Today's Edification (19 September 2024)

Greetings again sisters!

I hope all of you are striving on wherever you are on this earth! I'm going along on my Titus 2 works here. One day all God's true people will be gathered together from all over the earth to be with our Lord! What a great day that will be!

But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-18

I'm sharing some more flower creations with scripture to glorify Him!

Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.
Psalm 29:2

Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.
Revelation 5:12

Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.
Revelation 7:12

To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.
Jude 1:25

Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.
1 Timothy 1:17

Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth's sake.
Psalm 115:1

Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.
Philippians 1:11

Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
Luke 2:14

To God only wise, be glory through Jesus Christ for ever. Amen.
Romans 16:27

Glory to God indeed! May we also bring Him glory by bearing much good fruit.

Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
John 15:8

Keep pressing on in the faith my sisters. We must overcome all things to enter the kingdom! We know it takes effort but He helps us and has given us all things we need! He has given us a spiritual armour to put on. Let us do so!

Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
1 Timothy 6:12

Love in Christ,

Today's Edification (18 September 2024)

Hello sisters!

I'm back again. The days keep coming and going by steadily. Time goes on in one direction and there's no getting back a single second. So it's important we strive to do our best isn't it and redeem the time for good for the Lord. Nothing we can do about time we wasted in our past but we can make sure we don't waste any now that we know better!

Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
Romans 3:25

For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief:
Romans 11:30

Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,

Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

Ephesians 2:2-6

Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.
1 Peter 2:10

Praise the Lord for His mercy and goodness and that He has allowed us to know this precious truth! I'm thankful for the great hope in Him! We don't deserve it but He is plenteous in mercy and redemption!

Let Israel hope in the LORD: for with the LORD there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption.
Psalm 130:7
For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.
Psalm 86:5

I've had a busy long day and thankful for safe travels to the children's. So that will be my works for however long it is this time!

I got to listen to scripture on my travels and the book of Deuteronomy has a lot of good meat in it and a lot of edifying.

And now, Israel, what doth the LORD thy God require of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul, To keep the commandments of the LORD, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good?
Deuteronomy 10:12-13

That scripture sums up what we do doesn't it, fear Him, love Him, keep His ways and walk in them! Still the same in the New Testament isn't it while we believe in our Saviour who has now been revealed!

That was something that was also standing out to me that God gave commandments for their good and that it may go well with them. That also shows He cares about them/us doesn't it.

And thou shalt do that which is right and good in the sight of the LORD: that it may be well with thee, and that thou mayest go in and possess the good land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers,
Deuteronomy 6:18
Observe and hear all these words which I command thee, that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee for ever, when thou doest that which is good and right in the sight of the LORD thy God.
Deuteronomy 12:28

Most people resent God's commands and think they are controlling. But they are for our own good. (and we sure don't want to be under His just wrath). His commandments are not grievous.

For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
1 John 5:3

Well I better go sisters and get some rest after my day and for another one coming if the Lord wills. I hope your day is a good one, and keep pressing on sisters!

Fervent love in Christ,

Sister Chayil

Today's Edification (17 September 2024)

Hello sisters!

Another day God gave! Let us keep pressing on and overcoming one day at a time and then we will receive the reward!

Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.
Hebrews 10:35-36
Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.
Colossians 3:24

This scripture stood out while I was listening today...

Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.
1 Peter 1:2

Pondering how of course God knows the future. That is amazing to think about really and very hard to fathom for us...but nothing is impossible with Him! He sure knew which people will follow Him to the very end! May we be those, sisters, and press on fervently.

For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
Romans 8:29-30

God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel, saying,
Romans 11:2

Let us trust in such a great God!

This is an interesting scripture to ponder...

Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
Hebrews 13:2

And it does remind me also of these ones...

And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.

Matthew 25:40,45

It does matter how we relate to people around us definitely including those we do not know and have never met before...just the people of the world and all people!

Jesus also said this...

For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?

And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?

Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

Matthew 5:46-48

It is a high calling we have and we strive to obey the Lord and not what the flesh wants or what the culture teaches us.

I had more of a restful day but still getting things done! No travel today either. Let us just keep pressing on one day at a time sister saints! We know to occupy in that which is good and abhor and flee from that which is evil! In God is our peace and may His peace rule in our hearts, the peace that passes understanding. This world has a way of trying to take our peace...the cares of it and the distractions and the wickedness abounding and such but let us lay aside every weight and press on looking to Jesus! He has overcome the world and in Him we too will get the victory and can be more than conquerors!

What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.

Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 8:31-32,35-39

Let us sisters continue after our precious Saviour!

Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.

Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.

For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.

Hebrews 13:12-14

Much love in Christ,

Sister Chayil

Today's Edification (16 September 2024)

Greetings sisters!

The Lord our God reigns on this day...and forever! We know for a season man gets to make his choices and satan is on the loose but one day His people will be with Him and satan will be cast away forever. But our God reigns today! He is in control and one day will return to this earth in judgement and to gather His saints home! What a great day that will be! Let us keep being sober and preparing for that time.

But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.
1 Peter 4:7

Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:

But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;

1 Peter 1:13-15

Good scriptures! And yeah...our former lusts in our ignorance. Truly we were very ignorant in the past...but now praise God we know the truth and that sin and false ways are definitely not pleasing to God and still have a cost if we live in them wilfully. The truth always makes us free! We have been freed from sin and become servants to God!

But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.

Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.

I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.

For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.

What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.

But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Romans 6:17-23

We are so blessed to know this truth so let us not take it lightly. Having eyes to see and ears to hear is no light matter. Let us walk humbly with our God and with a thankful heart.

He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?
Micah 6:8

I read some scriptures on the Lord our rock here so hopefully those are strengthening to you too!

And sharing some things from my past few days here. I think I have travel again tomorrow...but let's see! You learn that things can sometimes change so fast and you have to be flexible! Indeed if the Lord wills.

Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.
Proverbs 27:1
For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that.
James 4:15

I would share chocolate zucchini bread...

Thought I better use some of the zucchini from the freezer from last season before the next season ones come! But they haven't been planted yet.

Second round of carrot thinning...

Good for snacks! (and I think I'll take them to the children's as they love carrots! And little carrots are good for little people!)

I was thankful to get my skirt sewing done finally!

(thankful for a patient customer too:)

Still going on my huge roll (or 'hay bale':) of bubble wrap...

Usually things are cheaper to buy in bulk which can be good if you're going to use things. I'm thankful to be able to have a little sewing shop. Biblical clothing will never be popular but I'm thankful 150 items have been shipped out over the fours years I've had it going! Glory to God and it's a blessing to be able to have and do. And the glorious gospel of Christ goes out to new customers too...so that seems to make it even more worthwhile of course!

Got a few headcoverings sewn also...

Maybe finish them next time I am back and I have more fabric on order for them so I keep my stock levels up. Just do what I can and you too sisters wherever you are!

Many blessings in this picture...

A cozy place to sleep and work and a morning cup of tea as God's mercies are new every morning! A nice cup from a dear sister, and sunshine, and a good time to ponder on the Lord and so very many things that make life keep going that it's easy to overlook as they're always there. God's whole creation is very complex and interconnected! So we have innumerable blessings really especially as saints in the Lord.

Thankful to finally be getting egg blessings here!

That little peach tree in the garden is just so amazing!

I planted out the rest of the onions...

And did a lot of watering (and weeding) in the garden as it's so dry now. Water is just so essential to life.

Maybe you can't see them very well but there's a whole lot of birds circling around in an air current...
Looks kind of like a 'bird tornado' or something. Anyway they seem to enjoy it! Flight itself is an amazing ability God put into some of His creatures!

And some more pretty flowers for you, my sisters in Christ!

Glory to God for all good, pure, and true things!

There's still many good things on this earth all of which are from above. Man's heart is wicked and nasty though and this earth is so corrupt and it's a faithless and perverse generation and perilous are the times but our God reigns! Our redemption draws nearer sisters! Let that encourage us to keep pressing on as the world gets darker and more evil. There is hope ahead and our reward God is preparing for those who love Him! Strive on my sisters and may our Lord come soon!
He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
Revelation 22:20-21

In His love,

Sister Chayil

Today's Edification (15 September 2024)

Hello again sisters!

The glory be to God for all good things! I hope most of all that you are strong in the faith sisters.

I've had another really busy day. But it's good to have things to keep occupied in too although we can only do what we can and don't want to get overwhelmed if it seems like too much at once! And it's also good to have some quieter moments to study His Word or listen to it or just ponder life and the things of the Lord and examine all we're doing.

I was listening to Proverbs in a break I had and so share a few verses.

Better is a dry morsel, and quietness therewith, than an house full of sacrifices with strife.
Proverbs 17:1

With the Lord and His ways less is better! We may need to even be alone in our faith life but that is better to have the Lord and His peace than to be with many people who may lead us astray.

Better is little...

Better is little with the fear of the LORD than great treasure and trouble therewith. Better is a dinner of herbs where love is, than a stalled ox and hatred therewith.
Proverbs 15:16-17
Better is a little with righteousness than great revenues without right.
Proverbs 16:8

And we sure know the narrow road has few on compared to the broad road. And also goes along with what Jesus said about many being called and few chosen and also how God uses the weak and despised and the lowly and meek and the poor and such like. Man thinks bigger is better and the more people with you means it's right but we know it isn't the case. God's ways are not man's either. Just pondering on it all.

He that covereth a transgression seeketh love; but he that repeateth a matter separateth very friends.
Proverbs 17:9

Yeah godly love doesn't go repeating someone's sins or failings especially if they repented of them in sorrow.

And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.
1 Peter 4:8

Only someone who is up to no good would love to tell others failings. There is a lot in Proverbs about fools and mischief too. We don't want to be like that!

He that diligently seeketh good procureth favour: but he that seeketh mischief, it shall come unto him.
Proverbs 11:27

It is as sport to a fool to do mischief: but a man of understanding hath wisdom.
Proverbs 10:23

Frowardness is in his heart, he deviseth mischief continually; he soweth discord.
Proverbs 6:14

God's word warns us of the ways that are not good. There are often comparisons with them compared side by side...the good and the evil. Let us walk in His good ways!

Going to share some beautiful flowers I saw today. Praise God for them all! And sharing some scriptures too!

Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.
Psalm 29:2

Honour and majesty are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.
Psalm 96:6

To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.
Isaiah 61:3

One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.
Psalm 27:4

And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.
Psalm 90:17

In that day shall the branch of the LORD be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel.
Isaiah 4:2

So amazing! Glory to God!

Well that's all for now sisters! We each keep doing what we can in each day and I guess it keeps us humble knowing only God is able to do everything at once! He is all powerful and nothing is impossible with Him! Let us serve this great God with humble thankful hearts!

Lord willing I will be back here tomorrow. Keep striving on in the truth my sisters! Hold fast and keep watch!

And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.
Mark 13:37

Love in Christ,

Today's Edification (14 September 2024)

Hello sisters!

I am dropping in again to share a little edifying content for your day whenever you may get the chance to drop in here too! God gave us this day...so let us use it to do good and bear much fruit for His glory!

I've had a really busy day sewing mostly and getting organized and reoriented here again and Titus 2 works and things. I hope you're all just pressing on in the works in your life, minding your own business and striving to live a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. God's ways are good...always!

I was reading in Revelation and about how Jesus said to a body of believers to hold fast to what they had. We don't want to lose anything that we have but be growing and moving forward don't we sisters. We must keep standing and not letting the world overwhelm us or the cares of this life.

And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word, And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.
Mark 4:18-19

No we don't want that! We still have to be careful balancing out everything we do to keep it all in the right perspective and do it all unto the Lord too. We sure don't want to gain the world and lose our souls. There is a time for refreshing and just having a break no matter how small or even longer ones, from our labours, especially if we feel ourselves growing weary or losing our focus. There is always a time to test ourselves and make sure we are pleasing the Lord number one.

I was looking up a scripture with the word 'led' in it to share with a sister and I couldn't help noticing all the references to Jesus being led by man in His trial. He is God and yet He truly humbled Himself and became obedient to the death of the stake...pleasing His Father for us. No doubt He could have easily escaped unlike us who are so powerless but He truly submitted and went through with what He had come to accomplish.

And the soldiers led him away into the hall, called Praetorium; and they call together the whole band.

And when they had mocked him, they took off the purple from him, and put his own clothes on him, and led him out to crucify him.

Mark 15:16,20

The place of the scripture which he read was this, He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before his shearer, so opened he not his mouth:
Acts 8:32

Truly He was meek and lowly.

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Philippians 2:5-11

And yet we know He is coming in judgement the next time. Let us be ready, sisters. Watch!

Keep holding fast in the faith! Lord willing I will be back here tomorrow.

Much love in Christ and a hug to my holy sisters!

Today's Edification (13 September 2024)

Greetings sister saints!

I hope you are well today and holding fast in the faith! There is a great reward ahead for those who endure to the end in Christ!

Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.

And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

Revelation 11:17-18

Pondering how we should rejoice in trials. Not something we do naturally but if we think about it, it's a good test of our faith and also a good opportunity to practice how we react in them. So there's always good and we know all things work for good...for those who love Him which means those who obey Him.

Sharing some scriptures that put trials in a positive light. Hope they are encouraging!

And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;

And patience, experience; and experience, hope:

And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

Romans 5:3-5

My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;

Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.

But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

James 1:2-4

Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

Matthew 5:11-12

Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:

That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:

1 Peter 1:6-7

These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
John 16:33

Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:

But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.

But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters.

Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.

1 Peter 4:12-16

Notice these say to rejoice in the Lord

Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.
Philippians 4:4
Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe.
Philippians 3:1

He is all our hope and joy and when we have Him we have everything! May we just keep pressing on in Him and stay close to Him and He will to us!

I had travel on the bus today, so I'll have different works for awhile here. Thankful for safe travels. Honestly it seems like a year since I've been back but it's been three and a half weeks. Funny, how our sense of time can be so off. But we each just have one day at a time to do our best in don't we.

I was waiting for the bus at a tiny country stop and saw it coming really slowly. This was why...

A blown out tire. Doesn't happen very often I'm sure but glad I made it on and just a bit late in the end. There 'happened' to be a mechanic or something even out in the 'middle of nowhere' almost who brought his tools and fixed it.

There were a few upset passengers who 'had to get to their sports game on time' and they were giving the poor bus driver a hard time. Bad words were flying in general. But there's things in life that happen and can't be helped. It's just another reminder about this and it doesn't help to get upset about them at all!

Now there is one thing in life that we don't want to miss...and that is the kingdom of heaven. But God told us many will miss it. Few find it.

And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.

Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.

But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.

Matthew 25:10-12

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Matthew 7:21-23

Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.
Hebrews 4:1

Let us press towards the mark and strive to obtain. We do not want to miss this.

Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.

And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.

I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air:

But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

1 Corinthians 9:24-27

There are conditions for those who strive for worldly things like races and games etc as Paul used the illustrations. Why do people think there aren't many conditions for such a great reward as heaven? So let us keep pressing on sisters and bringing ourselves into subjection to His ways.

Have a good day in the Lord my sisters! Serve the One who is so worthy!

Love to you,

Sister Chayil
