Greetings sisters!
It is one more day to live unto Him who loves us and died for us! Hopefully you're pressing on well in the faith. This is most important isn't it. We must strive lawfully too as Paul likened striving in the faith to someone competing in worldly games.
And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully.2 Timothy 2:5
Yes we too must be lawful to obtain that crown of life! People tend to say 'oh you're just a legalist' if you insist on being correct in God's way. But we better be. No we can't add or take away from God's Word but Jesus Himself said these and many more such things...
And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?Luke 6:46
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.Matthew 7:21
Sober warnings for us which God is good to have given to us. Let us humbly search our hearts and seek His will in His Word and keep striving lawfully for that heavenly incorruptible prize!
Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.
And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.
I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air:
But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

Our God is a good and merciful God...
The LORD openeth the eyes of the blind: the LORD raiseth them that are bowed down: the LORD loveth the righteous:Psalm 146:8
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,Luke 4:18
There is hope in Him! So much in this world seems so dark and hopeless but let us abide under the shadow of His wing so to speak.
Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.Psalm 63:7
This scripture is a good warning to us of what to watch out for...
And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection.Luke 8:14
Are we allowing any cares to choke us? Are we allowing any riches to choke us? Are we allowing any pleasures to choke us? Good to ponder on especially in such a time as we live in. Reminds me of this scripture too...
For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.1 John 2:16-17
It also does remind me of Martha too because she was at one point as recorded 'cumbered about much serving' while her sister was listening to Jesus' words. It's just good to examine our lives and take it seriously. We don't want to let these things choke us so we become unfruitful. Let us seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and do all we need to do in our duties well as unto Him.

Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.Psalm 19:14
Amen let us strive to be perfect in word and deed. The Lord help us.
Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.Hebrews 4:1
It's good to have godly fear. Let us fear lest we fall short of His promise of eternal life. Yes let us strive lawfully and may we cling to our Lord to help and save us.
Just sharing on a variety of things today. It's good to ponder His Word in our days and often I would like to more than I do and can but there's also daily life to think about too. But let us set our mind and affections on things above as much as possible and keep walking by faith.
I hope you keep pressing on my sisters! Worthy is the Lamb that was slain! Let us strive to walk worthy of Him in the good ways that He has before ordained that we should walk in! Love, mercy, and peace to you all. Be strong and of good courage! Rejoice in hope!
