Today's Encouragement (1 December 2023)

Greetings godly sisters!

Here we are in the last month of the year already! You tend to lose track of time when you're living one day at a time in the Lord's service. Now in the New Covenant we don't have all these set dates and festivals to keep etc and we don't keep the world's pagan days either so each day is the same year around really! Every one is a new day to serve Him! And a new one of His mercies! There's the awesome changing seasons in His creation with the sun and moon that mark such changes.

And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

Genesis 1:14

And we just keep on serving Him as long as He gives us time here on this earth!

Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain:

Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.

For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that.

James 4:13-15

Next Mark scripture reading here...

And I have another audio with scripture encouragement for you...

Peaceful pelican creations fishing...

Good news up in a dark place...

Thankful to be restocked up on gospel cards too!

What precious eternal truth we have to give.

The more you strive on in the Lord the more you see the foolishness and emptiness of the world. Praise God to be set free from it! We have eternal things that sure are worth labouring for with all that we are!

Garden blessings here...

Peaceful, and for God's glory for creating such blessings!

I invite my godly sisters into my lodging:-)

 You're welcome any time!

And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.

Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.

Luke 22:19-20

Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
John 6:54

I ponder on the fact that our life is centred on Christ crucified and it is the foundation of the gospel we believe, live, and proclaim. So much depths to ponder. Let us not forget His death for our sins and the hope we have because of that.

This is what we look forward to sisters...

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Revelation 21:4

Praise God for such hope! Let's strive on so we can be found worthy in our Saviour when it's that time! We may be separated from the Lord because we walk by faith not sight (but we have His Spirit) and from godly saints but one day if we endure we shall all be with Him with former things passed away!

Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.

And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.

And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.

Revelation 19:7-9

Keep striving and labouring sisters!

Love in Christ,

Sister Chayil
