Greetings sisters!
Are you holding fast to the Lord and His truth today? I tust so and also hope all your good works as godly women are going well! I'm sure there's a lot of cooking and cleaning and other such serving and helping duties going on that we all do! Well we all have different lives and callings but we're all still women and we know we were created to be helpers. And even if some of you have health limitations...it matters if you're being faithful in what you can do and content and patient in what you can't. God knows our hearts and motives.
Sharing a scripture of what we don't want to be...
Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
James 4:4
We don't want to be spiritual adulteresses (God's enemies) do we, like we used to be?! No! Praise God He set us free from our past sinful life of serving ourselves and the flesh and not fully being a spotless bride unto Christ!
And saying, Sirs, why do ye these things? We also are men of like passions with you, and preach unto you that ye should turn from these vanities unto the living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein:
Acts 14:15
I love that too..."turn from these vanities"...amen we did that and now warn others to do the same lest they perish. The world is filled with all manner of the lusts of the flesh. But we live to serve the One who created us, and fear and love Him!
