Today's Encouragement (28 March 2023)

Greetings sisters!

Hope all is well in your life as you're striving on after our Saviour!

We sisters encourage each other to just keep going in everything good, and doing what He has in front of us, and being godly women, and seeing what He has for us each day and then striving on in all this no matter what! We're so blessed in whatever we can have for online encouragement today too. One day all the faithful saints from all time and all places shall be gathered home at the marriage supper of the Lamb!

Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.

And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.

And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.

Revelation 19:7-9

Praise God for even an opportunity of such a blessed hope as we don't deserve it. But today we have work to do to be preparing for that special time don't we. Let's keep focusing on that.

A glimpse into my day of Titus 2...

In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
1 Thessalonians 5:18

I'm sure you're all labouring in your many good godly woman works and thankful for all He gives! A sister shared another audio today on the Proverbs 31 woman and it had in there about working willingly with hands. We sisters do a lot of that and we want to do it willingly and not grudgingly right sisters?!

I finally thought just recently of adding bird netting over the cabbage seedlings to keep out butterflies that lay eggs on them which means you have a lot of holes and grubs and their mess in your crop to deal with before cooking.

There were still some grubs caught under there from before I put it on which chewed many holes but they're looking much better than they would have! And I hope to do that in future for all things like cauliflower, broccoli, and cabbages etc. Try to at least. I think it will be worth it!

Here's a Titus 2 cleaning tip also (which I saw online) and tested the other day. Was trying to get rid of burned on patches in a ring around the heating element on the glass cooktop...

Sprinkle bi-carb soda on the area after turning on the element to warm up (helps soften the grease I think. Just don't burn yourself:-). And drizzle some dish soup on top of the baking soda. Turn off the element and tip on some vinegar in a patch to start working. I used a non abrasive (yet heavy duty) sponge to then scrub at it (obviously, don't want to damage the glass).

If/when it dries out and cools down tip on a bit of hot or boiling water from a kettle to keep it softer...and keep scrubbing.

It didn't get it all off but was definitely much better...

Thankful for simple ways that work to keep things clean without nasty chemicals. I tried it on the oven glass door too when it was still hot from baking and it worked quite well also.

Maybe some of you have that to deal with in your Titus 2 works.

Scripture reading to edify...

Hope your day is a great one as you keep pressing on with much patience in the Lord sisters. Hold fast!

Love in Christ,

Sister Chayil
