Today's Encouragement (3 August 2023)

Greetings sisters!

Hope you're standing and stedfast and unmoveable in your faith on this day. We know our labours are not in vain in the Lord!

Beautiful day here God made...

Every day is a good day in the Lord though! Well as long as we are striving on. He is good!

Hopefully a fruitful onion harvest coming up...

But many months to wait yet...so as in many things we need patience. We are waiting for the Lord and so must patiently endure this life for however long He wants us here.

Sometimes before and after pictures can be more encouraging if you don't think you're making any progress on something...

And that can be a bit the same in our lives if we think we haven't grown recently or something, we can remember how far the Lord has brought us! We know we do not stay in our original state when we repent and decide to submit to the Lord and follow Him.
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
1 Peter 2:9
And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
1 Corinthians 6:11
Amen the past is gone and we have been called into marvellous light and made new and clean in Him! And we want to keep growing and learning and maturing and using our senses to discern good and evil.

And leaving our sins and serving a glorious Saviour is not bondage like many sadly think. Having boundaries (like barriers on a highway with steep drop offs) is a necessity to make it safely on the narrow road isn't it sisters? The way is very narrow and few find it. But it's never a burden to serve the one true and living God! Doesn't mean it isn't hard. He told us it will be but only those who don't want to obey think this life we sisters live is a burden. But we are set free from darkness and sin and we keep fighting the good fight of faith until the end!
For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
1 John 5:3
They're not grievous, sisters! I know you all say amen! The 'Christians' who think we are in bondage might as well come out and say (and some may)..."let's not obey God anymore". How wicked, as that is all we are striving to do...obey Him. They seem to think Jesus did it all for us. Last I recall Jesus Himself said go sin no more and that even thoughts were sin. Yes sisters we indeed have been called to a holy life so let's not let anyone tell us otherwise! Only workers of satan would do that. But His Word is truth. We just have to go read that if someone tries to say "has God really said you still have to obey?" (and we know they say it in more cryptic and sly ways than that oftentimes). He is so holy and worthy to be lived for!
Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.
3 John 1:11

Next scripture reading to edify my sisters...

The word of the Lord came again to me, saying,

Son of man, when the land sinneth against me by trespassing grievously, then will I stretch out mine hand upon it, and will break the staff of the bread thereof, and will send famine upon it, and will cut off man and beast from it:

Though these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, they should deliver but their own souls by their righteousness, saith the Lord God.

Ezekiel 14:12-14

Thank you sister for these scripture pictures...

Praise God for that!

Amen I love that too. He is good and we are seeking Him and His holy ways.

Hold fast sisters and let's all keep loving the Lord our God! I hope all your Titus 2 works go well too. It is a blessing to be godly women as the Lord is pleased with His obedient daughters.

Love in Christ,

Sister Chayil
