I'm thankful to know the one true and living God and that He sent a Saviour! I'm thankful to know the way and the truth and have His Word. I'm sure you are too! He is too good to us. Let us also be wise and remember His severity and fear Him.
Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:
For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.
Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.

But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.
Hebrews 13:16
Let us forget not all we should do! We know we can be well pleasing in His sight by what we do. I'm so glad to know His will. Of course there are situations we need to discern and do our best in but He helps us and we learn!
It's that time of year again where the season is beginning to change. Things just begin to feel different. That may bring about memories of things of former seasons. We know not what the times ahead may bring. But let us live in this moment the Lord has given and do our best in it!
We may want to do more for God...and that's a good thing to desire and what will keep us pressing on and testing our lives, but we need to be thankful and content to just do what we can. God knows! It may be an insatiable desire and we may wrack our minds thinking of what more good works to do and ask the Lord to show us anything we don't see but He knows our limitations and we have to rejoice in all we CAN do! We are to be zealous of good works so we don't want to quench the desire but use it to strive to do our very best in what we can do, faithful in 'little'. And He can bring us more in His time.
Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
Titus 2:14
What good harvest blessings! Hate to think how much all that would cost in a store. But the Lord grows it freely basically. He is good! (I would share with my sisters and their families if I could:-)
It is a joy to cook with all the things He made and with the fruits of your labours.
Garden grown tomatoes, potatoes, onions, leeks, garlic, and basil blessings within...

One day the Lord will come in flaming fire to destroy those who are not His obedient children. People think they can try to change the world...but they can't. Only the gospel can change individual lives for good for eternity.
