Today's Encouragement (29 November 2022)

Greetings in the Lord to my sisters!

Hoping you're doing well in Him and walking in His strength and truth on this day!

Sharing this scripture which I loved reading...

Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.

No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.

John 10:17-18

Thinking about Christ's total power over death! So glad for what He did for us.

Thank you sister for this awesome scripture picture gift...

We're so thankful for His tender mercies...we are most hopeless without that.

I was telling some sisters how I was thinking about how in the book of Acts those early saints were daily all about the things of God! And we do our best to do that today via technology through email, text, messenger, audio, or even letters. Praise God for whatever means of fellowship in Him! It's precious and such a blessing because we know the saints are so few!

And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name. And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.

Acts 5:41-42

These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

Acts 17:11

I love thinking about that and their zeal and love for the Lord. And we sisters today want to be like that too don't we! The Lord is our first love!

More garden harvest!

Such blessings He created!

For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

Colossians 1:16-17

Good harvest from the carrot jungle...

A tiny fraction of how many there are! And He grows it from the ground...but one day we too will return to the dust. But our spirit will be with the Lord!

Heading off to look after the children again tomorrow. Made a quick snack for the road and for the children...

Good blessings! (It's just some melted coconut oil, coconut, maple syrup, oats, almond flour, cacao powder all thrown together in a ratio that looked right and set in the fridge.)

My day is over...

And my sisters on the other side of the world may be getting a brand new day...to choose to serve the Lord! And taking up our crosses daily!
And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

Luke 9:23

Hold fast sister saints! Christ our Lord and Saviour and King and Master is so worthy! Let us deny ourselves and follow Him!

Love in Him,

Sister Michaela
