Today's Encouragement (30 December 2022)

Hello sisters!

I'm dropping by again in the midst of my busy day. But I don't forget my sisters in Christ or any seekers who may be reading here! I hope you're all doing well and striving on in the Lord seeking that which is eternal!

If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

Colossians 3:1-2

I share a few scriptures to edify...

Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.

Psalm 19:14

For my mouth shall speak truth; and wickedness is an abomination to my lips.

All the words of my mouth are in righteousness; there is nothing froward or perverse in them.

They are all plain to him that understandeth, and right to them that find knowledge.

Proverbs 8:7-9

And those would also go for all our written words too.

We want to be good trees bringing forth all good fruit!

Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.

Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter?

Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh.

James 3:10-12

More sewing it was for me today...

Thankful for strength and ability God gives me to do what I can.

Just thought this was a bit funny as any of you sewing sisters would understand. Hoping the thread doesn't run out before you finish a seam. But it sure does sometimes!

But praise God for His truth that never runs out!

This is a practical picture of what Jesus said about not rooting up the tares lest it uproot the wheat also..

(from when I was weeding in the garden and pulled up a bean plant with a big weed)

He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?

But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.

Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

Matthew 13:28-30

(also reminds me that the pre-tribulation rapture is a lie)

Thank you sisters for this picture...

That's an awesome sunset and scripture! Amen our Lord is worthy of that all...and more than we can give Him! Let us give Him our life in service to Him.

Well I must go but keep holding fast sister saints! And each day is a new one of His mercies and we keep growing and doing better striving for perfection!

Love to you all,

Sister Michaela
