saints and they were a joy to him and indeed it is an extra encouragment as we travel this road after Christ in a world of darkness and unbelief and all manner of evil.

It is a fact that all people either are God's sheep or they're not and so there's no in between. Spiritual family is eternal and while of course only God truly knows who His people are and who will endure to the end, God's children, brothers and sisters, love one another in Christ who first loved us!

That I may come unto you with joy by the will of God, and may with you be refreshed.
Romans 15:32
Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved.
Philippians 4:1
For they have refreshed my spirit and yours: therefore acknowledge ye them that are such.
1 Corinthians 16:18

Let us keep pressing of after the Lord, encouraging those we know if we do, and if not, striving hard to please the Lord and follow Him alone (Well if you're reading this I am striving on after the Lord as His servant and daughter!). With the Lord on our side no one can be against us truly but we do need to be aware of dangers too like lukewarmness, ravening wolves, false teachers and false brethren, compromise, deception, satan like a roaring lion or as an angel of light, and the lusts and cares of this world etc. But we have a mighty God who is our help and our strength but we must follow hard after Him through it all. I encourage you to keep doing that with all that you are sisters!

If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand? But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.
Psalm 130:3-4

It is good to deeply ponder and be thankful for the Lord's forgiveness. This is so amazing and so essential for us to receive our reward and be able to spend eternity with Him. Truly God is good. We all need a lot of forgiveness from Him especially from our past but also any sins we may find ourselves in unawares or fall into.

Look upon mine affliction and my pain; and forgive all my sins.
Psalm 25:18

For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.
Psalm 86:5

I made an audio and read a few scriptures too!

I'm still keeping well occupied here but thankful to drop in here on my sisters out there and hopefully edify you in the Lord and His truth! Keep pressing on along the narrow way sisters!

Love in Christ,

Sister Chayil

Today's Edification (27 September 2024)

Greetings sisters!

Here I am again as the Lord made it possible, for only in Him do we live and move and have our being! We know He upholds all things and nothing exists without Him! I hope you're all striving on wherever you are on this earth. I am keeping busy here so perhaps some briefer posts for awhile but times and seasons and we do what we can don't we sisters! Keep going in all your good works whatever they are!

It is a big responsibility to be His witnesses and bear His name isn't it. We don't want to bring reproach upon it do we. I know we're humans and have weakness and infirmities of course and may fail but let that keep us humble and reliant on Him all the more and also be an encouragement that He still uses us! In Him is hope; outside of Him is condemnation and destruction. Let us abide in Him, continuing in the faith!

Good to ponder walking in newness of life...

Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:

Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

Romans 6:4-6

There is much about new in the New Testament isn't there! Maybe I can read some scriptures on an audio with some to encourage us sometime!

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
2 Corinthians 5:17

I was listening to scripture and this stood out about John being filled with the Holy Spirit as a baby. That's interesting! Nothing is impossible with God of course! He is in control.

For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother's womb.
Luke 1:15

There's always something to ponder on deeper in the Word isn't there!

I saw something that brought this scripture to mind how it can and does happen that people fall further away from whatever truth they did have and get assimilated into the world.

Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
Proverbs 4:23

Reminds me of this scripture too...

Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.
2 Peter 3:17

We surely do have to keep diligent at maintaining our faith. And while it may certainly be the last thing we want to happen, to fall away, we can never think we are anything lest we fall. We have not attained yet so let us keep striving and pressing towards the mark! May no gain in this world cause us to lose our soul.

For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?
Luke 9:25

Keep being vigilant and on guard sisters.

Well I had better go now. Lord willing I will be back here tomorrow. Keep holding fast to the truth and pure ways of God in a dark world!

That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;
Philippians 2:15

Love to you all in His name,

Sister Chayil

Today's Edification (26 September 2024)

Greetings again sister saints!

God granted us one more day to serve Him! He is good and we want to be faithful servants of His don't we!

His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
Matthew 25:21

Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?

Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.

Matthew 24:45-47

Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart;
Ephesians 6:6

Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: For our God is a consuming fire.
Hebrews 12:28-29

How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
Hebrews 9:14

As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God.
1 Peter 2:16

Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.
Colossians 3:24

But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
Romans 6:22

For they themselves shew of us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and how ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God;
1 Thessalonians 1:9

For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men.
Romans 14:17-18

It's good to ponder that we are the Lord's servants and gladly so! Let us keep serving Him and others and putting on the mind of Christ. He is God and yet He came to serve us for one thing. That's quite amazing. Glory to God and what a perfect example He gave us! We surely had done nothing to deserve this...and still haven't and never will but God is merciful and kind. Let us learn of God and follow (and imitate) Him in all the ways we have been told to. Vengeance for one is not something we imitate as that's His alone but we know what He told us to obey! Keep pressing on sisters in all the ways for godly women!

I was listening to scripture while doing some work and this one stood out for one...

Debate thy cause with thy neighbour himself; and discover not a secret to another: Lest he that heareth it put thee to shame, and thine infamy turn not away.
Proverbs 25:9-10

Reminded me of this one too...

Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.
Matthew 18:15

There's quite a bit in His Word about how we do such things and also what we say about others. We don't want to be tale bearers, gossips, busy bodies, or bearers of false witness or any such things either! But it also helps remind us not to take someone's word about someone else either. Prove all things! But praise God He is true and speaks the truth always! We can count on that and trust in Him.

I'm having some extra busy days but glad to drop in here and share edifying with you still! You're all out there too, fighting the good fight of faith and I want to cheer you on! Keep going sisters!

But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
1 Timothy 6:11-12

Today's Edification (25 September 2024)

Salutations to my sisters around the earth!

Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied.
Jude 1:2

How are you today? I hope that you're well my sisters:) It is interesting pondering the body of Christ. We know the Lord told us it is like the human body with all the various parts working together.

That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.

And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.

Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.

1 Corinthians 12:25-27

We are members of this great well functioning body! Each member is different and some similar but God adds to His body and places each one where He sees fit! Good to ponder on. God gave us many correlations of spiritual to physical things so we can understand and that's great He did help us in that way isn't it!

But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.
Ephesians 4:15-16

There's so much to be thankful for each day. And it's good to remind ourselves at the start of each day and go forth in our days with a thankful heart! We are to be content with food and clothing but we have so much extra don't we!

In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
1 Thessalonians 5:18

Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.
2 Corinthians 9:15

Amen!

Keep seeking after true wisdom, sisters...

Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.

For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold.

She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her.

Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honour.

Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace.

She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her.

Proverbs 3:13-18

It surely is not the wisdom of the world which is foolishness to God. We know the fear of God is where true wisdom begins!

And I have to share one of my favourite scriptures again because it talks about what some wisdom looks like!

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.
James 3:17-18

Let us continue in these ways sisters, and grow in them more and more!

Busy and fruitful day here fitting in all I can before I need to leave again. Got sewing, gardening and other general Titus 2 things done, bits and pieces. I'm sure all my sisters are occupying in whatever good works the Lord has for you! Keep walking in the truth through it all. Doing our every day physical duties is part of walking in the truth isn't it, and how we do them too, as we are not to be lazy but to be useful and diligent and hard working in all good things! Strive on sisters and hold fast to the Lord!

Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.
2 Corinthians 13:11

Much love in Christ,

Hello my sisters who love and obey the Lord!

He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
John 14:21

I hope you're striving on in the faith wherever you are around the world! I'm pressing on here myself and appreciate being able to come back here and share edifying...that which builds you up!

And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.
Acts 20:32

There is so much hope in God isn't there for those who truly love Him and want to obey Him in all things. Let us keep seeking that which pleases Him and walking in it!

And as touching the dead, that they rise: have ye not read in the book of Moses, how in the bush God spake unto him, saying, I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living: ye therefore do greatly err.
Mark 12:26-27

Interesting to sometimes ponder how all the saints gone by still exist of course and are alive with Christ! Well we know they do but it's just unique to think about or something. Our God is the God of the living! Reminds me of this great scripture too...

But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,

To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,

And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

Hebrews 12:22-24

That is a lot of great things there!

Been pondering how I surely don't want to be deceived. Plus of course I certainly do not want to deceive anyone by accident. Let us cleave to the Word and search the scriptures for the truth with willing humble hearts and the Lord will help us. I really prefer to just share a lot of scriptures here on my blog. It's a very serious thing to be a teacher of the Word of any kind. Yes of course women can teach other women, the older ones teaching the younger in particular but I'm just mostly sharing scriptures and thoughts which of course you are to test as well.

Let these scriptures encourage us to more vigilance and remind us it is possible to be deceived and deception is all over the lands.

Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
1 John 3:7

Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.
1 Corinthians 15:33

Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
Galatians 6:7

Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
2 Thessalonians 2:3

Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
Ephesians 5:6

For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.
Galatians 6:3

And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.
Luke 21:8

And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
Matthew 24:4

But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;

2 Timothy 3:13-14

Let us trust the Lord and prove all that man says and strive as saints to be faithful to the truth the best we can with His help! May we not be deceived.

The Lord gave me safe travels back again, so I will be busy in sewing, cleaning, gardening, and general Titus 2 helping works too, all Lord willing of course! Keep striving on in the calling the Lord has for you sisters! Hold fast in the faith and lay hold on eternal life. I got to listen to scripture on my three hour drive in the night and that was good to keep me company with the truth and refreshing from it! Keep dwelling in His Word sisters!

Unfeigned love in Christ,

Sister Chayil
