I had a busy day with several hours travel to help out at the children's place again. It's a blessing when we have good works to occupy in that are good and beneficial to others. No time for idle time wasting is there sisters! Praise the Lord for setting us free from various false ways and sin!
Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;
That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.
For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries:
Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you:
1 Peter 4:1-4
Amen we no longer do such things living after our flesh! There is a big change that takes place in us from being children of this world to becoming children of God!
Let's keep overcoming whatever hardness there may be in our life and if it's relatively 'easy' then preparing and expecting hardness and trials or persecution as we know we will have them if we live godly.
Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
