I hope you have been having fruitful days in the Lord!
I'm still traveling home myself. It's such a big earth the Lord made!
O give thanks to the Lord of lords: for his mercy endureth for ever.
To him who alone doeth great wonders: for his mercy endureth for ever.
To him that by wisdom made the heavens: for his mercy endureth for ever.
To him that stretched out the earth above the waters: for his mercy endureth for ever.
Psalm 136:3-6
This verse came to mind today...
But she that liveth in pleasure is dead while she liveth.
1 Timothy 5:6
...in seeing what the world occupies itself in and fills their eyes and ears and life with. We know we live in a Sodom-like culture. And it's judgement is coming.
Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.
Ecclesiastes 8:11
Let us sisters who are alive from the dead live for the Lord and not for our own pleasures.
This scripture is also good to ponder...
For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods.
And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey.
Matthew 25:14-15
Reminds me that the Lord has given us work to do while He is gone. We know He is with us in the Spirit but we do walk by faith not by sight. So we want to be diligently labouring for our Master while He is away. He sees all we do...and will reward accordingly.

Amazing how much the scriptures talk about good works and how we are to be all about them.
