Today's Encouragement (31 August 2022)

Greetings in the Lord sisters!

Here's another day to share some edification for you!

And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled
In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:
If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;
Colossians 1:21-23

Praise God for what He has done for us and now we want to continue in the faith!

I've had another very busy day...looking after little ones and all the housework that goes with that! And I had to do some shopping for them so I got to give out several gospel cards. We have such precious truth but we know it is despised by many and thought of as worthless but we remember we do what we do of sharing truth first of all for God's glory and for our love of the people's souls. We hope they repent and will be spared the just wrath of God. We remember we could be lost like one of them and are filled with great thankfulness for the truth of Christ that we know and follow!

Amen! He alone is worthy!

Hope your day is a fruitful one of resting in the Lord and holding fast and having much patient endurance sisters!

Today's Encouragement (30 August 2022)

Greetings sister saints!

God gave us one more day...to do good works in, in Him! Hope my sisters are doing well!

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth.
I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.
Beloved, thou doest faithfully whatsoever thou doest to the brethren, and to strangers;
3 John 1:2-5

Here is Isaiah 40 that I read the other day to share here (when I knew I would be extra busy)...

Today's Encouragement (29 August 2022)

Hello sister saints!

I'm back again to share a little encouragement for your day and share a few pictures from my day of His awesome creations. And His Word is strengthening and so good!

My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.
He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved.
In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.
Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.
Psalm 62:5-8

Today's Encouragement (28 August 2022)

Greetings sister saints!

Hope you are having a good day being a godly woman of the Lord!

I'm dropping back in here again sharing some scriptures and pictures from my day. May it all encourage and edify you in the Lord!

We love His Word don't we sisters!

Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.
Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.
James 4:8-10

Therefore say thou unto them, Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Turn ye unto me, saith the Lord of hosts, and I will turn unto you, saith the Lord of hosts.
Zechariah 1:3

Springtime...

And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
Colossians 3:15

I will hear what God the Lord will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly.

Praise God for His peace and for His Word and awesome creations He made!

Then here's more of God's providence I got to prepare...

How very many blessings we all do have for which we are very thankful! I know my sisters are thankful!

And thank you faithful sister for these...

Amen yes let us remember the whole truth about God and not a one-sided view on only some of His characteristics we as humans may like better.

Today's Encouragement (27 August 2022)

Greetings sister saints!

A new day is here that the Lord gave me and you, my sisters in Christ! Hope yours has been going well so far and you're strong in the faith.

Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
Ephesians 6:16

I read a psalm for us sisters today...

Hope that blesses and edifies you. (That picture on the video is the view where I was reading it. It was a beautiful day!)

I was glad to get a good lot of work done in the garden too...satisfying.

Praise God for giving us the strength to do whatever we get to do each day! Let us be thankful! And it's a joy to labour in good things like a garden which is providing essential food as we know we are to be content with food and raiment.

For as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.
Isaiah 61:11

I love that!

And speaking of raiment, I'm glad to have a growing stash of biblical clothing on my online sewing shop...

Hope it will be a blessing to women who want to dress biblical.

Next project coming up, I want to sew shirts for women and have them available for anyone looking. Lord willing I will get to that soon! (You can find my sewing shop here if you haven't.)

I'm glad we sisters can simply live for the Lord every minute of our day and we don't have to be in that trap of having to have all these different clothes for different occasions etc...most of which is pride and people pleasing anyway. We can just dress the same every day and everywhere...meaning what we wear at home we wear out in the world too. Well maybe we wouldn't wear dirty farm or garden clothes out etc but still the same ones we wear everyday. God is everywhere and it's Him we strive to obey and live for and please. We've been set free haven't we sisters! Free from the bondage of sin in our clothing choices and free to focus on more important things than spending all this time trying to look a certain way. Glory to God!

Unto Adam also and to his wife did the Lord God make coats of skins, and clothed them.
Genesis 3:21

And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.
Revelation 6:11

God tells us the origin of clothing and what He desires of us all through His Word and the examples of other godly saints doesn't He. And we get white robes if we endure!

Praise God for His mercy and salvation! And His creation is another cause to give Him praise! He is worthy!

Today's Encouragement (26 August 2022)

Greetings in the Lord sisters!

Hope things are going well for you in the Lord!

Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
Hebrews 13:5-6

That's a great scripture that tells us the truth and why we ought to be content! We do want to be content and thankful for whatever the Lord's will is in our lives don't we sisters...even if we have to kill our flesh about it.

Mary was a great example in that...

And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.
Luke 1:38

And Jesus of course as our perfect Example...

And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.
Matthew 26:39

For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that.
James 4:15

And may we say and mean the same!

Praise God for all good things and all He allows us the strength to do!

Sure you're all keeping busy in many good godly works the Lord has for you. Christ is our life and every second of our lives is to be in service to Him isn't it. And we know all the Lord has done for us so how can we not be joyous to serve Him! If anything seems hard we only need to remember all the Lord has done for us and His mercy and that sets our minds straight amen sisters?!

I must go now. Hold fast sister saints and keep striving on in the Lord!

Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the Lord.
Seek the Lord, and his strength: seek his face evermore.
Remember his marvellous works that he hath done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;

Today's Encouragement (25 August 2022)

Greetings sisters!

God gave us a new day to live for Him first.

Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee. My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.
Psalm 73:25-26

I love this scripture about being a pattern of good works...

In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity, Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.
Titus 2:7-8

We all should strive for that shouldn't we sisters as Christ is worthy of nothing less!

And I love this scripture too...

For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,
Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.
Titus 3:3-8

Praise God for all He has done for us and now we get to do what we were created to do and have been called to...GOOD WORKS!!

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
Ephesians 2:10

Today's Encouragement (24 August 2022)

Greetings sisters!

Hope you're all standing fast in Christ today!

In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
1 John 4:9

Praise God for His love in sending His Son into this world!

I think this is such an awesome picture of God's amazing creation!

Thank you sister for sharing it! How beautiful. Glory to God! Water is such an amazing creation!

And thank you sister for sharing these flowers too! We have a great Creator who created us and all these things!

Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens; let thy glory be above all the earth.
Psalm 57:5

I've had a busy day with sewing, gardening, and animal work, and fellowshipping with sisters and being edified in God's Word. Hope your day is going well and that you keep striving on and holding fast!
