Today's Edification (7 February 2024)

Salutations to my sisters in Christ!

I hope this finds each and every one of you stedfast in the Lord no matter what and being cheerful anyway!

These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

John 16:33

And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:

I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

Revelation 1:17-18

I love that.

Pretty morning light as I headed out on my travels...

His mercies are new every morning! Praise God for that! Therefore we have such great hope, and His faithfulness is great! Let us be faithful to Him.

Then I got my two cleaning jobs done. And the gospel went out along the way too.

I like to stop here at the lake and just 'be' there for a bit if there's anyone who could get the gospel. Pretty and peaceful creations for His glory. Was a glorious day!

And saw two ships standing by the lake: but the fishermen were gone out of them, and were washing their nets.

And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon's, and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down, and taught the people out of the ship.
Luke 5:2-3
I often think about how it was back then. So simple. Quite a contrast to man's corruption with all the ornate and expensive buildings he sets up today for the so called worship of God.

Thankful the Lord gave me safe travels back. Therefore, I will have different good works to occupy in for now.

I have to package and ship three sewing orders (means the gospel goes out too!).

And then I have shirts I want to sew and put up on my store...

And there will be garden work I'm sure and the other usual works like Titus 2, and posting here on my blog and being in the Word, emailing out the gospel, and being edified by the saints, so sounds like I will be busy. I hope to get my testimony audio done coming up soon so I'm thankful I have things to work on! That's a blessing. I'm sure you sisters are grateful to have an abundance of good works to do for our worthy Saviour too! Not bad works anymore! He set us free!

But...if the Lord wills we will live and do this or that. We know not what a day may bring forth.

More psalm readings here...

And simple quick evening encouragement...

Press on sisters! I'm trying to hold up your arms from here while I can:-)

And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed: and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed. But Moses' hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.

Exodus 17:11-12

Don't grow weary in well doing! And I'll strive not too here as well. We all have to fight our own spiritual battles daily. We can overcome through Him! We're extra blessed if we know of even one other saint striving on...how few they are. Perilous are these times but Christ is on the way soon!

To God be the glory!

Love in Christ,

Sister Chayil
