Greetings sisters!
Coming back to you in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ! Without Him we are nothing and all is vain and hopeless. But in Him...there is much hope and life and light and peace and joy and mercy and forgiveness! Our God is the God! The One true and only living God! He is not worthy to be compared to any other 'god' which don't even really exist. Satan does though as the great adversary who will be cast down forever one day...by the King of kings and Lord of lords!
And when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces: and they said, The LORD, he is the God; the LORD, he is the God.
1 Kings 18:39
O give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endureth for ever. O give thanks to the Lord of lords: for his mercy endureth for ever.
Psalm 136:2-3
The king answered unto Daniel, and said, Of a truth it is, that your God is a God of gods, and a Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, seeing thou couldest reveal this secret.
Daniel 2:47
For the LORD your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, which regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward:
Deuteronomy 10:17
These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.Revelation 17:14
We are so blessed to get to know and serve this God! Let us see how great a blessing and responsibility it is and serve Him with all that we are!
I was pondering on examples...good and bad. We sure want to be a good example sisters...in every area. Yet humble, knowing we can fail. We never want to think we're anything lest we fall.
Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.1 Timothy 4:12
Are we a good example...in word? A good example in conversation (behaviour)? A good example in love? A good example in spirit? A good example in faith? A good example in purity? What are the areas we need to work on? We know we have not attained and won't but our life is to be an upward progression in growth and maturity.
Definitely we can learn from others examples...good and bad. Even though none of us want to be a bad example to anyone...much can indeed be learned from bad examples and we can see more clearly what we should no be like. God can use all things for good for us.
Now we never need to doubt Christ's example!
For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.John 13:15
Of course He's God though so may do things we are not called to but in so many ways He is our perfect example! We are called to follow and obey Him!
For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:
Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:
Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:
1 Peter 2:21-23
Some 'bad' examples for our learning...
Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.Jude 1:7
Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.
Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.
Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.
1 Corinthians 10:6,11-12
And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;2 Peter 2:6
And here I'm sharing some scriptures on God's love. Always good to not forget the depths of that in a world where love has waxed cold. It's precious and something to abide in through Christ.

While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Be ready in Christ for that great judgement day...

Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.
Acts 17:30-31
And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
Revelation 20:11-15
