Today's Encouragement (1 August 2022)

Greetings sisters!

Hope you are all trusting in the Lord and resting in His peace and joy today!

I simply share some scriptures I came across today. God's word is always good and we keep bringing up things over and over and it's very good to be reminded of things.

Rejoice not when thine enemy falleth, and let not thine heart be glad when he stumbleth:

Lest the Lord see it, and it displease him, and he turn away his wrath from him.

Proverbs 24:17-18

If thine enemy be hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he be thirsty, give him water to drink:

For thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head, and the Lord shall reward thee.

Proverbs 25:21-22

And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the Lord searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever.

1 Chronicles 28:9

Do our lives show we truly are thankful for all Christ has done for us? I hope so and we can never be too thankful can we! Nor can we be too holy or too obedient or love Him too much can we! No! He is so worthy!

I have a jungle of weeds to work on pulling in the vegetable garden...

It's such a beautiful time of year here though as everything seems so alive including the weeds! Well I guess weeds are just usually plants growing in the wrong spot where something else is meant to be. But we do know about this...

Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;

Genesis 3:18

But His earth is still so amazing with all the creations growing and flowering and covering the earth!

I think that's what I have for here today!

Keep holding fast sisters!

If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.

Proverbs 24:10

And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name's sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted.

Revelation 2:3

For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.

Hebrews 12:3

Faint not sister soldier saints! Be strong!

Love in Christ,

Sister Michaela
