Today's Encouragement (28 June 2023)

Hello sisters!

Here's a new day serving the Lord! How's things in your life? I hope you are stedfast and strong and striving on!

For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;

Hebrews 3:14

Pretty sunshine on a winter's day here...

I've had such a busy day cleaning. I'm sure my sisters are hard workers and thankful for rest after a day of hard work. We know laziness is not spoken well of in God's word so we don't want to be that!

Good scripture reminder from a picture a sister sent...

Endure hardness. Yes most of all in the faith and also in these earthly tabernacles we are living in on this earth that is affected by the curse from sin. We have the hope of a new body though!
So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:

It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:

It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

1 Corinthians 15:42-44
Praise God for that hope!

Nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more needful for you.

Philippians 1:24

I was thinking about what Paul said how he was divided how he wanted to go be with the Lord but also to be serving the saints. And that's a good reminder to us to be serving others, being a blessing and edifying and helping and loving the saints. And things like being a good witness to others and sharing the gospel which is the only hope they have. So we have this new day and the Lord is the giver and taker of our life so He wants us here today so let's be a blessing to others remembering it's more blessed to give than to receive amen sisters!

Final crop from the tomato plants here...

Seasons come and go. And we too are just here for a short time. Those look pretty don't they are are awesome food blessings!

Next scripture reading to edify my sisters...

Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump? Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:
1 Corinthians 5:6-7
Let us not be complacent with any sin whatsoever.

(Thank you sister for the scriptures.)

We know faith is so important. I love how the apostles asked for more faith. That seems like a very humble thing to do and not trusting in ourselves. We sure need His help.

That is awesome. What a great caring God we serve!

Well I must go but I hope you keep being stedfast and setting your faces like flint and I will here and let's keep striving on sisters! Hold fast!

Love in Christ,

Sister Chayil
