Today's Encouragement (25 October 2023)

Greetings sisters!

I'm coming back here again to edify you today for God's glory!

Thank you sister for this reminder...

We have many responsibilities as daughters of the most high God don't we sisters?! We do have a high calling in Christ!

Snowy, cold walk today...

But beautiful in it's own way.

Makes a slippery icy mess of the roads though...
Glad I don't have to drive in that.

(Thank you sister for adding that scripture:-)

I was thinking today how we can and need to be a good example at all times as we know we are being watched most of all by the Lord but by all people who see us, the saints and the lost world. And we need to be a good witness as we bear Christ's name lest we bring reproach upon Him which we do not want to do. And even how we handle trials is a good witness if we do it well. People may expect to see us stumble or react in a way that the world does but we have a better way of life - the Lord's ways.

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Isaiah 55:8-9

It was sweet today seeing the three year old walking around the house with a big pole (which was his gospel sign:-) and asking if I wanted a gospel card or needed a homeless pack:-) In fact, the other day when we went shopping he reminded us to take along homeless packs and sure enough there was a homeless man at the traffic lights begging and so brother gave him a pack. (These homeless packs are small bags we have with simple snacks and a gospel card in for beggars or those in need.). Even the children can help in good things even though of course they do not yet understand the depths of it all. Hopefully they grow up to be godly saints in time! It's a blessing to see them being trained in the Lord. Godly mother's have a big responsibility!

I'm sharing some reminders for us to be thankful for our great Saviour!

The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree.

Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.

Acts 5:30-32

But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:

2 Timothy 1:10

And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.

1 John 4:14

He is our only hope! Let us follow hard after Him and walk in His truth and grace!

Hold fast sister saints!

Love in Christ,

Sister Chayil
