Today's Encouragement (3 August 2022)

 

Greetings sisters!

I'm back sharing a little bit more edification as the Lord gave me another day to do so and the ability to do this again! 

Thank you sister for the pretty flower pictures! Awesome creations! 

All from a great Creator! Glory to Him! 

And a blessing we get to share too! 

This hungry rooster hopped up and was eager to get at the chicken food in the bag... 

Such zeal to eat and makes me think of how we want to be for the things of God and feeding on His Word and the Bread of Life! 

Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

Matthew 5:6

And so I share some scriptures on zeal too.. 

Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

Titus 2:14

For I know the forwardness of your mind, for which I boast of you to them of Macedonia, that Achaia was ready a year ago; and your zeal hath provoked very many.

2 Corinthians 9:2

Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God. For I bear him record, that he hath a great zeal for you, and them that are in Laodicea, and them in Hierapolis.

Colossians 4:12-13

As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

Revelation 3:19

So let's keep being zealous in the right things sisters! We may have in our past been zealous for the things of this world and feeding our flesh...but now for God and for His good works He called us to as godly women! How much better is it to be consumed with eternal things and not the foolish emptiness of this dark world!
