Today's Encouragement (3 January 2023)

Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.

2 John 1:3

Greetings sister saints!

I hope you're all strong in the Lord and the power of His might today!

(thank you sister for the picture) What precious promises we have indeed! There are very many precious things in this life in Christ!

And I myself also am persuaded of you, my brethren, that ye also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another.
Romans 15:14
I love that...full of goodness able to admonish one another.

Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.

Romans 14:19

I love that too!

I spotted the first ripe tomatoes of the season...

That tomato leaf smell is a very summery smell isn't it! Awesome creations!

We're loaded with zucchini blessings here. I'd share with you sisters if I could!

Praise God for all good things!

And fruit blessings coming along too...

Quite small but fruitful trees! We too ought to be bearing much fruit! We know what happens to trees that don't bear fruit when they should.

He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none.

Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground?

And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it:

And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.

Luke 13:6-9

I found this little sunflower that had come up in the grass...

And I wanted to put some water on it as it wasn't looking very well as it's so dry.

And it reminded me of this scripture...

Then said the Lord, Thou hast had pity on the gourd, for the which thou hast not laboured, neither madest it grow; which came up in a night, and perished in a night:

And should not I spare Nineveh, that great city, wherein are more than sixscore thousand persons that cannot discern between their right hand and their left hand; and also much cattle?

Jonah 4:10-11

I'm sure you know the rest of the story or can refresh in it. But it just makes me remember we need to have compassion for the lost.

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

2 Peter 3:9

Well I hope you're striving on to be a godly woman in all your ways! Hold fast sisters and just take this life one day at a time not worrying about tomorrow!

Love to to all,

Sister Michaela
