Hello sister saints!
I am back again as the Lord allowed! I hope you're steadfast in the faith on this day and hoping in His mercy! May we keep doing things as unto the Lord as we know our labours in Him are never in vain!
And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.Colossians 3:23-24
I'm thankful for the forgiveness of sins, of mine and of those who have repented and turned to Him. This is a precious gift. And we know the call is for all people everywhere to repent so no one can say it doesn't mean them.
Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.Acts 5:31
But he, whom God raised again, saw no corruption. Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.Acts 13:37-39
To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.Acts 26:18
In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace.Ephesians 1:7
And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.Ephesians 4:32
And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses.Colossians 2:13
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1 John 1:9
And we know therefore that since we have been forgiven an unpayable debt we also are called to freely forgive those who sin against us which is of course less of a debt than us sinning against a holy God. In fact God even says we won't be forgiven if we don't forgive others. So we need to keep everything in the right perspective!
So keep striving on sisters with thankful hearts for such a wonderful Saviour and God that would forgive our great debt we could do nothing about! The parable in Luke 7 on it is so clear and amazing.
Keep walking in the truth of Christ sisters including those things He taught through His chosen men. I find it interesting how Paul was being a good example of a follower of Christ and besought the saints to imitate him as well.
Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me.1 Corinthians 4:16
Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.1 Corinthians 11:1
And the reason we can have this command is because what Paul was teaching was from the Lord Jesus as these scriptures show us!Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample.Philippians 3:17
Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, so ye would abound more and more. For ye know what commandments we gave you by the Lord Jesus.1 Thessalonians 4:1-2
Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.2 Corinthians 5:20
If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.1 Corinthians 14:37
Now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.2 Thessalonians 3:12
But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.Galatians 1:11-12
So we do know to not listen to Paul is to not listen to our Lord Jesus Christ. We don't want to do that do we sisters. So we are truly richly blessed with a great amount of wisdom, guidance, and commands for what pleases God!
Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;
And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;
In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:
In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.
Ephesians 2:19-22
And we know God gave commands for us women through the apostles Paul and Peter so that's an extra blessing for us to know and follow our Lord's ways in! So let us keep being adorned with meek and quiet spirits with covered heads and humble clothing and not external adornment. May we keep being chaste, discreet, sober, good, not false accusers, keepers of the home, and where applicable loving husbands and children etc. These are the sound doctrines we have been given to walk in! And more and of course we need the Lord's help to strive our best for our Father.
So keep walking in the light sisters! Hold fast to the truth wherever the Lord has called you! Love to you in His name.
